A homemade GIFT!

Yesterday I baked some Banana Cookies with Walnuts and while I was doing that I thought that I need to do a little Cookie Mix Jar gift and my daughter help me out with it. Here is the result! You just need 3 mashed bananas, 1 egg and margarine and you are ready to bake some YUMMY banana cookies! The card was part of the challenges Paper Wings has last week at the Holiday Celebration Event, the challenge was to use 2 buttons or more. Hope you like it, I know my family LOVE the banana cookies!!

Ayer hice galletitas de guineo y nueces y mientras las hacía pensé que necesitaba hacer un regalito con los ingredientes para preparar esta receta y mi hija me ayudó, que mucho nos divertimos!! Este fue el resultado. Solo necesitas añadir 3 guineos majados, 1 huevo y margarina y estarás lista para hornear unas riquísimas galletitas de guineo! La tarjeta fue parte del evento de Navidad del foro Paper Wings de la semana pasada, el challenge era usar dos o más botones. Espero les guste, se que a mi familia le encantaron las galletitas de guineo!!

Joyful Ornaments!

They are such a classy image during this Season, right? I have been playing with this set a little bit because my oldest daughter is working with it for the Tree Ornaments! She is doing fabulous with that!! I can't wait to show you, how creative she is!

For this card I just stamped my image in red and then I do a third generation stamping for the background, I just need a little bit of something back there, lol! I embelish the ornament with my white gel pen, such a nice touch! Hope you like it!

Son super clásicos para esta época, verdad? He estado jugando un poco con este set, pues mi hija mayor está haciendo algunos adornos para el árbol de Navidad con este set! Le están quedando fabulosos!! No puedo esperar para compartir con ustedes lo creativa que es!

Para esta tarjeta simplemente estampé la imagen con tinta roja y luego use la técnica de tercera generación para estampar el fondo de la tarjeta, pues solo quería un leve toquecito, jeje! Terminé añadiendo algunos detallitos a la imagen con mi plumón de gel blanco, le da ese toquecito! Espero que les guste!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Today challenge is about Gift Cards!! Sometimes we just have no idea about what to give and we just get a Gift Card from a store we know they can get something they need, right? Well, how do you give these Gift Cards, just like that, or with the lil stuff the store give you (if they give you something, lol). Try to come up with something different for this years gift cards! Here is what I did and I am not a fan of Gift Cards, but just in case I need it! If you want to get the template and measures just write a comment here!

En ocasiones no tenemos ni idea de que regalar y sencillamente compramos una Tarjeta de Regalo de alguna tienda en la cual sabemos la persona que la recibe puede comprar algo que le guste y/o necesita, cierto? (por ejemplo en nuestro caso una tienda de sb, jeje). Bueno, como entregas estas tarjetas? así nada más, o en lo que te dan en la tienda (si es que te dan algo, jeje). Trata algo nuevo, inventate algo difernete para entregar las tarjetas de este año! Esto fue lo que cree y no soy fanática de las Tarjetas de Regalo, pero solo por si la necesito! Christmas Boy Card!

As you know I have two daughters, so my main interest is girly stuff, but when I saw this set for the first time, I knew I need to have it. The other day my oldest daughter told me, "mom, why do you buy those boys if you are not going to use them?" so here is a card I did just to let her know I will use it! BTW the Christmas Tree was her idea, lol!

Como ustedes saben yo tengo dos hijas, así que mi principal interés son cositas girly, pero cuando vi este set por primera vez, sabía que lo quería. El otro día mi hija mayor me dijo: "Mamá, ¿por qué comprar esos niños si no los vas a utilizar?" asi que hice una tarjeta para hacerle saber que si los usaré! BTW el árbol de havidad en la parte de atrás, fue su idea, jeje!

Want some Copic Markers?

This is the time #8 that I try to post this message, everytime is a different thing, but I alwasy ended up without finishing, yes, I started yesterday, so I need to change it a little bit today, lol!

Esta es la octava vez que empiezo a trabajar con este "post", cada vez que empiezo pasa algo y termino sin publicarlo, siii, lo empecé ayer! así que necesito hacer algunos cambios hoy, jeje!

What is Wrong with ME!

Oh well!! I guess I am to old for technology, lol!! I found out today, that my picture didn't showed up on my Wednesday of Challenge post (the one using Reece paper collection) and the post I had pre-scheduled yesterday didn't show up either!! What did I do wrong? I am not sure, maybe I was so frustrated that didn't do it correctly, but anyway, here they are. I delete the post I had pre-scheduled to show up yesterday and I am posting here the two cards (I used the same set anyway!) Yes, is one of the new sets on the Inspiration Avenue that TAC released on September 1st. As soon as I check that set I knew I want to add glitter to it! so that was what I did first, then I wasn't sure of the whole idea and here is what I did. Hope you like it! Let me some love here and tell me what set you will love I use now! or guess wich one I am using now!!

