Saturday Spotlight!

Today I just want to use more of my Catelynne paper, yes!! Just a short post because I feel a bit sick, headache, muscle pain and I really want to go to sleep, but today is cleaning day, lol! BUT I am soo excited to play with this lovely palette! that I have to do something, lol. Since I didn't have a lot of time, I took one of my already color images and did this quick card! My spotlight is to use different pattern paper and some embelishments, nothing fancy, just a quick card to get your mojo back!

Hoy sólo quería usar más de mi papel Catelynne, sí! Sólo un breve post, porque me siento un poco enferma con dolor de cabeza, dolor muscular y tengo muchas ganas de ir a dormir, pero hoy es día de limpieza, jiji! Pero estoy taaan emocionada de jugar con esta paleta de colores tan preciosa! que tengo que hacer algo, jajaja. Como no tenía mucho tiempo, tomé una de mis imágenes que tenía coloreadas e hice esta tarjeta rapidito! Mi "spotlight" es el uso de papel de patrones diferentes y solo un embelishments, nada "fancy", sólo una tarjeta rápida para ver si me ánimo de nuevo!

My inspiration is coming back!! kind of...

WOW! The other day I received an envelope with lots of Catelynne paper!! I found out that I gave away all my Catelynne paper back in Puerto Rico and now I can't order anymore!! So one amazing angel sent me some paper to play! I can tell you I got inspire quickly and here a card I did!

I also got some stamps I had in the garage (the discontinued ones, I haven't touch in a long time, lol) so here it is! It's not a master piece instead a quick card to start getting use to it, lol!

Hace unos días recibí un sobre con muchos papeles de la colección Catelynne! cuando TAC anunció su cierre me di cuenta que había regalado todo mi papel de esa colección y ahora no lo puedo ordenar, arghhh!! Gracias a Dios una muy querida amiga/angel! me envió muchos para poder jugar! De verlos nada más me inspiré a hacer algo y aquí la tarjetita que hice!

Como había subido del garage algunos de los sellos descontinuados decidí usar de esos, jeje, pues hacía tiempo que no los usaba!! No es una obra de arte, pero el comienzo a lo que me llega toda la inspiración, jeje!

I think this is the Last...

Not, my last post of course, I know I have been MIA but I sure LOVE to share with you all at least through my blog! what I want to say is that I think this is the last Mother's Day card I am going to be doing for now! but hey I can't be sure about that yet, lol!

The other day I got an E for my BFF and of course I have to check is everything was okay before I send it to her (since she is in PR yet... praying that someday she and her family can move closer to me!) I did this cut and I have to use it! I decided that I NEED TO STAMP something!! and I got my stamps and inks to get the feeling, I miss my system back home, I used to have my stamps in a cd carrousel but here I have them in boxes! I have to deal with that soon and memorize where are them in the boxes, I knew where it was each one of my stamps (and I have a LOT!) so back to the card, lol! sometimes I get distracted, you know! I stamped some polka dots (you know how much I L♥V dots, right?) with my Claret ink and I think this card turned out cute!! What do you think?

PS I am entering this card to the Fantabolous Cricut Challenge!!! I decided to check for challenges to get my inspiration back, wohooo!!!

No mi último post aquí, se que he estado un poco perdida, pero me encanta poder compartir con ustedes aunque sea por aquí!! Lo que quería decir es que creo que esta es la última tarjeta de las Madres de este año, jijiji, aunque no lo puedo asegurar, tengo miles de ideas en mi cabeza!!

Hace unos días mi BFF me pidió que le consiguiera una E y tenía que probarla pues tengo que enviarsela a PR (siii, ella todavía está allá, pero sigo orando para que algún día ella y su familia estén acá cerca de nosotros!!), hice este corte y por supuesto que tenía que usarlo, jijiji!! Decidí que también era hora ya de USAR MIS STAMPS!!! y eso hice! Es que no me acostumbro a mi nuevo sistema, allá en PR los tenía en un carrusel para CD's, acá los tengo en cajas, allá sabía exactamente donde estaba cada uno de mis stamps (y mira que tengo muchos!!!) NO ME ACOSTUMBRO!!! pero se que necesito bregar y memorizarme donde están ahora! eso no será tan difícil!!! eso espero, jijijiji! Bueno de vuelta a la tarjeta, arghhh!! ustedes saben que me distraigo con facilidad!!! Busqué y busqué hasta que encontré mi sello de puntos!! me imagino que ya saben que AM♥ los puntos, verdad?, la tinta claret y tan tan! Creo que me quedó bonita, qué crees?

