Saturday Spotlight!

Ooopss! I am late! I've been very busy lately and even when I have my "Spotlight" ready, I didn't have the time to upload it! Oh here I am "spotlighting" quick, clean, easy and simple cards. Sometimes we want to have always a master piece, but not always we have the time to do so! Those times when you need something quick, easy but still looks good, go with something classic. I love this stamp set called: "Victorian Elements" and yesterday I received my yellow "Dandelion" Memento ink that I was dreaming to stamp with, and here it is! I need two quick cards and that's what I am showing here! Hope you like it!

Lo siento, estoy super tarde hoy!! He estado super ocupada últimamente y aún cuando tenía ya el "Spotlight" listo, no había podido subirlo a la computadora. Hoy estoy "spotlighting" tarjetas rápidas, limpias, faciles y sencillas! Muchas veces queremos hacer siempre una obra maestra, pero no siempre tenemos el tiempo para hacerlo! En esas ocasiones, cuando necesitamos algo rápido y fácil, pero que se vea super, buscamos algo clásico! Me encanta este set: "Victorian Elements" por que es simplemente eso clásico y ayer me llegó mi tinta amarilla "Dandelion", de Memento, que estaba loca por usar, jeje y aquí está. Necesitaba dos tarjetas para ya y aquí estoy compartiendolas contigo! Espero te guste!

Ooppss!! I forgot this one..

I did this card at Seminar this year! It was Holly's class and it was the only project I finished entirely at Seminar (I ran out of adhesive, lol) so I have it on the container I bought to carry my stamps and yesterday I found it!

I love Holly's style, clean and simple, so here it is! Love that it's a quick and easy card to do for the boys!!! that are so difficult to do cards for! Hope you like it! BTW, the set is called: "Eye to See" a really versatile set for masculine cards!

Esta tarjeta la hice en el Seminario de este año!! Fue la clase que nos dio Holly y fue el único proyecto que terminé completamente allí (me quedé sin pega, jeje), así que la puse en la caja plástica que compré allá para cargar los sellos y ayer la encontré mientras recogía!

Me encanta el estilo de Holly, limpio y sencillo, así que aquí está! Me encanta que es una tarjeta fácil y rápida de hacer y es para chicos!!! que son tan difíciles las tarjetas para chicos, cierto? Espero te guste! BTW el set se llama "Eye to See" uno muy útil para tarjetas masculinas!

Just a quick post!

I don't feel too good yet, so this will be a quick post! This was one of the stamps that I got in my first order, since the first time I got the catalog on my hands I knew that I want it! I love the versatility of this kind of stamps. You can design your own papers, use it as a background for other projects, you can do quick cards and with just using different ink colors or the image you use you will get a total different look! Love it, love it! and you all know that I love dots!

Todavía no me siento del todo bien, así que será un post breve! Este es uno de los sets que pedí en mi primera orden de este catálogo! Desde el momento que lo vi sabía que lo quería, jeje!! Me encanta por la versatilidad que tiene esta clase de sellos. Lo puedes usar para diseñar tus propios papeles, usarlo de fondo para otros proyectos, hacer tarjetas rápidas y con solo cambiar el color de la tinta que usas o de la imagen puedes obtener un "look" totalmente diferente!! Me fascina, me encanta, jeje!! y por supuesto sabes que me encantan los puntos!

Hello my FRIENDS!

I am sooo happy to share with you a card I did recently with my girls, now that I don't have a ROOM for my stuff and that I have to work in the dinner table, my girls work with me ALL the time, lol!! Is a bit messy but is soooo MUCH FUN!

Here is an easy card I did since most of the time I am looking for the stuff my girls need for their projects, lol! (mom I need pink cardstock, mom the scissors, mom the create a critter cart, where are the embossing folders?)

Estoy super felizzzzz de poder compartir una tarjeta que hice recientemente con mis chicas, ahora que no tengo un CUARTO para mis cosas y que tengo que trabajar en la mesa del comedor, mis chicas trabajan conmigo TODO el tiempo, jijiji!! Es más revolú, pero es muchoooo mas divertido!

Aquí les comparto una tarjeta super fácil de hacer ya que la mayor parte del tiempo estoy buscando las cosas que mis chicas necesitan para sus proyectos, jeje (mami, cardstock rosa, mami el cart de create a critter, mami dónde están las tijeras? y los embossing folders?)

Solo necesito hacer más tarjetas para el Día de las Madres, está a la vuelta de la esquina, jijiji, que tengas una semana llena de bendiciones, les hablo pronto!

Another Masculine Card

Oh WOW!! Today was a super busy day! Yesterday I read a 268 pages book in one day and I complete one of my certifications. Today I woke up early to go to a business meeting and then I was tired to death, so I just put together this easy peasy card using an image from the Bears and Bubbles set that I had previously colored with my Copics, lol! Hope you like it! It can be use for Father's Day as well as birthday and almost everything! The paper I used is from the Reece Collection!

