Another gift idea: Using Monograms

I know Christmas is coming really fast, that's why I said on my last newsletter that I will be sharing some gift ideas and that way you can start getting ready for it! I know we love to give everyone something and with this economy it's not that easy, but with this simple and savy gifts I am sure you can give more than you expect! Here I am sharing with you a kit I sent TAC for the Mono Madness contest, no I didn't win but I am sooooooooooooo in LOVE with this one that I want to share with you! I did 3 mini cards, a mini notebook and a scraped CD case you can add a picture and have it in your desk! I love the More Mimi Double Sided paper collection and of course I have to use it soon! Las Navidades están a la vuelta de la esquina y se que a todas nos encanta regalar y regalarle a todos en la lista! pero también se que este año la economía no está muy buena, por eso les anuncié en el newsletter pasado, que estaré compartiendo algunas ideas de regalitos aquí en el blog para que se vayan preparando. Estos regalitos son sencillos, elegantes y delicaditos y te ayudarán a regalar más con menos dinero! Este es un kit que envié para el concurso "Monogram Madness" de TAC, lamentablemente no gané, pero estoy tannnnnnnnnn enamorada de el que quiero compartirlo con ustedes! Hice 3 mini tarjetas, una mini libretita y una cajita de CD escrapeada para que puedan poner una foto y adornar el escritorio! Me fascina la nueva colección More Mimi que es doble cara, así que quise usarla tan rápido como pude (en realidad esos fueron unos scraps que nos dieron en el Seminario, jeje). ¿Qué te parece? Espero que te guste tanto como a mi!

A contest share!

I promise this is a short post since I am getting everything ready for a FUNshop tomorrow! We will be having fun with Christmas cards!! (don't forget to get a date if you want that I go and share with you and your friends a little bit of creativity in a FUNshop or demo).

I want to share this contest entry with you, no I didn't win, but I love my little project and want you to see it, lol! The theme was Wedding Wonderful and my project doesn't say anything about wedding, BUT for me is a little wedding treasure that you can have in your purse. The mini album name is Bendiciones "Blessings" and the pages have room to put little pictures of the bride and groom "Amor/Love" and for the "Familia/Family". For me those are important themes in a wedding mini album and I focused on them, so while I was packing another contest entry I decide to give this theme a try! (it was done in less than 20 minutes because I was packing some orders and some catalogs and packing the Monogram Madness contest entry (I didn't win either, lol)

Hope you like it, it was my first time using the Amberley Grace paper collection, the Label Lingo (level D), the Spanish Sentiment set (of course) and the Bind it All! I have to say that if I do it again, I will add some ribbons to the wires and maybe a flower or some buttons on the label, it looks kind of plain, lol!! What's your thoughts?

Les prometo que será un mensaje corto, estoy terminando los preparativos para un FUNshop mañana, estaremos disfrutando preparando tarjetas de Navidad (no olvides separar tu fecha con tiempo, si quieres que vaya a compartir con tus amigas en una demostración o FUNshop).

Quiero compartir contigo este proyecto que hice para uno de los concursos de TAC, no, no gané, pero me gusta mi proyecto y quiero compartirlo con ustedes, jeje! El tema era "Wedding Wonderful" y mi proyecto no decía nada de boda, PERO para mi era un tesoro de boda que puedes llevar en la cartera. Si, es un mini álbum que titulé Bendiciones y las páginas tienen espacio para colocar pequeñas fotos de los novios/esposos "Amor" y también para la "Familia". Para mí esos son dos temas super importantes en el día de la boda y por eso me enfoque en ellos! Este proyecto lo hice en menos de 20 minutos, pues lo hice mientras empacaba algunos catálogos y algunas ordenes y otro proyecto que envié para el Monogram Madness! (tampoco gané en esa categoría, jeje).

Espero les guste, fue la primera vez que usé la colección de papeles Amberley Grace y me encantó jugar con ella!! También use el Label Lingo (level D) y el set en español por supuesto, y la Bind it All. Debo añadir que si lo fuese a hacer otra vez, le añadiría algunas cintas en los alambres del encuadernado y talvez una flor o botones en el label, se ve un poco vacío, jeje ¿Qué piensas?

Do you like the Scor Pal?

I know you know that I love that tool soooo much, right? Oh well!! I used it everyday since I love to create boxes and packages stuff for everything! This is a project I did for the Design Call, yes another one!! I started with the Mini Album and then I decided to do a box to go with it and I took my Scor Pal and start playing! Don't you love the Scor Pal? If you are new to my blog be sure to check the Tutorials and Templates sections at the left side column!! I know you will find something that meet your needs! if not feel free to ask maybe I can help you with your project!

Anyway I have to say that the Scor Pal was the hit at the Craft Fair!! We did two makes and takes featuring the Scor Pal: a gift card holder and a mini basket! Oh there was woman and man wowing about it!! It was sooo cool!! I also had at the booth the July MC Club (that have a project featuring the Scor Pal too!) and everyone was asking if I can teach them how to do it!! Is a pretty nice project, I can tell you, lol, I really love it!! Anyway since I got such a great response for that kit (is the first time lots of people have the opportunity to see it and touch it!) I will be having some options to get the how to PDF, so be sure to suscribe to my newsletter because the information is going to be there!!