Creo que sencillamente estoy muy vieja para la tecnología, la imagen de la tarjeta del miércoles NO salió! (es la que tiene el papel de Reece) y el post que programé para ayer tampoco salió! ¿Qué hice mal? No estoy segura, talvez estaba tan frustrada que no lo hice bien? de todos modos aquí las tarjetas que hice con el sello Peace. Si, es uno de los nuevos sets en el Inspiration Avenue que TAC sacó en Septiembre 1ero! Tan pronto como vi ese imagen sabía que quería ponerle brillito!! así que eso fue lo primero que hice, luego no estaba segura de la idea completa así que hice dos tarjetas integrando lo que tenía en mente. Wednesday of Challenge!

Did you do the homework? Did you do your list of people you need to get gifts for Christmas? Well even those you didn't hightlight NEED a tag for their gifts, right? or do you give them away without a tag or mini card? common do you buy those? NO!! You can do that and you can start now without knowing anything, these are the details we tend to forget, right? Well not this year, my challenge for you today is to do some of all the tags you are going to need, this way you are ready to start!!

This tag is an easy one! I started with a white tag and then stamped randomly some images from Circle Sampler in green and red! then I add my sentiment to match the little bag I am using! I stamped the tree from Holiday Cheer and a scallop circle to embelish the little bag and of course a ribbon!! Is simple and fun so you can do ALL the ones you need! The good thing about this design is that you can use whatever stamps you have on hands to create your own christmas paper this save you money for the gifts!!

¿Hiciste la tarea de la semana pasada? ¿Hiciste la lista de las personas a las que necesitas regalarle en Navidad? Bueno comenzaremos con algo sencillo que aún aquellas que no estarían marcadas necesitan uno: Los tags! Pues aunque no sea un regalo hecho a mano necesitamos darle un toque especial, verdad? o los das sin un tag, o peor los compras? NOO!!! Tu puedes hacerlo con todos esos scraps que tienes por ahí y ni necesitas saber lo que les regalarás! Estos son los detallitos que por lo general se nos olvidan, NO este año!! Vamos a hacerlos YA!! pues mi RETO de hoy es hacer algunos o TODOS los tags que necesitarás para tus regalos y así estarás lista para comenzar una temporada tranquila sin ajoros de último momento!

Este es un super sencillo TAG! Comencé con cardstock blanco en el que estampé algunas imágenes del Circle Sampler en rojo y verde! luego añadí un sentimiento que combinara con la bolsita que usé. Además estampé un arbolito del set Holiday Cheer y corté un círculo de scallop con un punch para decorar la bolsita y por supuesto cinta!! Es super sencillo y divertio para que puedas hacer TODOS los que necesitas! Lo bueno de este diseño es que puedes usar cualquier stamp que tengas a la mano para crear tu propio papel y así ahorrar para los regalos que necesias compar!!

Hit the Beach and get Ready for Christmas!

Yes, I am late!! is funny cause on Wednesday I have issues with my computer and then yesterday with Blogger so I couldn't post it sooner!! Please forgive me!! About the card, I used the Mia's Cottage paper and the Hit the Beach stamp set, don't they look just like fun time? I really like the fun of it, this was one of the images I bring with me from Seminar! yes, and now that the summer is gone, I use it, lol!!

Now that is not going to happen with the Christmas cards and gifts, right? is time to get ready to start the Christmas planning, NOW! Another Christmas in July card!

Yes, a Catalog Submmision that didn't make it, lol!!! Actually I have been working with lots of things not stamping related (that I may share later) so I want to share some stuff I did and couldn't share before! (Tomorrow I will share another box!! wohooooooo, but details tomorrow, lol).

For this card I used the Reece paper and cardstock collection that I LOVE!! is so relaxing! I really like it a lot!! (I love the blue and green color combo and even when this is not totally green and blue combo it reminds me how much I love it, lol). I also used the Joy of Christmas stamp set that I love because is a veratil set!! If you need something don't forget you can go shopping with me here!

Si, otra tarjeta de las que envié al llamado que hizo TAC para el nuevo catálogo, pero que no fue publicada, jeje!! Actualmente he estado trabajando con varias cosas no relacionadas al stamping (que compartiré luego) así que quiera compartir algunas de las cosas que no había podido compartir antes! (Mañana compartiré otra caja, wohooooo, pero los detalles mañana, jeje).

Para esta tarjeta use la colección de papeles y la de cardstock de Reece, a mi me encanta!! es como tan relajante! Realmente me gusta muchísimo! (Amo la combinación de verde y azul y aún cuando esta no es exactamente una combinación verde y azul, me recuerda lo mucho que me encanta, jeje). También usé el sello Joy of Christmas que también me encanta por su versatilidad! Recuerda que si deseas comprar materiales de The Angel Company puedes hacerlo aquí!

