Felt Flower Tutorial

Two cards same sketch!

I just want to share two others cards from Sunday! yes, I still have more to share, lol! This two I just used the same sketch for both and do them in less than 5 minutes! that was the challenge! Can you do it? just try it! I know you can make it!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Since I'm on the love, friendship mood! My challenge to you is create cards or anything with the Love and/or Friendship theme!! as you have seen! I did a lot of cards on Sunday (about 15)! I sent 7 on Monday! and I have 10 more to do! that I will do today! The ones here are part of the group I did on Sunday with my oldest girl that turns 9 tomorrow! For those who leave a comment about her work! she is waiting to turns 18 to sign up as an ANGEL! lol! so yes I will be without customers in 9 years! lol! Our challenge here was to take same papers and use whatever we found on our table!! The Valentine's one is her card and the Love one is my card! Pretty good, humm!! I like better her card, lol!

Well I have to run cause she is sick and wants to be okay to celebrate her birthday tomorrow!! she wants to eat cake, lol! So I will go and hug her and give her lots of love so she can feel better tomorrow!

A LOVE card! and more AWARDS!

Here is another card I did with my oldest girl on Sunday! this one was designed by her!! I just glue it together!! and add the scallop trip border! She have talent right? I will share more later!! she have more cards on my table!! and the lil one start doing the same! the bad thing about it is that they are taking my scrap papers that I have to create cards!!! but you know what I have tons of scraps so I will glue them tomorrow and share them with you! lol!

Wednesday of Challenge

I need to apologize because this is a lil late! but today was a busy day! My dear father have a dr's appointment today! today he is going to get the results from a biopsy to know if he have cancer, so we decided to be there with him! THANKS and PRAISE to God! he is fine!! so today we were out of here since early morning we have breakfast outside so we were out of here pretty early! and we came at mid evening! so I had to do some stuff and then I NEED to see the premiere of DAMAGES!! ohhhh that was good! do you see Damages? if noot check it out! the actors/actresses are just GREAT!!

Anyway onto the challenge! since is the first one of 2009 I want to do something pretty easy and since I didn't have so much time today! I took a card from my stash! this one was made for my FIRST attempt to get publish!! lol! NO, they didn't selected but I enjoy doing it!! so for this challenge I want to use a COLOR COMBO! I love the thing to work with color combos! so this is the color combo for today! RED, PINK, KRAFT, IVORY and BROWN! Hope to see your creations. With Love Day around the corner I think this color combo can make it easier for you do to Love cards!

3 days 'til Christmas!

Isn't exciting just 3 days to celebrate Jesus!! This is going to be a short post because I need to finish a couple of things before Christmas, yeah I'm late, how you guess? Well, I want to share 2 other designs I did for my friends this Christmas hope they like them!!

I used the Vintage Holiday paper (again, I love it), Silhouette Nativity, Joy of Christmas and Spanish Sentiment stamps sets, scallop and circle punch and yess!!! I got my hands in a Martha Stewart's punch!! wohooooo!! (is kind of hard punching with this! do you have that same issue?, please let me know!)and the felt flower cut with my sizzix!!

Sixth day of DECEMBER and a GC how to...

I'm not a big fan of Gift cards but since they are a good idea I just create this one from an 8½ X 11 cardstock (you can do 4 from an 8½ X 11 cardstock) is a quick and inexpensive idea right? and you can embelish as much as you desire and more personal. You don't have to use those standard that they comes with in some stores!

How to: (see pictures for details)

First cut a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 cardstock (the same size as a card front, cut half and then half again). On the 5 1/2 side score at 1" and 3 1/2. On the 4 1/4 side score at 2/3 each side (see picture for details). Cut the side that you don't need. Ad red line tape to close the sides and embelish as desire!

You've been on my mind!

