Wednesday of Challenge!

Today challenge is about Gift Cards!! Sometimes we just have no idea about what to give and we just get a Gift Card from a store we know they can get something they need, right? Well, how do you give these Gift Cards, just like that, or with the lil stuff the store give you (if they give you something, lol). Try to come up with something different for this years gift cards! Here is what I did and I am not a fan of Gift Cards, but just in case I need it! If you want to get the template and measures just write a comment here!

El reto de hoy es sobre Tarjetas de Regalo! En ocasiones no tenemos ni idea de que regalar y sencillamente compramos una Tarjeta de Regalo de alguna tienda en la cual sabemos la persona que la recibe puede comprar algo que le guste y/o necesita, cierto? (por ejemplo en nuestro caso una tienda de sb, jeje). Bueno, como entregas estas tarjetas? así nada más, o en lo que te dan en la tienda (si es que te dan algo, jeje). Trata algo nuevo, inventate algo difernete para entregar las tarjetas de este año! Esto fue lo que cree y no soy fanática de las Tarjetas de Regalo, pero solo por si la necesito! My card from Yesterday sketch!

Yes!!! It was a better day, not sunny but good to take a picture!! This is a really simple and easy card. I just used a scrap of A Little Whimsy pattern paper layered with one of my favorite cardstock colors (I am going to really miss this cardstock, lol!) and with my favorite cardstock color for the base! I love kraft because is a color that always said something, don't you think? Then on top of it, I add the black with withe dots ribbon wich looks alwasy so elegant! The green flower is from the Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, have I told you this was one of the items I got in my first order? I haven't use it, but yesterday I was looking for something and I FOUND THEM!! I was a happy girl! so here we go, I finished my card in less than 5 minutes to found out that I couldn't get a decent picture to post, lol!! But thanks GOD here it is!! Hope you like it!

Siii!!! Hoy fue un mejor día, no soleado, pero bueno para tomar una foto!! Esta es una tarjeta realmente simple y fácil de hacer. Simplemente use un pedazo de papel patrón del pad de papeles A Little Whimsy lo puse sobre un pedazo de cardstock de uno de mis colores favoritos!! (se que este es uno de los más que extrañaré, jeje) y por supuesto usé uno de mis colores favoritos para base de tarjetas! Me encanta el "Kraft" porque creo que es un color que siempre dice algo, no crees? Después, añadí la cinta negra con puntos blancos que luce siempre tan elegante! La flor verde es del Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, que fue uno de los productos que primero ordené pues LO NECESITABA!! y todavía no lo había usado, bueno no lo hubiese usado ayer tampoco si no fuese porque buscando otra cosa LO ENCONTRE!! sencillamente fui una chica feliz, jeje!! tan feliz que cuando no pude subir la foto traté de buscar una flor en mi programa y como no la encontré la hice con círculos sobrepuestos, jeje! pero tenía que tener una flor!! Esta tarjeta me tomó menos de 5 minutos y fui tan feliz para luego descubrir que no pude conseguir una foto decente que compartir con ustedes, jeje!! pero feliz pues la lluvia siempre es buena, nos recuerda la maravillosa creación de Dios!! Gracias a Dios que ya hoy está aquí la foto! Espero les guste.

Welcome SPRING!

Yes!! my girls was all day celebrating the Spring Season, lol! Even when in Puerto Rico looks the same! here is not snow! not cold temperatures! but THEY love the Spring theme!! so here is a quick and easy card I did to celebrate the Season! We also bake a Bread Pudding that my girls love! and like they said we love to do it but better than that we love to eat it!! yesss they are sugar babies!! and love to eat sugar! lol! well is there a kid that doesn't like sugar? lol!

6 days 'til Christmas a LONG day!

OUCH!!! Today was a really LONG day! We went out today with the idea of pay the cell phone bill (the one with the company we used to be for more than 7 years! and that we didn't have any contract now! for my surprise when I tried to pay on the authomatic machine it said that my balance was more than $700 so I called customer service and they said that my contract was until 2009! wich I'm sure isn't so I wait for 2 hours to be attended for a cs representative! she reminds of us (long story) so she just added a note in the system (because our account was cancelled, we switch company) so she couldn't do more than that, then she put me on the phone with the Financial dept! and the adjust me the account (well I need to wait 2 biz day to be sure of this) wow more than 3 hours there!! so our shopping trip was reduced now he left almost 4 hours later because we need to have lunch! we headed to another town wich is about an hour to go shopping (some outlets stores) we finished the shopping time around 6:30 and we came back home!