Time flies!

I have received a couple of messages and even when the challenge was supposed to end first by Sunday, then yesterday and Sony almost kill me, lol (a joke!) I am announcing another extension! Check the post and see that you have a lil bit more of time!

I haven't been around for a while, I know! but trust me it's not because I want to, I will tell you more later, but we have been doing a couple of stuff in the house (landscaping, re-doing the front and taking care of other things as well) so I haven't touch anything here, well yesterday night I took a break and I colored two images that you will soon around (specially if you are suscribe to my newsletter!**wink**). Talking about the newsletter, this card was one I did for the last newsletter but I didn't use it there, so I am sharing here with you! I used some of the sequins that come in the new Gems kit! Simple and sparkling! I also used one of the PWP that you can order for only $2.95 with a $30 order and the heart is from I heart you set! The paper collection is Catelynne and you can see the outside and inside of the card.

I have to run I need to take a bath and go to sleep, tomorrow will be another busy day!

He recibido algunos mensajes sobre el challenge y aunque se suponía fuese para el domingo pasado, luego para ayer! (Sony casi me mata por extenderlo, jeje! relajando!) Verifica el post para que veas hasta cuando tienes!

Se que no he estado por ahi ultimamente, pero creeme que no es por gusto! He estado haciendo algunas mejoras en la casa y ha sido extenuante! no he tocado nada, bueno ayer si toqué dos imagenes que las verás proximamente (especialmente si estás suscrita a mi newsletter, jeje!). Hablando de newsletter, esta tarjeta la hice para el newsletter pasado, pero como no la incluí allá decidí compartirla con ustedes. Usé papel de Catelynne, un PWP que puedes comprar por tan solo $2.95, las lentejuelas de la cajita de Pearls y Gems. Como puedes ver hice la parte de adentro también donde usé el corazón de I heart you! Sencilla y brillante!

Bueno ya me voy, tengo que darme un baño para acostarme, mañana será otro día super ajetreado!

I am sooo happy!!

Yes!! I never thought that have a Candy was that fun and I can tell you this wasn't my first candy, but this time I received a lot of encouragement and a lot of excitement from you! and that is something really cool! (I am just brainstorming ideas for the next one, or maybe once a month?, lol, just looking for something really cool to share with you!).

Here is a "sweet" card that I want to share with you in Celebration of the Blog Candy winner and the Stamped Images winners!!! The image I used here is from one of the new sets called: Sugar Coated Sweetness and I used my Copic Markers to color in! The papers are from Catelynne paper collection wich is now at a new price from $10.95 to $8.95 for a pack of 11 cardstock pages (9 X 9) and also includes a tabs and tags embelishement page! Really beautiful and stylish!

Here Kitty, Kitty!

As I told you yesterday, here my kitty, kitty card! Is she CUTE or what? I have been waiting to play with this image, that I colored with my Copics, for sooo long and finally I did a card with it!! Since she is a cutie kitty I have to use Catelynne paper! I love Catelynne sooo much! It's just girly, girly, but kind of sweet girly! you know what I mean? oh, well it's just soooo like my daughters. They were here when I was doing it and they were REALLY excited with it! and then they looked at our kitty and told her, don't worry Flores you are cuter than her, lol!

I decided to use the nestabilities Labels One because I have a couple already cut to use and this one was perfect for this card! The sentiment stamp here is from one of the current Level C Hostess Sets called Thinking of you! I love that set! (it's the same I used on yesterday's card!) and the kitty here is from a past promotion, but it's sooo cute that I have to use it! I hope you like it as much as I do!! Now to think where she should go!