Christmas in July and Discounted Products!

I love to start thinking about Christmas in July, even when in Puerto Rico we celebrate "Navidades en Septiembre" (Christmas in September) so this way I celebrate Christmas in July, in September and in December!!! Wednesday of Challenge

Merry Christmas!!

Just a lil note to wish you a Very Merry Christmas day. I pray for a day filled with God's blessings today and always! Is Christmas EVE!!!

Just one day!! isn't exciting? This is a mini album I did today! DH asked me to do for my MIL! yes he asked me to do it TODAY! lol! so this is just the cover cause I'm tired and don't have time to take pictures of everything, cause I need to package my dd's gifts!! yes TODAY!! Is a quick and simple mini album using maya road chipboard album (is the 6 X 6 that we carry on our catalog!)

2 days 'til Christmas!

Hello All!! I finally sent all my christmas cards today!! Now working with gifts for christmas! This is one I did for my sister, is a coaster calendar/frame. She is a counselor and I think she can use it on her desk! There she can display a photo too, so she can have two gifts in one!

I sued Catelyne paper collection (remember that this awesome collection is on sale right now, buy one get one FREE! valid 'til Dec. 31), I also used the Early Bird and Soul kisses special sets! (you can get this at a special price with your $30 purchase!)

3 days 'til Christmas!

Isn't exciting just 3 days to celebrate Jesus!! This is going to be a short post because I need to finish a couple of things before Christmas, yeah I'm late, how you guess? Well, I want to share 2 other designs I did for my friends this Christmas hope they like them!!

I used the Vintage Holiday paper (again, I love it), Silhouette Nativity, Joy of Christmas and Spanish Sentiment stamps sets, scallop and circle punch and yess!!! I got my hands in a Martha Stewart's punch!! wohooooo!! (is kind of hard punching with this! do you have that same issue?, please let me know!)and the felt flower cut with my sizzix!!

4 days 'til CHRISTMAS!!

Is almost here!! the day we celebrate Jesus came to SAVE us!! what a blessing is that we can celebrate Him and we can share the good news with others. Take your time to think about Him, about what He have done in your life and share that with others.

I have a great day today! I teach Bible School to my daughters and we talk about Faith! it was such a blessing to share with them about it (it was Peter's story when he walked on water) and then at Church the Pastor preach about the Annunciation when the Angel talked to Maria, what a Great Woman!! I always cry when I read this story, is just amazing, she was a woman, but she received God's favor because she was special. Her character was humble, she was obedient and she LOVES God with all her heart! We need to learn so much from her! I hope you feel the joy of the Christmas on your heart and may God be with you this Christmas day and always!

About the card! This was the other card I did yesterday! the one that I did 8 cards (some are in Spanish and some have two lil trees instead of the one big tree!) I enjoy a lot doing this! it was really quick! because I had the trees pre-cut!

5 days 'til Christmas

Finally we put the tree!!! wohoooooooo!! just on time, right? lol! Today I also sent my cards, another wohoooooooooo for me!! I have to do more cards! because I start doing my cards one by one specially designed for everyone on my list! but I couldn't make it!! so sorry!! today I did 16 mass production cards!! I was sooooooooo happy!! I just need to get some dear friend addresses and they are ready to go too!!

Here is one of the models I worked on today, I did 8 of this and 8 of another model I will show you tomorrow! all 16 in less than an hour! but I had the scallpos already cut out!! but assembly is the worst part for me!! so keep that in mind I was really fast, lol!

6 days 'til Christmas a LONG day!

OUCH!!! Today was a really LONG day! We went out today with the idea of pay the cell phone bill (the one with the company we used to be for more than 7 years! and that we didn't have any contract now! for my surprise when I tried to pay on the authomatic machine it said that my balance was more than $700 so I called customer service and they said that my contract was until 2009! wich I'm sure isn't so I wait for 2 hours to be attended for a cs representative! she reminds of us (long story) so she just added a note in the system (because our account was cancelled, we switch company) so she couldn't do more than that, then she put me on the phone with the Financial dept! and the adjust me the account (well I need to wait 2 biz day to be sure of this) wow more than 3 hours there!! so our shopping trip was reduced now he left almost 4 hours later because we need to have lunch! we headed to another town wich is about an hour to go shopping (some outlets stores) we finished the shopping time around 6:30 and we came back home!

I cooked something quick and started working here on my workshop I cut about 6 of this project but I'm so tired!! that I just put together this 3!! Hope you like it, there are post-it note holders!! I did them with the scor-pal.

How to?

With a 7½ x 3½ cardstock, score at 3½ and 4. Then embelished as desire! Easy peasy!! right?

I need to run, I'm sooooooooo TIRED, the problem with the cell phone company just took a lot of my energy, the lady at customer service through the phone was soooooo NASTY!! that I was sooo UPSET!! lol, now I just can laugh about it!! Have a great weekend!
