Wednesday of Challenge!

Today challenge is about Gift Cards!! Sometimes we just have no idea about what to give and we just get a Gift Card from a store we know they can get something they need, right? Well, how do you give these Gift Cards, just like that, or with the lil stuff the store give you (if they give you something, lol). Try to come up with something different for this years gift cards! Here is what I did and I am not a fan of Gift Cards, but just in case I need it! If you want to get the template and measures just write a comment here!

En ocasiones no tenemos ni idea de que regalar y sencillamente compramos una Tarjeta de Regalo de alguna tienda en la cual sabemos la persona que la recibe puede comprar algo que le guste y/o necesita, cierto? (por ejemplo en nuestro caso una tienda de sb, jeje). Bueno, como entregas estas tarjetas? así nada más, o en lo que te dan en la tienda (si es que te dan algo, jeje). Trata algo nuevo, inventate algo difernete para entregar las tarjetas de este año! Esto fue lo que cree y no soy fanática de las Tarjetas de Regalo, pero solo por si la necesito! Wednesday of Challenge!

Edited to add: I am sooo sorry! I pre-scheduled this post and now I noticed that it didn't show earlier.
I think babies are in the air!! DH has a friend that recently became the father of a baby girl and DH asked me to make a card for him. At first I thought it would be difficult because how you make a card to a dad who just had a baby girl, lol. But I was talking with a friend who suggest me to use neutral colors for the cards, but pink for the baby (of course!) and here is the result. I hope you like it! The baby stamp is from a Mabelle set that was recently one of the Vintage sets, but that is no longer available, sorry!

The challenge today is to create something baby related, maybe soon you may need it.

Parece que hay bebés en el aire!! o me están persiguiendo, jeje!! Realmente me encantan los bebés y ver a las mujeres embarazadas, es algo tan especial!! Recientemente un amigo de mi esposo se convirtió en el papá de una hermosa chica y mi esposo me pidió que le hiciera una tarjeta para su amigo. Al principio pensé que sería difícil, pues como haces una tarjeta para un papá que acaba de tener una bebé, jeje. Bueno hablando con una amiga me dijo usa colores neutrales, pero la bebé la coloreas de rosita y aquí está el resultado. Espero les guste!! El stamp de la bebé es un stamp de Mabelle que estuvo hace poco en oferta, pero que ya no está disponible, lo siento mucho!!

El reto para hoy es crear algo con motivo de bebé, talvez pronto lo puedes necesitar.

Wednesday of Challenge: Pink for a Cure!

If you know me a little bit or a lot, lol, you know how important is for me this cause: breast cancer awareness. My mother is a survivor as well as some friends, very dear to my heart! One of them is my BFF from elementary school through high school, she was also my neighbor and we have lots of memories together! She definitevely has a special place on my heart! Then through my online and stamping journey I have met more incredible awesome ladies that have fought with this terrible enemy. Thanks God they are doing good now and can share with others about it. I know is not easy, I was a little girl when my mother was diagnosed, but trusting the Lord if you are already diagnosed and trying to prevent it if you don't is the best way to go. Take care of yourself, visit your doctor for a mammography today, early detention can make a difference, as well as trying to prevent it! Get the facts, don't wait 'til is too late!

About the Challenge (sorry about that, sometimes I get emotional, lol!), well you just need to do something PINK and share about the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in your blog and link back here!

About my card! I found this image online and I have to buy it. Isn't she just cute? I love everything in this image and what you can say about the saying? just perfect! I have to use More Mimi of course (actually is a scrap I had from the original Mimi!). I punched the saying with my flower punch and the coloring was using my Copic Markers: E00, E21, E29, E57, E59, R20, R81, R83, R85, RV14 and the Colorless Blender.

Si me conoces un poco o mucho, jeje, sabes lo importante que es para mí esta causa: la concientización sobre el cancer de seno. Mi madre es una sobreviviente, así como algunas amigas, muy queridas por mi corazón! Una de ellas es mi BFF de la escuela primaria hasta la secundaria, también era mi vecina y tenemos un montón de recuerdos juntas! Ella tiene, definitivamente, un lugar especial en mi corazón! Luego, a través de la Internet y en los grupos a los que pertenezco de "scrapbooking" he conocido a unas mujeres extraordinarias que han luchado contra este terrible enemigo. Gracias a Dios que están bien o recuperándose ahora y que pueden compartir con otros acerca de su experiencia. Sé que no es fácil, yo era una niña cuando se le diagnosticó a mi madre y se lo doloroso que es. Pero confiar en el Señor, si ya haz sido diagnosticada y/o tratar de evitar esta terrible enfermedad si no la tienes es el mejor camino a seguir. Cuidate, oriéntate, visita a tu médico, hazte la mamografía. La detención temprana puede hacer una diferencia, así como tratar de evitarlo! Busca la información, no esperes a que sea demasiado tarde!

