A homemade GIFT!

Yesterday I baked some Banana Cookies with Walnuts and while I was doing that I thought that I need to do a little Cookie Mix Jar gift and my daughter help me out with it. Here is the result! You just need 3 mashed bananas, 1 egg and margarine and you are ready to bake some YUMMY banana cookies! The card was part of the challenges Paper Wings has last week at the Holiday Celebration Event, the challenge was to use 2 buttons or more. Hope you like it, I know my family LOVE the banana cookies!!

Ayer hice galletitas de guineo y nueces y mientras las hacía pensé que necesitaba hacer un regalito con los ingredientes para preparar esta receta y mi hija me ayudó, que mucho nos divertimos!! Este fue el resultado. Solo necesitas añadir 3 guineos majados, 1 huevo y margarina y estarás lista para hornear unas riquísimas galletitas de guineo! La tarjeta fue parte del evento de Navidad del foro Paper Wings de la semana pasada, el challenge era usar dos o más botones. Espero les guste, se que a mi familia le encantaron las galletitas de guineo!!

Happy Mother's Day for you!

Wishing you a great day today!! Celebrating with your family and hope you can get a little time to scrap as well!! I can tell you I have a great one, DH and my girls did breakfast for me and it was yummoo!!! Then we went to church and to MIL house! and we had a great time there too! Now back home sharing this last minute card with you! I used Catelynne Paper Collection and Trendy Greetings.

I need to call my mom again and I will get some time to get some stuff done! wohooooo! Just a fabulous day!!

Where April is going?

WOW! today is 23, time is sure flying!! Oh well, don't forget to get the April's promotions as soon as you can because is only one week to go!! This card is a quick and easy card for those times when you noticed that you should have done a card!! (but you didn't!). I like how this colors look together! and the simple and sophisticated look that they have! I used the Booko Blessings set again! I am loving this sentiments!!

The other day I promised someone to share my Bread Pudding Recipe, so here it goes:

¼ cup Margarine (I use canola)

2 cups Brown Sugar

4 Beaten Eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Cinamon

1 pd Whole Wheat Bread

2 ½ cups Soy Milk

Pre-heat oven to 350. Beat eggs. In another bowl mix the sugar with the margarine. Mix together the eggs with the sugar and margarine mix. Add the milk, cinamon and vanilla. Crumble the bread on top of the mix and blend it together. Pour the mixture in a grease pand and bake for about 45-50 mins. Enjoy it!

Wednesday of Challenge

I need to apologize because this is a lil late! but today was a busy day! My dear father have a dr's appointment today! today he is going to get the results from a biopsy to know if he have cancer, so we decided to be there with him! THANKS and PRAISE to God! he is fine!! so today we were out of here since early morning we have breakfast outside so we were out of here pretty early! and we came at mid evening! so I had to do some stuff and then I NEED to see the premiere of DAMAGES!! ohhhh that was good! do you see Damages? if noot check it out! the actors/actresses are just GREAT!!

Anyway onto the challenge! since is the first one of 2009 I want to do something pretty easy and since I didn't have so much time today! I took a card from my stash! this one was made for my FIRST attempt to get publish!! lol! NO, they didn't selected but I enjoy doing it!! so for this challenge I want to use a COLOR COMBO! I love the thing to work with color combos! so this is the color combo for today! RED, PINK, KRAFT, IVORY and BROWN! Hope to see your creations. With Love Day around the corner I think this color combo can make it easier for you do to Love cards!

The Owl is here!

Yes, Finally I did an owl's card! This one is from Fall Fun one of the new Mabelle's stamps! I just love it!! don't you? is so easy to work with! you can even stamp it with PINK!! lol! I love that girl on that set and I did a card with it, but I sent it to a dear friend without taking a picture!! soooo I need to redo it and then share it with you!! and of course I color it with PINK!

About the card! this is a quick and simple card you can make in less than 5 minutes!! the kind of card we need to be working if we want to have all Christmas cards and all lil gifts we have to do for the Christmas season! I used the Fall Fun set, Spanish Sentiment set and A little Whimsy paper pad this paper is sooo awesome you get 36 (8 X 8) papers for just $6.95!!! you can do a lot of cards!!! and even is great for doing my favorite scrapbook layouts!! (I love the 8 X 8 size!!)