WOW! Hoy si que fue un día bien ocupado y largooooooooooooo!!! Ayer leí un libro de sobre 268 páginas y terminé una de las certificaciones que estoy haciendo! Hoy me levanté temprano para una reunión de negocios y estoy cansada a morir! Así que para despejarme antes de irme a la cama monté esta tarjeta sencillita usando una imagen del set Bears and Bubbles que ya había coloriado con los Copics, jeje! Espero les guste al igual que a mí. La hice genérica y así se puede usar para el Día de los Padres, para cumpleaños, o para casi cualquier evento! El papel de diseño es de la Colección Reece!

Bueno me despido pues necesito dormir ahora!!

For this easy and quick card I used a new set from the Serendipity called Awesome Blossoms and I used bright colors because that was the way she used to be a brightful person! and that's the way I want to remember her!

Just a Little More Love!

I know! I was MIA, I was so busy this past week and weekend that I needed to take a break from here. I just did this quick card to warm up, lol! But I was a lil crafty during the weekend, the girls, my lil niece, her mom and me did a LOT of felt hair clips on Saturday, we did have lots of fun for sure. I will share some later on. I need to check the pictures I was soo busy that I didn't take that much pictures, just of the cake, lol!

Hope you like this little love card! It was sooo easy since it's so simple. Just stamp, punch and glue it! I used the Uptown Girl paper pad, the Circle Sampler and I Heart You stamp sets! Easy peasy!

Lo sé! estaba perdida. Es que estuve super ocupada esta semana y durante el fin de semana tambien, que tuve que tomar un descanso aquí. Acabo de hacer esta tarjeta rápidita solo para calentar, jeje! Pero no crean estuve un tanto creativa durante el fin de semana, mis chicas, mi sobrinita, su mamá y yo hicimos muchas hebillitas en fieltro el sábado, nos divertimos en cantidad. Voy a compartir algunas más adelante. Necesito revisar las fotos pues estuve tan ocupadita que se me olvidó tomar muchas fotos, sólo retraté bastante el bizcocho, jeje, pues luego de la odisea (verifica mi facebook para enterarte, jeje!) tenía que tomar muchas fotos!

Espero que te guste esta tarjetita de amor! Fue super fácil de hacer, ya que es super sencilla. Sólo estampé, ponché y pegué! Usé la libretita de Uptown Girl, el "Circle Sampler" y el "I Heart You" stamp! fácil, fácil!

Need Ideas for your Christmas Cards?

I know that even when we try to start early almost all of us have issues with our Christmas cards. I know mine are always a bit late. Sometimes is that we need a lot of cards and sometimes there is other stuff to do first like other Christmas cards we need to do for others, lol! That is bad, and it's worst when you need to do a lot of them. Here is a quick and easy card you can do lots of them in a few hours (actually I did this one in les than 5 minutes, because I was practicing my coloring with the Copic Markers). So if you need to do 100 cards this is something you should look at!

Remember that when you need to do lots of the same card you need to do a step at a time instead of doing a card from start to finish. Start from stamping all your images, cut the scallop square and color them. Then cut your red cardstock and round the corner and last put everything together using an olive base card! That is it! unless you want to add some stickles (wich I know I will do!).

Hope you like the sample and it can help you get inspire and work in your Christmas cards today!

Sé que incluso cuando tratamos de comenzar temprano, en ocasiones estamos tarde con nuestras tarjetas de navidad. A veces es que necesitamos un montón de tarjetas y, a veces sencillamente hay otras cosas que hacer primero. Eso es malo, pero es peor cuando tienes que hacer un montón de tarjetas y estás contra el reloj. Por eso decidí compartir con ustedes esta tarjeta que es rápida y fácil de hacer y puedes hacer muchas en pocas horas (en realidad la hice en menos de 5 minutos). Así que si usted necesita hacer 100 tarjetas este modelo es algo que debes ver!

Recuerda que cuando tienes que hacer muchas de la misma tarjeta debes hacer un paso a la vez en lugar de hacer una tarjeta de principio a fin. Comienza con estampar todas las imágenes, cortar con el ponchador y colorear. A continuación, corte el cardstock rojo y redondee las esquinas y por último pega todo usando una tarjeta de base color oliva! Eso es todo! a menos que quiera añadir algunos Stickles (que por supuesto voy a hacer!).

Another Gift Idea for MOM!

Today was a super busy day! We went out early in the morning! and arrived early in the evening! that's a lot of time because it wasn't the plan. BuT we have an incredible family time and the girls had fun!!

I came to my workshop early in the night! and here is what I came up with! I have a bunch of CD cases that don't fit in my CD towers where I have my stamps! so I need to do something with them, right? Here is what I did!! a Desktop Frame! I love how easy was to do this!! and it looks pretty cool! is a inexpensive, quick and easy gift idea that you can use over and over for any ocassion, I love when I can do something like this. Hope you enjoy it!