Como les dije ayer, aquí mi tarjeta con la gatita! te gusta esta linda gatita? He estado esperando para jugar con esta imagen, que colorie con mis Copics, por buen rato y, finalmente, hice una tarjeta con ella! Como ella es así tan cutie tenía que utilizar el papel Catelynne! Me encanta Catelynne! Es simplemente girly, girly, pero dulce girly! sabes lo que quiero decir? me entienden, verdad? jeje! Se parece a mis hijas, así como delicadita y a la vez juguetona y dulce! Ellas estaban aquí cuando la estaba haciendo y estaban muy contentas con el resultado! y luego miraron a nuestra gata y le dijeron, no te preocupes Flores tu eres más linda que ella, jeje!

Decidí usar los nestabilities Labels One porque tengo unos cuantos ya cortados y listos para usar y éste era perfecto para esta tarjeta! El stamp de frase que usé es de uno de los sets de anfitriona "Thinking of you" a mi me fascina este set! (es el mismo que usé en la tarjeta de ayer!) y la gatita es de una promoción pasada, pero es tan bellaaaa que tenía que usarla!! Espero que les guste tanto como a mí! Ahora a pensar a donde debe ir esta linda gatita!

A sneak peek of a Baby Gift!

Tomorrow I am going to a baby shower of a very good friend! I was soooo happy when she called me to let me know that she was pregnant! do you remember? I posted here the card I did for her!! and tomorrow is her baby shower so I did a lil something for her baby's room. The Princess Idea was from my oldest daughter! I thought about the name and that I want to add a lil princess like the one I used for the card I shared yesterday! and since that one was too big! I found another one, but anyway I need an extra block for the princess and my daughter suggested me to stamp princess! she is sooo creative! She was the one that cut the letters using the gypsy! (BTW gypsy is a lil machine that you can design on to use with the cricut, I will try to explain better later, it's late and I need to run, lol) I just noticed I need to add a lil bit of stickles, lol!!

Anyway, hope you like what you see and I hope my dear friend like it as well!! I used Catelynne paper collection, Fairytale Fun stamp set, All about a girl stamp set (retired), gypsy, cricut E and Storybook cart!

Mañana voy a un baby shower de una gran amiga! Me acuerdo lo feliz que me puse cuando me llamó para decirme que estaba embarazada! ¿se acuerdan? compartí aquí la tarjeta que hice para ella!! y mañana es su baby shower!! así que le hice un detallito para la habitación de su bebé. La idea de la palabra princesa es de mi hija! Pensé en hacerlo con el nombre de la bebé y quería añadirle una princesita como la que usé para la tarjeta que compartí ayer! y como esa era demasiado grande! encontré otra, pero de todas maneras necesitaba un bloque adicional para la princesa y mi hija me sugirió que dijera princesa y el nombre de la beba! Mi hija es tannnn creativa, jeje!! Ella fue la que trabajo las letras con la gitana "gypsy"! (BTW gypsy es una máquinita portatil de Provo Craft con la que puedes diseñar usando los cartridges de la cricut y luego la conectas y cortas! voy a tratar de explicar mejor más tarde, es tarde y tengo que irme, jeje) Me di cuenta que necesito añadir un poco de Stickles a la princesa, jeje!!

De todos modos, espero que te guste lo que ves y espero que a mi querida amiga le guste también! Usé la colección de papel Catelynne, Fairtytale Fun stamp, All about a girl stamp set (retirado), la gitana "gypsy", cricut E y el cartridge "Storybook"

Your Friendship card...

I was sooo waiting to play with this stamp. It's our NEW Level C hostess set!! It wasn't what I have in mind, but I love how this turn out, and is funny because now I need to do a couple of them! at least using this same sentiments since soon we are going to celebrate Love/Friendship Day! I want to send some cards to some really great friends I have, those that are there when you need them! Sometimes we have lots of friends, but when you need someone side by side with you, there is not that many! In my case I have a bunch! and I give thanks to God for that!! For giving me such caring friends!! I am really bless. I did the inside of this card as well, pretty simple but full of love!