Si, se que sabes lo mucho que amo esa herramienta, verdad? Bueno, la uso todos los días porque me encanta crear cajitas y envolturas para TODO!! Este proyecto fue uno que hice para el Design Call, siii otro más! Empecé creando el álbum y luego decidí hacerle una caja para guardarlo, así que agarré mi Scor Pal y empecé a jugar! No te encanta la Scor Pal? Si eres nueva en mi blog asegúrate de buscar la sección de Tutoriales y Templates en la columna de la izquierda!! Se que habrá algo que te gustará y que te ayudará en lo que quieres hacer, si no, contáctame, talvez te puedo ayudar!

De todos modos quería compartir que la Scor Pal fue el éxito de la Feria de Manualidades!! Hicimos dos "makes and takes" donde usamos la Scor Pal: una tarjeta para una gift card y una canastita! Habían hombres y mujeres locos con ella!! Fue super divertido!! También, me llevé el MC Club de Julio para exhibirlo (y este también tiene un proyecto hecho con la Scor Pal también!) y todo el mundo loco con el proyecto, preguntando si lo ibamos a hacer!! Es un proyecto super cool!! se los aseguro, jeje! Realmente me encantó. Favorite Tools: A Review

This weekend I had a meeting and we was just talking plain scrapbooking! While we were talking about anything and everything I noticed my passion for two awesome tools: Scor Pal and Bind it All. I love everything I use and I don't buy anything I don't feel passion for it (well just sometimes, lol), but I want to talk about this tools because they are so versatile! I love to create boxes for everything and even when I had the Expression and the Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge, I love to do them with my Scor Pal, I love that I can just design it as I want to and I love to design them. I also love the embossing styles you can add to your cards! Is an amazing tool!! that you can buy with confidence and if you want to add something good to your inventory get one of this!

I am also a mini album lover so for me the Bind it All is a required tool! (DH bought the blue one for me and when the pink one came out, I sold the blue one (with DH permission, lol) just to get the PINK one! because I love pink!) I love the professional look that this tool add to my mini albums and needless to said that I do mini albums, mini note books, post it note holders, calendar and so much more including bind some projects for DH! I even use it to punch cardstock or paper to use in my cards, it gives a great look! is amazing how easy this tools works and how much I use them. Because you know that sometimes we buy tools that sit in our studios without been used once! I highly recommend the Bind it All.

Next time you have some spare money to invest in a NEW tool that you can use over and over, think about the Scor Pal and the BIA. Remember with TAC you can host a FUNshop, Catalog Party, be in one of my Hostess Clubs and get these at half price, ask me more! I will love to help you out.

April WOW Blogger!

I am soooooo happy to share with you this month WOW blogger! Her name is Deb Router. I met Deb through the Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers # 4, she is my sister and visiting her blog is so inspiring!! She is such a great artist! When I asked her if she will accept been my WOW blogger for April and she told me yes I was sooooooooo happ and now happier to feature her here! She is just a WOW blogger!

Here is a little bit about Deb! "I am a SAHM with 4 school age children, I live in the Scottish Highlands, a beautiful part of the world! I have crafted in some shape or form since I was a little girl. I have been stamping for about 5 years now and I mostly make cards although I have done a little scrapbooking and would love to do more if only I could find more time!"

Wednesday of Challenge

This mini album here was my Project for the Wingers DT on Paper Wings Angels Only Forum! It was a blast doing it! I enjoy it so much! it was done in an hour (including the pictures!) Is a really fun mini album! Can't wait to see your creation!

2 days 'til Christmas!

Hello All!! I finally sent all my christmas cards today!! Now working with gifts for christmas! This is one I did for my sister, is a coaster calendar/frame. She is a counselor and I think she can use it on her desk! There she can display a photo too, so she can have two gifts in one!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Wednesday again? Well this is a quick post to remind you about the PINK Challenge I'm having during October! You just need to create something PINK!

Project 2 from Project Day Class

Hello!!

Here is the second project we did at the Project Day class last Saturday! It was so much fun!! is a mini album with square coasters, we cover them with Kraft cardstock and embelish it with Penelope and some stamps (Give thanks, Linear Sentiments), a lot of paper piercing and the super duper Bind it all to put it together! Have I tell you how much I love my BIA?

Hope you like it and tomorrow I will share with you the NEW Fall in Love with Sydney Promotion that is going to be available from Sept 5- Sept 30. I can tell you is a great KIT!!!

Wednesday of Challenge!!

I told you the other day that I did some projects for the Wingers DT and I remembered that I haven't share with you my May's project!! yessssssss I can't share my projects for a 3 months period!! (at least now you can program future post in Blogger so now I need to do so with last week projects so I can share them wit you on December!!! lol) Sometimes I forgot to share with you! So finally is here! I did this project on April and I used some acetate sheets and for the covers I used the clamshells our stamps comes in!! I use the Bind it all to bind it and I love it soooo much!!

So my challenge to you is to make something CLEAR! you can do anything but use something clear! acrylic, acetate a clamshell, whatever you feel inspire to do and to use! Hope to see your creations soon!