I cooked something quick and started working here on my workshop I cut about 6 of this project but I'm so tired!! that I just put together this 3!! Hope you like it, there are post-it note holders!! I did them with the scor-pal.

How to?

With a 7½ x 3½ cardstock, score at 3½ and 4. Then embelished as desire! Easy peasy!! right?

I need to run, I'm sooooooooo TIRED, the problem with the cell phone company just took a lot of my energy, the lady at customer service through the phone was soooooo NASTY!! that I was sooo UPSET!! lol, now I just can laugh about it!! Have a great weekend!

TAC entry and a winner!

Hey!! I forgot to told you something really cool! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO Happy!!!! Yesterday, TAC sent us the monthly newsletter! (and they have great promos for December, but that isn't the best for me) The best part of that newsletter (for me and one of my good friends!) is that my dear friend and downline Yarimar Rosa won a contest, she is a very special friend for me and SOOOO TALENTED!! The project is AWESOME! is very beautiful, you need to check it out, go here to get inspire and then check also the other contest winners, everything is gorgeous!!

The cards here was one submission that I sent but it wasn't a winner, lol!! I used Willoughby, Simply Divine (from Mabelle's line) and Tag Tidbits stamps sets!

Some purses with punches and the Scor Pal!!

Today was a long day!! for me, so I will love to share something cute I did a while back about fourth months ago!! this was for the Paper Wings Forum! I did this with the Scor Pal and the Scalloped Punches (squares and circles!) they are a lot of fun to make if you need instruction I can post it later, since I need to look for the file where I wrote them!

Wednesday of Challenge!!

Yeahhhhhhhhh another Wednesday and another challenge, last week we was working with MINIS!! and this week we will work with SQUARES!! yesssssssss I did a Square card to finish my project, is the card my friend is going to use for her secretaries gifts! Well so I decide that it can be a great challenge! I love square cards!! they looks so elegant!

I will work with another one later this week, I hope, but for now here is the one I did today!

The complete project is here!

Wowza!! I finished, I can't beleive it, but I did it, lol! This is the complete project I was working on it. It is like a stationary kit with a set of Mini Cards, a set of Full Cards, a Note Holder, a Mini Album in a tin all this in a purse bag done with the Scor Pal!! plus a Brown Sugar cologne from Beauti Control! what else do they need? lol. As you see I did 3 kits! I regreat from not doing another one for ME!! But I hope I can make another one just to keep it! It have to be later because now I need to work with my next workshop! An 8 X 8 album for MOM! using the Mimi Collection if you are in Puerto Rico and will want to be part of this e-mail me to get you on the list, I just have a few spots! Price is $35 and includes all the materials for the Album (20 layouts plus album), a card, a project with coasters, make and take, plus more!! A little something!

This is a set of Mini Cards I am working for a custom order I got. I decide to work this little set using the Pretty Posies set adding some flowers (in different colors) from Floral Labels and the sayings are from Tag Tidbits, all from TAC! I did 3 sets of this cutie cards!! I will share more of this project with you this week!

I did it!!

I worked again with Miss Moxie!! I love this paper collection is so much fun! When I look at it I just think on YUMMO fruits!! (Mangos, Acerolas, Bananas, Pineaple!!) ohhhhh I want a tropical fruit salad NOW!!

Mini Open House Treats

Hey!! I am going to bed early today so I need to do this now! lol. Here are the treats we did today! A mini box with Robin Egss inside (using the Scor Pal), a Marshmallow Pie (using the punches) and a card (using Spring Time!, yes the one I share with you the other day). We have fun and it was really quick all the projects and the best part is sharing with others what I love! When I was finishing a great friend arrived and she was so excited about what we did! she wants to hire me for some presents!! She is not a scrapbooker and as she said I have almost NO photos in my house!! can you beleive that?

Today is for ME!!

Yessssss, today is my birthday!! I have FUN! Since I am still with the cast on my foot my DH brings me my favorite food from my favorite Restaurant!! It was really YUMMYYY, plus the CAKE!! It was really nice family time, since my stepdaughter was here too! What a great time!!