Estaba ansiosa esperando para jugar con este sello. Es nuestro nuevo nivel C para anfitrionas! No era lo que tenía en mente, pero me encantó el resultado, y es curioso porque ahora tengo que hacer un par de ellas! al menos usando estos mismos sentimientos ya que pronto vamos a celebrar el Día del Amor/ la Amistad! Quiero enviar algunas tarjetas a algunas amigas super especiales, como esas que están ahí cuando las necesitas, siempre dispuestas a ayudarte! A veces tenemos muchos amigos, pero cuando necesitas que estén contigo ahí dandóte la mano, no quedan muchos! En mi caso, tengo muchas personas que siempre están ahí para mi! y por eso doy gracias a Dios!! Por darme amigas tan amorosas y atentas!! Estoy realmente bendecida. También, hice el interior de esta tarjeta, bastante sencilla, pero llena de amor!

Wednesday of Challenge: Count your Blessing!

Sometimes when we count our blessings we don't count the things we have in front of us, because we tend to overlook so much, lot of people think about material stuff, rather than the people! Those who are besides you all the time your family and your friends. I give thanks to God everyday for them and to my family every day and every time I can. So I want to take this time to give thanks to all my stamping/angels/online friends! It's fabulous that we can chat, visit and have fun even when we are so faraway from each other? I think that I visit with you more often than with my friends here in Puerto Rico! Isn't that ironic? Well this scrapbook page I did the other night is about some FABULOUS ladies that fill my life with joy! I don't see them frequently, in fact I have visit with them just 2 times in my life, but it feels like I know them forever, anytime I call them, they always have a good word to say! and that is a blessing!

This awesome ladies are TAC's Customer Service and you know that CS is a difficult work! (I know because I worked at CS while I was at the University studying my bachelor) but this ladies are just Sweet as Candy!! They always answer the phone with a smile (no I don't have cameras there, lol, but you know what I mean). I want to take this time to celebrate them and to share with you about them and to give thanks for them! I count them as a blessing in my life!

Your challenge for you this week is to do something to celebrate your blessings! and most important let others know that you count them as your blessings, in this time we forget about letting others know how important they are, or how much we love them, sometimes we wait until is too late! A veces, cuando contamos nuestras bendiciones no contamos las cosas que tenemos frente a nosotros, porque tendemos a pasar por alto tantas cosas que son valiosas, mucha gente piensa solo en cosas materiales, en lugar de personas! Aquellos que están a tu lado en todo momento, tu familia y tus amistades. Todos los días le doy gracias a Dios por todos ellos. A mi familia todos los días y todas las veces que pueda. Por eso quiero aprovechar este momento para dar gracias a todas mis amigas stampers/scrapbookers/ángeles y todas mis amigas que conozco a través de la internet! Es fabuloso que podamos charlar, visitarnos y divertirnos, incluso cuando estamos tan lejos unas de las otras? Creo que comparto con ustedes con más frecuencia que con mis amigas aquí en Puerto Rico! ¿No es irónico? Bueno esta página del "scrapbook", que hice la otra noche, se trata de unas mujeres FABULOSAS que llenan mi vida de mucha alegría! No las veo con frecuencia, de hecho solo he compartido en persona con ellas 2 veces en mi vida, pero siento como si las conozco, de siempre, en cualquier momento que las llamo, siempre tienen una buena palabra que decir! y eso es una bendición!

Estas chicas son el Servicio al Cliente de TAC y debes saber que trabajar en SC es un trabajo difícil! (Lo sé porque trabajé en SC, mientras yo estaba en la universidad estudiando mi bachillerato), pero ellas son dulces! Siempre contestan el teléfono con una sonrisa (no, yo no tengo cámara allá, jeje, pero ya sabes a qué me refiero). Quiero aprovechar esta ocasión para celebrarlas y compartir con ustedes acerca de ellas y para dar gracias por ellas! Las cuento a ellas como una bendición en mi vida!

Tu reto para esta semana es hacer algo para celebrar tus bendiciones! y más importante que sepan que usted los cuenta entre sus bendiciones. En estos tiempos modernos, muchas veces nos olvidamos de decirles a los demás lo importante que son, o lo mucho que los amamos, a veces esperamos hasta que sea demasiado tarde! A Little Bit about Memory Crafter Club

I received a couple of questions about the MC Club and I thought is was a good idea to share with you here too!! MC Club or "MCC" is the Memory Crafter Club.

