From Card to Crop!

Wohoooo!! I want to share with you that I won twice at the NSD event in Paper Wings! I did ALL the challenges! and I feel sooo good to have completed some Layouts! I haven't share with you (I don't know why?, lol) Anyway the challenge was to do a From Card to Crop wich is very simple, do a card and then with the same idea do a layout! I love how you can do a page from a card idea and how quick and easy this can be with a little bit of stamping fun! What you think?

National Scrapbooking Week!

This week at Paper Wings (an Angels Only Forum) we are celebrating NSD week!! and yesterday challenge was to do a Progressive Page!! here is my take! You can visit the gallery here and is open to everyone!

I started using a 6 X 6 white cardstock where I add the picture and stamp a sentiment from Lineart Sentiment, then I add this to a 8 X 8 green cardstock from Mimi. I also stamp and cut some flowers from Graphic Blooms and two strips of Catelynne! I add the scalloped cardstock and mount it on a 12 X 12 Kraft cardstock where I stamp some Flourishes from Playful Parenthesis and a line of dots from Linear Sentiment!

Hope you enjoy it! It was a real challenge for me because I like better the 8 X 8, so at that point I thought my layout was complete!! then to mount it on a 12 X 12, was a real challenge! and I need to point out that I started this journey as a 12 X 12 scrapbooker! can you tell?

Scrapbook with the FREE download

As you may know I host a scrapbook challenge once a month on Paper Wings Angels Only Forum, so yesterday was my day and my challenge was to use our FREE download paper to do a Scrapbook page! you should also use our amazing stamps to get that pop that we always want on our pages, but keep it simple and fun! Most time people are scare to scrapbook because they think is a lot of work or you need to embelish every inch of your page! and is not true! I want to preserve the treasures of my heart in a fun and simple way! The main goal is just to preserve your legacy, your memories, not to do fancy pages that you can pay more atention to the embelishments than to the photo! so here is my sample! I love those three sets and together with the FREE download paper that TAC is offering us! these are awesome!!

About the picture! yes, that was a Fantastical Fun moment, it was at Seminar 2008 when Mischelle and Cathy was giving me my crown for Star Recruiter! We laugh so much! but I can't tell you what was about, what happened at Wichita stay in Wichita, so if you are an angel and have the opportunity to go to Seminar this year, I will say go for it! Is so much fun! Can't wait to see you there!

A layout to share!!

Thanks for 2008!

WOW! today is the last day of this marvelous year!! I'm enjoying the time with my family! but couldn't resist to talk to you today!! 2008 was filled with blessings:

Within the family we have such a good year! full of good times specially together! we laugh, we cry, we cook together, we had a great time at homeschool, we went to the moovies, we eat SUGAR!!, the girls watch me studying and doing my best with my class at University! they missed me, I missed them, DH is retired effective TODAY! and we LOVE us each other each day more than previous day! We have GOD in our lives and that is the best of all!!

Within TAC! another year that I went to Seminar and I won a tiara!! lol, I need to tell you it was a blast! being an Angel is more than FUN!! You get to meet with the most truly sweet ladies, we had a great time in Wichita! I was published on the catalog, I was feautured 2 times on one of the Company's blog and I'm a DT on the Paper Wings forum wich is a place for Angels Only! I can tell you it was soooooooooo great that I can't wait to see what 2009 brings specially with the catalog going again 1 time per year and with the NEW magalog concept (an hybrid between magazine and catalog), and images to 100% again, wohoooooooooo!!

Within the blog world, almost 30,000 hits, THANK YOU!!, 5 followers!! (it's just a start, right? do you want to join them? lol!) and all your comments that are priceless to me! thank you with all my heart!, thank you also for your awards!! it mean the world for me!

This project I share here was my project on the Wingers for PW during the September month I guess! anyway is a chipboard wall hanging with one of the BEST pictures from Seminar 2008! lol! can you tell why? It was a very nice moment at the end of the Saturday night, we were trying to came out with how we want to be on the picture and when we decided the way we want it and we look to the camera! OHHHHHHH THERE WAS about 30 cameras!! it was like common nobody told us that you were a start!! (we said to each other!) it was crazy! but a GREAT MOMENT! Hope you enjoy it!

Seminar FUN!! Long Post!!

Hello!! I'm still excited about all the great time I had at Seminar last weekend!! It was so much fun! I need to share with you some highlights, because you have to be there to feel all the love and all the SPARK that was there!