Just a quick post since I have been feeling not so good lately! But I want to share this card with you(the picture is not that good) I did it for a friend! so is on his way!! I have been doing a lot of cards without pattern paper and I really love it!! but I did two cards with a lil bit of pattern paper I hope to share with you soon (light is not great here lately!)

I will chat a lil bit more later since my parents are here visiting and I need to spend all the time I can with them!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Another Wednesday!!! and the same challenge! lol! Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month I have the PINK challenge all month! so your challenge is to create something PINK! or with PINK! and share it with us! just add the link to any October's Wednesday Challenge post! and you will get the chance to win the Cards with the Tin I did here! Today my day was hard, since we have the Hurricane Warning! I kept working to be prepare for the worst scenario we can get! so I don't do much stamping today! but yes I do some, lol! I sent some stamps and stuff that I sold yesterday and I created a lil note to go with. I did take a photo but when I uploaded it wasn't great so I need to do one again to share with you! lol, but this card you see here! I did it today too, is for a friend (I can't tell you now because I want to surprise her!). Hope she likes it! and of course you too! I use some scraps on my table, the Linear Sentiments set, a Pink felt flower and the Spanish Sentiment set, lol! yes again!! I used some texture on it with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and the Corrugator.

WCMD 2008 - Projects' Pictures

Just a lil treat!

Yeah!!! Tomorrow is World Card Making Day! (WCMD) and of course I'm going to be celebrating it! I have a Card Making Day at my house!! using the Spanish Sentiment Stamp of course!! lol. So we are going to be doing 16 cards! (2 each of 8 designs) I did this lil treat to my hostess club members who order the Spanish Sentiment set but that didn't have the chance to come and play with me!

This is what I did: I put 10 white cards in this cute bag (I use the Cuttlebug Swiss dot folder to embelish it) and then add a ribbon with a felt flower and a scallop punch!! with the "para ti" phrase wich is "For you". Don't you like it? I love it!! and I know the Club Organizer just love it too!!

Talk to you tomorrow (I hope) I need to finish some details downstairs! I will love to share with you the sketches we are going to be working tomorrow!! (I designed them!! hope they like them, lol)

September is almost over!!

Wow, this month sure went fast!! With all the things I have on my life right now, I think time is just flying!!

Well, I need to work with that, right? Here is a simple card I did using the September SOTM wich is going to be available only until tomorrow! So if you like it contact me to orders yours!!

Wednesday of Challenge is BACK!!

Yessssss!!! I know you have missed it, but I was sooooo busy (I'm still busy) that I couldn't think about it. Thanks for all your messages about it, now is BACK!!

Here we are going to star with a DOUBLE challenge! yes, you had a nice vacations from me! lol!!

Here is a notebook I altered (for my Psychopathology class, yes I forgot to buy a notebook and my lil daughter gave me one that she got at Sunday School because it was for boys - a hotwheels notebook!). So the challenge is to alter anything!! and the DOUBLE part is that you should use FELT!! those flowers I did it with some felt and my Sizzix! so you can do the DOUBLE challenge or you can do one of them, anything goes!!

The reason of being MIA! (8 X 8 Album)

Wow!! I am soooooo sorry to be MIA for a whole week!! I've being working on my latest workshop (an 8 X 8 album with 20 layouts!!)

So as you can imagine work 20 layouts plus doing 25 kits (500 pages in total), it was really a lot of time! Thanks God I have a super special friend "Rosalyn" that helped me with this awesome project, she came to my house on Thursday to help me out plus she did the flowers for the Cover! YEAHHHHHHH she ROCKS!!!

Well here is the slide show (is the easier way to show this project, since is 21 pictures!) Hope you enjoy it as much as my friends and I did! It was such a great day; good friends, a great place and the bless of do what we LOVE!! I was in HIGH! another great thing about that day was that they finished the WHOLE album in less than 3 hours!!! I cut everything for them so they can finish in that time because I know how bad it is when you go to a workshop, pay for that and come back to house with an incomplete project!! that is soooooo wrong!!