What is the MCC? is a Project Monthly Kit I start doing in January.

What is there included? I send enough products to do at least 3 projects (it could be a mini album, a card, a mini cards set, tags, wall hanging project, and much more!) and a PDF document send to you by e-mail with the instructions and pictures of the projects.

What date the kit is mail? The kit is out the 25th of each month! I really love this club so the people is suscribed to it! ALL the 3 month suscribers renewed for another 3 months, so that said something, right? I am not going to share instructions here since is an EXCLUSIVE club, but I am going to share today what was included on the Second Edtion!

The club is only $24.95/ 3 months and that includes shipping to USA and PR. If you are interested, just sent me an e-mail with your paypal address and I will send you an invoice. Happy Mother's Day for you!

Wishing you a great day today!! Celebrating with your family and hope you can get a little time to scrap as well!! I can tell you I have a great one, DH and my girls did breakfast for me and it was yummoo!!! Then we went to church and to MIL house! and we had a great time there too! Now back home sharing this last minute card with you! I used Catelynne Paper Collection and Trendy Greetings.

Another Gift Idea for MOM!

Today was a super busy day! We went out early in the morning! and arrived early in the evening! that's a lot of time because it wasn't the plan. BuT we have an incredible family time and the girls had fun!!

I came to my workshop early in the night! and here is what I came up with! I have a bunch of CD cases that don't fit in my CD towers where I have my stamps! so I need to do something with them, right? Here is what I did!! a Desktop Frame! I love how easy was to do this!! and it looks pretty cool! is a inexpensive, quick and easy gift idea that you can use over and over for any ocassion, I love when I can do something like this. Hope you enjoy it!

I used the Catelynne Paper Collection, Pink, Kraft and Brown cardstock and the tag is from the Mimi Collection, I need to use those tags that comes with our paper! I Know that some people have a hard time using them, but I am in LOVE with those tags!! I need to do some more of the mini cards using them! is so fun and so sweet! check them out here!

NSD - No time to Scrap?

Today we Celebrate the NSD! "National Scrapbooking Day" and one of the things I heard a lot is that "I have no time to Scrap" and when I talked about Stamping to the Scrapbookers is that they don't want to incorporate Stamping into Scrapbooking most of the time because they "are scare". So today I challenge myself to get some time for me and work with some AMAZING pictures I have in a box! Yes, that's me!! lol! I don't have a lot of pictures of me (unless from Seminar, lol) so I picked a bunch of this cute pictures and I sure have fun!

Today, in honor of the NSD! I challenge myself to NOT work with cards today! I don't know if you know, but I start this journey as a Scrapbookers, when I discovered STAMPING! I start making cards and altered stuff! but now I am RE-discovering my passion for using stamps in my scrapbooks again!

I started with something simple for those Stampers that are not yet into scrapbooking and here is the result. A simple page with just a word in stamps. I use Mimi paper collection because I LOVE IT! and because you know something? I love that picture, lol! I was a little cute baby (sadly I can't say that anymore, lol).

Then I decide to keep my pattern paper and add a little bit of stamping what you think? Yes, that's me again (I started looking not so good! lol) with my dear grandma that is with God! I sure miss her! (she died when I was 19) I used to be with her most of the time and it was really sad for me! Anyway not sad stuff today! For this layout I just mount some pattern paper, yep! Catelynne with brown cardstock and I did some piercing in the green cardstock! to add a little bit of stamping I stamped some swirls from the Swirlies set! just as a touch of sweetness!


Since I was thinking about my grandma I picked this picture of her! it match so good with Penelope paper collection that I went to get some scrap pieces! I didn't want to just use the Pattern Paper I want to do some background effect to the Kraft cardstock! I grab my Script Background stamp and stamp it all over the Kraft cardstock! then I just mount the pieces together and finish the layout with a tag from the collection and FLOWERS! you can't go wrong with some flowers, right?