Bueno ahora sobre el reto (lo siento, a veces me emociono, en particular cuando me toca de cerca, jeje!), sólo tienes que hacer algo ROSA y compartir sobre el Mes de concientización sobre el cáncer de mama en tu blog y enlazar de nuevo aquí!

Sobre mi tarjeta! Encontré esta imagen en la Internet y tuve que comprarla.
¿No es simplemente encantadora? Me gusta todo en esta imagen y que me dices del sentimiento "pelea como una chica"? Sencillamente perfecto! Tuve que usar More Mimi, por supuesto (en realidad es un pedazo que tenía de la colección Mimi original!). Corté la frase con el punch de flores y la pinté con mis marcadores Copic: E00, E21, E29, E57, E59, R20, R81, R83, R85, RV14 y 0 (el colorless blender).

Wednesday of Challenge!

Today's Challenge is up early, wohoooooooo!!! I am soooo happy that I pre-scheduled it so it will be here early, lol. I will try to do that more often. Well, about the challenge, do a masculine card. I know how hard that can be. The other day my MIL called me to ask me if I can do a card for one of her sons. I couldn't say no, because I love her, I love my BIL and I love to make cards, right? so it was an easy one. BUT then I was thinking what to do, lol!! If you know me, you know that I am a girly, girly stamper, lol! Thanks God, during my Friday's class a dear friend and downline came and she came with this set that I was dying to use, when she said "with this set you can do some really good masculine card" and I said, THANK YOU!! this is what I am going to use for my BIL card!! wohoooo!! I paired it up with the Winchester collection wich is an awesome collection for guys, right?

El reto de hoy está tempranito, wohoooooooo! Estoy feliz de que pude pre-programarlo y así está aquí temprano, jeje. Voy a tratar de hacer eso más a menudo, se siente super bien, pues no tengo el ajoro que me bloquea, jeje. Bueno, sobre el reto de hoy, hacer una tarjeta masculina. Sé lo difícil que puede ser, así que manos a la obra, si no la necesitas ahora mismito la guardas para cuando la necesites. El otro día mi suegra me llamó para preguntarme si podía hacerle una tarjeta para uno de sus hijos. Yo no podía decir que no, porque la amo, quiero muchísimo a mi cuñado y me encanta hacer tarjetas, así que fue una tarea fácil, al menos el decirle que sí. Pero entonces ya luego me estaba rompiendo la cabeza con la idea de que hacer, jeje!! Si me conoces, tú sabes que soy una "girly, girly stamper", jeje! Gracias a Dios, durante mi clase del viernes una querida amiga y "downline" vino con este set que me estaba muriendo por usar, cuando dijo "con este set puedes hacer unas tarjetas masculinas hermosas" le dije, ¡GRACIAS! este es el que voy a utilizar para la tarjeta de mi cuñado! wohoooo!! La usé con la colección de Winchester, que es una colección super buena para chicos, ¿verdad? y aquí está el resultado.

Wednesday of Challenge and the WINNER!

I don't know what happened with yesterday post, but is not here, lol!! Anyway I want to announce that the Blog Candy Winner is CHELSEA!! She was the only one who share a card here, so she is the winner!! Chelsea please send me your address to send the candy to your way!

Well, today's challenge is to do a card for someone that is in need, I am doing this challenge inspired by my nephew, he is at his home with a lot of restriction, but thanks GOD he is recovering! It's going to be a hard time for him, but he is alive and with us. Please keep him in your prayers! Like him there is people right beside you that is in need, please do something for them, you don't have an idea about how just something as small as a card can do for those people, do a card for them and give it to them, both are going to appreciate it! Share with me your card and I will send something in the mail to you! Be sure to send me your snail mail!

Today I am going to do something different! I am doing lots of cards and cutting like a mad girl, lol! But I will share that on Saturday! So, today is the first time I will challenge you to share with me a Holiay RECIPE!! You can just type in the comments or if you have a layout or a recipe book with it you can show it that way too!! This challenge was inspired by my girls! They want to try new recipes and I start researching the internet! ohhhhhh everything look sooo yummo that I thought it was a good idea to get some recipes from you!

Hope to read your best cookie recipe. I will try to do them as soon as I can!! I love to try new cookies recipes! (but you can share any other recipe for the Holidays as well!)

Oh wow, do you have plenty of cards in stock and when you need one you don't have the one you need? Well that happened to me today! I need some Thank You cards but don't have any (well when I finished these two I found some, lol). Anyway since I need them rush, I went to one of my box of scraps and here is what I did! Do you like it? I really do, it was so much fun to play a little bit.

My challenge to you today is make some cards whitout sentiment so you can use it later for the ocassion you need them or do some of the cards you use the most ie: thank you, birthday, etc! but HAVE FUN!! I know I did! Hope to see what you come with!

