A sneak peek of a Baby Gift!

Tomorrow I am going to a baby shower of a very good friend! I was soooo happy when she called me to let me know that she was pregnant! do you remember? I posted here the card I did for her!! and tomorrow is her baby shower so I did a lil something for her baby's room. The Princess Idea was from my oldest daughter! I thought about the name and that I want to add a lil princess like the one I used for the card I shared yesterday! and since that one was too big! I found another one, but anyway I need an extra block for the princess and my daughter suggested me to stamp princess! she is sooo creative! She was the one that cut the letters using the gypsy! (BTW gypsy is a lil machine that you can design on to use with the cricut, I will try to explain better later, it's late and I need to run, lol) I just noticed I need to add a lil bit of stickles, lol!!

Anyway, hope you like what you see and I hope my dear friend like it as well!! I used Catelynne paper collection, Fairytale Fun stamp set, All about a girl stamp set (retired), gypsy, cricut E and Storybook cart!

Mañana voy a un baby shower de una gran amiga! Me acuerdo lo feliz que me puse cuando me llamó para decirme que estaba embarazada! ¿se acuerdan? compartí aquí la tarjeta que hice para ella!! y mañana es su baby shower!! así que le hice un detallito para la habitación de su bebé. La idea de la palabra princesa es de mi hija! Pensé en hacerlo con el nombre de la bebé y quería añadirle una princesita como la que usé para la tarjeta que compartí ayer! y como esa era demasiado grande! encontré otra, pero de todas maneras necesitaba un bloque adicional para la princesa y mi hija me sugirió que dijera princesa y el nombre de la beba! Mi hija es tannnn creativa, jeje!! Ella fue la que trabajo las letras con la gitana "gypsy"! (BTW gypsy es una máquinita portatil de Provo Craft con la que puedes diseñar usando los cartridges de la cricut y luego la conectas y cortas! voy a tratar de explicar mejor más tarde, es tarde y tengo que irme, jeje) Me di cuenta que necesito añadir un poco de Stickles a la princesa, jeje!!

De todos modos, espero que te guste lo que ves y espero que a mi querida amiga le guste también! Usé la colección de papel Catelynne, Fairtytale Fun stamp, All about a girl stamp set (retirado), la gitana "gypsy", cricut E y el cartridge "Storybook"

Wednesday of Challenge!

Today challenge is about Gift Cards!! Sometimes we just have no idea about what to give and we just get a Gift Card from a store we know they can get something they need, right? Well, how do you give these Gift Cards, just like that, or with the lil stuff the store give you (if they give you something, lol). Try to come up with something different for this years gift cards! Here is what I did and I am not a fan of Gift Cards, but just in case I need it! If you want to get the template and measures just write a comment here!

El reto de hoy es sobre Tarjetas de Regalo! En ocasiones no tenemos ni idea de que regalar y sencillamente compramos una Tarjeta de Regalo de alguna tienda en la cual sabemos la persona que la recibe puede comprar algo que le guste y/o necesita, cierto? (por ejemplo en nuestro caso una tienda de sb, jeje). Bueno, como entregas estas tarjetas? así nada más, o en lo que te dan en la tienda (si es que te dan algo, jeje). Trata algo nuevo, inventate algo difernete para entregar las tarjetas de este año! Esto fue lo que cree y no soy fanática de las Tarjetas de Regalo, pero solo por si la necesito! A gift for this Season!

As I told you yesterday, here a picture of the cookies leftover! They were a real hit and I hope you try them. I want to share with you an easy way to pack your cookies to give as a gift during this Season. Is so easy to attach a ribbon and a tag with a saying but it looks so cute that I know when you give this to anyone they will feel special.

Como les dije ayer, aquí una foto de las galletas que quedaron (bueno, al menos hasta ahora!). Definitivamente fueron un verdadero éxito y espero que prueben la receta, de seguro yo haré más. En vez de simplemente poner las galletas en un plato, quise compartir con ustedes una manera fácil de empacar sus galletas para dar como regalo durante esta temporada. Es tan fácil simplemente poner una cinta y una etiqueta con una frace, pero se ve super lindo. Se que cualquiera que las reciba se sentirá muy especial con el detalle.

Hablando de regalos, quiero contarles que pueden hacer un Registro de Regalos o Lista de Deseos conmigo. Sólo tiene que llenar este formulario y enviármelo a mi e-mail y luego me pondré en contacto con las personas a las que hayas anotado y así pueden escoger de lo que tú verdaderamente quieres o necesitas en lugar de comprar cosas que realmente no usarás! Esto es muy conveniente para ambos, pues muchas veces no sabemos que regalar y que fácil sería si tuviesemos una lista de lo que quieren, cierto? Do you like the Scor Pal?

I know you know that I love that tool soooo much, right? Oh well!! I used it everyday since I love to create boxes and packages stuff for everything! This is a project I did for the Design Call, yes another one!! I started with the Mini Album and then I decided to do a box to go with it and I took my Scor Pal and start playing! Don't you love the Scor Pal? If you are new to my blog be sure to check the Tutorials and Templates sections at the left side column!! I know you will find something that meet your needs! if not feel free to ask maybe I can help you with your project!

Anyway I have to say that the Scor Pal was the hit at the Craft Fair!! We did two makes and takes featuring the Scor Pal: a gift card holder and a mini basket! Oh there was woman and man wowing about it!! It was sooo cool!! I also had at the booth the July MC Club (that have a project featuring the Scor Pal too!) and everyone was asking if I can teach them how to do it!! Is a pretty nice project, I can tell you, lol, I really love it!! Anyway since I got such a great response for that kit (is the first time lots of people have the opportunity to see it and touch it!) I will be having some options to get the how to PDF, so be sure to suscribe to my newsletter because the information is going to be there!!

Si, se que sabes lo mucho que amo esa herramienta, verdad? Bueno, la uso todos los días porque me encanta crear cajitas y envolturas para TODO!! Este proyecto fue uno que hice para el Design Call, siii otro más! Empecé creando el álbum y luego decidí hacerle una caja para guardarlo, así que agarré mi Scor Pal y empecé a jugar! No te encanta la Scor Pal? Si eres nueva en mi blog asegúrate de buscar la sección de Tutoriales y Templates en la columna de la izquierda!! Se que habrá algo que te gustará y que te ayudará en lo que quieres hacer, si no, contáctame, talvez te puedo ayudar!

De todos modos quería compartir que la Scor Pal fue el éxito de la Feria de Manualidades!! Hicimos dos "makes and takes" donde usamos la Scor Pal: una tarjeta para una gift card y una canastita! Habían hombres y mujeres locos con ella!! Fue super divertido!! También, me llevé el MC Club de Julio para exhibirlo (y este también tiene un proyecto hecho con la Scor Pal también!) y todo el mundo loco con el proyecto, preguntando si lo ibamos a hacer!! Es un proyecto super cool!! se los aseguro, jeje! Realmente me encantó. Como tuvo una gran acogida (es la primera vez que mi MC Club está expuesto al público en general y lo pudieron ver y tocar, jeje, ya que este kit es exclusivo) Estaré ofreciendo varias opciones para que puedan obtener el PDF de este kit, así que asegúrate de suscribirte a mi newsletter porque la información estará allí (esperalo mañana)!!