First, I arrived on Wednesday, I was supossed to be at 7 in Dallas to travel with my Dear Friend Ginger, but my plane was delayed on Miami (what a messy airport) well I was late, so I need to go on the other plane to Wichita at 9:40 so I arrived at the Hyatt about 11:30 pm, there was Ginger waiting for me and we went to eat something at the hotel's restaurant!! Then right to the room where I was supposed to finish my trades!! At least I finished my Club Med trades. During the morning Ginger made a Chai Tea!! ohhhhhh my gosh!! that is incredible (She is a Chocolatier, check her site!) and some almonds and cranberries cover with chocolate, oh la la!! I wasa blessed to be here roomie for one night!! lol, It was such a pleasure to spend that time with her, if you know her, you know what I'm talking about, but if you don't check her site!! now. Then we just went to Club Med, that time was incredible awesome too!! Finally I met with Jackie and Margo, plus all the Club Med girls!! (Mabelle, Julie, Rita Holmes, Rita Kegg, Rita Wetzel, Pat Genardo and her Sassy Girls, Diane, Carol, Nancy Grant, Candy, Holly and more and more wonderful angels!!)

Then we went to the newbie section to be Papparazi for them, yes Club Med girls went to be their paparazzi!! and after that we chat a lil bit there at the Hotel and went to eat to Spangles (Ginger, Jackie, Margo and me!!) that place is very nice!! ask Jackie!! lol Then back to our team's meeting!! Where I got to met with Heidi, Beth, Dawnmarie, her mother, and all the other girls!! I received the Top Recruiter award and Top Seller #3 on Jackie's team "The Creative Cherubs". Ohhhhhh my everything was soooooooooo fast!! then to Walmart and other stores to buy some stuff!! you know girls need to celebrate!! and we have a nice night!! We went to the lobby to spend some funny time, I met Becky Johns, Robin, Kathleen Buchannan, Tonya Williams, Cherryl Pooh (yes, I spent some nice time with Cherryl again, she is just a sweettie!!), and more girls!! Yes, GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!!!

On Friday, ohhhhhhhhh what a day!! there was classes and make and takes!!! all day!! it was very nice!! but lot of work!! lol We worked with the new collections, new stamps and new tools!! WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! we was so tired, that we order pizza!!! and then the comedian show!! (I was not going to go to that event, but I knew there was a surprise for us, so I have to be there!!) and yes, the most beautiful moment!! happened there!! I MET THE CUSTOMER SERVICE team!! those girls ROCK!!! if you are an angel, you know what I'm talking about!!! It was fantastical to put faces with names!! I love those girls!! (Shannon, Betty, Sherry and Connie!! and of course Jodi that is not on the CS staff, but she ROCKS!!) we spent more time at the lobby and back to the room.

On Saturday, I was soooooooooo tired myself, but I went to all the classes and finished all the projects, well without pictures!! When I got into the room I was sooo tired that I thought not going to the banquet!! but I did it, and I'm so glad that I did it!! Them started recognizing the Catalog Designers!! yessssss I was a catalog designer with other angels!! I want to say Congratulations to them also: Nicole, Ginger, Carol Norby, Carol Hirsh, Julie Robinson, Julie Griffith, Marissa Alvarez, Barb Foster, Seleise, Barb Limone, Vickie Hook, Mary Moilanen, Leah, Trudy, Pam, Kim, Laurie, Rita Wetzel and some more!! I received Top Recruiter award (yes, I had 11 on this year!!), my dear friend Ginger got the Rising Star award!!!, Jackie got the Top Sales award, Margo, Ginger, Pat and Beth go to stage for promotions!! and my DEAR RITA HOLMES got the Angel Award!! OHHHHHHHHHH what a moment!! My Dear Julie Griffith got the Angel of the year award also!! what a day!!! There was a lot of emotions there!! but a fabulous night! Then back to the lobby to share with the girls just one more night!! It was an amazing time with the girls, I mean with ANGELS! because they are really angels!! I can't forget to said I met with Yuki and Shannon again!! those girls are incredible awezome!! At the last night I spent some time with two girls that are SUPER!! Julie Griffith and Holly Mays! oh girls you are SPECIAL, thanks for be there with me while I wait for the key to my room! (long storie) but thanks to Shannon I got it and just went to the room to change my cloth and back to the fun!! I hope that I don't forgot anyone!! because it was really special! Thanks for being the way you are!!