Finally! yes, I am soooo tired! (I did all this stuff while I cooked, did some loads of laundry, answer e-mail and checked the forums and groups, and everything in between! and I spent all morning playing with the girls! and in the afternoon we start learning Latin!) I am using ONLY cardstock to do this layout! I love how using cardstock only, you get the simplicity this old pictures needs! This is me with my cousin Mariela! I just added the Running Stitches stamp (since I don't have a sewing machine yet)and a Scalloped border using my scallop scissors.

Hope you enjoy this ideas! and get to do some scrapbooking, remember Scrapbooking is not about Fancy/Gorgeous pages! is about preserving the treasures of your heart, is about get them in a safe place and out of those boxes! Don't be afraid to get them done in a simply way, don't get scare to incorporate stamps on your layouts! is simple, is cool!! (start stamping in scrap papers! and then try to do some basic stamping!). Have fun and get those pictures out of the box!

Did you forget something?

Oh, well!! I did and I feel terrible. I tried to remember everything, and I used to do so, but I guess I can't do that anymore! What do I forget? To send a card!! I will love to have all dates in my mind and that something sound whenever I need to send a card (about 3 days before?). But that's not happening! I need to be more organized. What system do you use? What works for you? I really need something! I am going to try to add everything to my Palm and that way I can get an alert! That sounds cool; the problem now is to get everything together to add it there, lol! Should I put an announcement here, on Twitter, Facebook and my yahoo groups asking for birthday’s date to all my friends? That way I can add them right away, right? Please give me some advice! I need to work this out so I don’t miss anyone’s important dates!

Some bunnies want to see you!

WOW! what a week, at least tomorrow is Friday! (talking about Friday don't forget to come an see what I do with the Kit Jany sent me! check last Friday post here). Anyway, I have to tell you that I forgot to charge the camera so no picture for the Wednesday of Challenge yet! I am sorry!

At least, I have this card that I made about a month ago and I haven't share it with you, so here it is! I love this set so much! is so cool that you can create with it for every ocassion! Is the Celebrate the Seasons set. I cut the bunnies faces and then punch circles to create the boddy. I use Catelynne papers and the blossoms and buttons are from the Embelishment jars. I am not a big fan of paper piecing, not that I don't like it, just that I am kind of lazy to do it, lol!

Isn't this girl just cute?

I love Mabelle Favorites set! but this cute little girl is just to die for. She looks so sweet, so sassy! that I need to work with it! I used the Catelynne collection because it looks so her! Do you like it? I hope so because I really have fun with it!! lol!

Hapiness...

Oh!! I can tell you that I am happy! Happy to have Jesus in my life, happy to have a family, happy to have the best hubby on earth!, happy to have 2 beautiful and healthy daughters!, happy to have you in my life! and I can keep going with my list! don't you? Well today I did this card without having anything on mind, just to use this lovely color combo and A kind of gratitude set. Hope you like it! The card is 3 X 6, I am having fun with this size and loving it, I haven't done anything on this size for a long time!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Is anything but a card time!! I was thinking to do a scrapbook page today, but I didn't find a non family photo to use so I did this wall project! I need to add the eyelets and ribbon and is done. I have lots to do and you know I am a big fan of Criminal Minds and Damages so is TV time today, lol!! I may change the Challenge day! lol!

Anyway I used the new Scallop cardstocks on the Magalogue, Catelynne paper, the Embelishment Jars and No place like home set. Is pretty easy and quick, I just need to feel that I did something, right? Don't forget to do anything but a card and post a comment here with your creation. I am going to start featuring an Amazing Follower's Project of the month! and you may want to be feature right? so send me your project with any of the Challenge entries and you may be on the spot soon!

February Angel Art Challenge: Friendship!

Do you know that February is National Friendship month? The challenge this month was to create a "friendship" project since it is National Friendship Month. I decided to do a lil treat for a Special Friend. Yes, I want to use some NEW stamps from the Magalogue! That Memo Fun Set catch my eyes since the first moment! and the sentiment is from the Feline Fabulous Setwich you already know I love it! The paper is from Catelynne one of my favorites collections those colors are sooooooooooo yummy! Inside of this lil treat are some Lemon "yummy" cookies I baked yesterday with the girls! We have a great time doing Lemon cookies and "Polvorones", I have to tell you that the best time was eating them!! lol!