I used the Catelynne Paper Collection, Pink, Kraft and Brown cardstock and the tag is from the Mimi Collection, I need to use those tags that comes with our paper! I Know that some people have a hard time using them, but I am in LOVE with those tags!! I need to do some more of the mini cards using them! is so fun and so sweet! check them out here!

Two cards same sketch!

I just want to share two others cards from Sunday! yes, I still have more to share, lol! This two I just used the same sketch for both and do them in less than 5 minutes! that was the challenge! Can you do it? just try it! I know you can make it!

5 days 'til Christmas

Finally we put the tree!!! wohoooooooo!! just on time, right? lol! Today I also sent my cards, another wohoooooooooo for me!! I have to do more cards! because I start doing my cards one by one specially designed for everyone on my list! but I couldn't make it!! so sorry!! today I did 16 mass production cards!! I was sooooooooo happy!! I just need to get some dear friend addresses and they are ready to go too!!

Here is one of the models I worked on today, I did 8 of this and 8 of another model I will show you tomorrow! all 16 in less than an hour! but I had the scallpos already cut out!! but assembly is the worst part for me!! so keep that in mind I was really fast, lol!

Second day of DECEMBER!!

Just a quick and easy card for today!! I love this rich coloros they just look gorgeous together, waht you think? My intention was to do a quick tag! so I cut a 3 X 3½ brown cardstock, I just have the tree from Holiday Cheer and the scallop circle on my table so I grab those to do it really quick! but when I rounded the corners I need to run so I just put it on my table and it was the kraft card there! when I came back I just look at this nice card sitting there! and I just glue it together and did another tag! lol! Now I have a tag and a card!!

Quick, Easy and PINK!

Yess!! I did miss to post it yesterday! and I have it! but I got one finger burned (isn't bad, but yesterday I was in PAIN!) so I forgot that I had this card to post!! Is a quick card I did and sent it to one of my SBSister from the Sisterhood!! I did another one and I completely forgot to take a picture!!

Well about the card I used two stamps from TAC: Friendship Strips and Celebration Time! it have NO patern paper! NO layers (except for the circle punch that I mount on 3D, does that count as a layer?, lol)and a lil bit of stickles!! I really love the versatility of this two sets!!

In case you want to know dr's appointment went well today, he said everything looks great and he send me to do some check ups! I haven't been there for three years!!! you know how much we try to avoid it, lol, well at least me!! He said to the nurse hurry up because she is going to ESCAPE! lol!

Are you a CSI fan? do you see the season premiere today? I love it, but I cry sooooo much! that I'm REALLY tired, lol!!

I love BOLD stamps!!

Don't you? I like to color stamped images, but sometimes you need to do something real quick and that is when I just LOVE BOLD stamps!! I got my inspiration from page 3 on the Spring/Summer 2008 Catalog, and created this quick card. I used Oh How set, wich I love!, Catelynne papers wich are one of my favorites collection, Cote D'Azure Palette ink (is just gorgeous) and of course Scallops!

I got my Giga Scalloped Square Punch!!

Hope you are doing great!! I have being really busy! but that's part of being a wife, a mother and a friend!!

Here is a card I did lately (I don't even remember exactly when it was!!) it was also for my physical therapist who is expecting! She is so happy! and I want to say Congrats!!

A super duper quick gift and card!!

Holly Molly!! I can not beleive that today was my last day at the Physical Therapy Center!! wohooooooooo!! but the therapist is awesome and I have nothing for her! I decided yesterday night to do a quick card for her but this morning I said, just a plain card? that was a NO, NO for me (if you know me you know that I love to give small gifts any time for no reason, just for the fun of seing a smile face!!) So I said I have some Beauti Control products here (yes I am a BC Girl, just for my products!! I love them!!) so I have some of one of my favorite products from BC the Herbal Serenity Foot Cream (if you have not try this, I just say go for this one is incredible!!) well I said yes I have the creme but now what!! so I keep doing my breakfast and start eating when I thought you have a Scor Pal you can make something quick!! (my appointment was at 9:30 and it was almost 9:00) so I finished my breakfast and came to my workshop and start doing something (my DH said: "aren't you late?, lol) so I start working quicker! and this is what I did!! I got the idea from Vicki, she did a project this week and I thought that I can adapt it to my foot cream bottle!! and I was right, lol, I love it and I know she loves it too!, she was very happy with her lil gift, you know I love to see people smiling!

3rd Week Challenge - Mini Album Tutorial

Quick as 1, 2, 3

Hello Friends! A lil note to share with you a set of mini cards using one of my Favorite Set! Floral Favorites! I just love this set. Is so versatil and easy to use, cause you only have to ink and you're done! if you just need a set to do simply and easy stamped cards, this is the set for that! I also use the Doodle Bugs set for the Hello word, that is another favorite!

Also I want to remember you to send your project's picture to me today! because tomorrow I am going to release the 3rd week Challenge!