I used the Spanish Sentiment set with Graphic Blooms, the crop-a-dile with the scallops scissors for the border and the Scor Pal for the pink cardstock!

Oh, te ha pasado que tienes muchísimas tarjetas, pero cuando necesitas una no encuentras la perfecta? Bueno a mi me pasó hoy y saqué una de mis cajitas de scraps y esto fue lo que hice!! Te gustan? a mi sí, jeje, me divertí mucho haciendolas, espero que las chicas que las reciban le gusten también.

Mi reto de hoy es hacer algunas tarjetas sin sentimiento para que las puedas usar de acuerdo a la ocasión cuando las necesites o haz algunas de las que más usas: gracias, cumpleaños, etc. pero sobre todo DIVIERTETE!! yo si que lo hice! Espero ver tus creaciones.

Aquí use el sello Spanish Sentiments y el Graphic Blloms, la tijera de scallops y el crop-a-dile para el borde y la Scor-Pal para el cardstock rosado.

What is Wrong with ME!

Oh well!! I guess I am to old for technology, lol!! I found out today, that my picture didn't showed up on my Wednesday of Challenge post (the one using Reece paper collection) and the post I had pre-scheduled yesterday didn't show up either!! What did I do wrong? I am not sure, maybe I was so frustrated that didn't do it correctly, but anyway, here they are. I delete the post I had pre-scheduled to show up yesterday and I am posting here the two cards (I used the same set anyway!) Yes, is one of the new sets on the Inspiration Avenue that TAC released on September 1st. As soon as I check that set I knew I want to add glitter to it! so that was what I did first, then I wasn't sure of the whole idea and here is what I did. Hope you like it! Let me some love here and tell me what set you will love I use now! or guess wich one I am using now!!

Creo que sencillamente estoy muy vieja para la tecnología, la imagen de la tarjeta del miércoles NO salió! (es la que tiene el papel de Reece) y el post que programé para ayer tampoco salió! ¿Qué hice mal? No estoy segura, talvez estaba tan frustrada que no lo hice bien? de todos modos aquí las tarjetas que hice con el sello Peace. Si, es uno de los nuevos sets en el Inspiration Avenue que TAC sacó en Septiembre 1ero! Tan pronto como vi ese imagen sabía que quería ponerle brillito!! así que eso fue lo primero que hice, luego no estaba segura de la idea completa así que hice dos tarjetas integrando lo que tenía en mente. This is a quick post because I am really tired and I need to finish a couple of stuff!! I had a not so good day, I can't say that it was bad because I have my family and we had a great day at school today! But I have been having issues with my cell phone for 3 weeks! and today I decided to call the company and I did it 3 times during the morning call the lady re-programed my phone and it was working, then when I was cooking again it wasn't working during the call it was taking TOO MUCH! and I said I will call later because I need to eat, lol! Then I called when I eat and the guy told me that I should go to the store to change the phone (I argued because I thought is was not the phone) but I went to the store, I wait TWO hours there so they can check my phone, when I heard (sorry, my bad) a WHOLE family that just came in to say that they are having my same problem BUT the answer to them was different!! THEY ARE HAVING NETWORK ISSUES IN MY AREA!! but they never asked me where I live!!! So I came home with the same phone and the same ISSUE!! because they are having network problems in my area!! Enough rambling for now!!

The challenge for this week (YES!! I did a card, wohoooooooo, I need to relax!!) is to do a card with a new set, or Christmas card or simply share something you did today just for the FUN of play with rubber!!

I will post my card later, my kitty wants to play now!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Did you do the homework? Did you do your list of people you need to get gifts for Christmas? Well even those you didn't hightlight NEED a tag for their gifts, right? or do you give them away without a tag or mini card? common do you buy those? NO!! You can do that and you can start now without knowing anything, these are the details we tend to forget, right? Well not this year, my challenge for you today is to do some of all the tags you are going to need, this way you are ready to start!!

This tag is an easy one! I started with a white tag and then stamped randomly some images from Circle Sampler in green and red! then I add my sentiment to match the little bag I am using! I stamped the tree from Holiday Cheer and a scallop circle to embelish the little bag and of course a ribbon!! Is simple and fun so you can do ALL the ones you need! The good thing about this design is that you can use whatever stamps you have on hands to create your own christmas paper this save you money for the gifts!!

¿Hiciste la tarea de la semana pasada? ¿Hiciste la lista de las personas a las que necesitas regalarle en Navidad? Bueno comenzaremos con algo sencillo que aún aquellas que no estarían marcadas necesitan uno: Los tags! Pues aunque no sea un regalo hecho a mano necesitamos darle un toque especial, verdad? o los das sin un tag, o peor los compras? NOO!!! Tu puedes hacerlo con todos esos scraps que tienes por ahí y ni necesitas saber lo que les regalarás! Estos son los detallitos que por lo general se nos olvidan, NO este año!! Vamos a hacerlos YA!! pues mi RETO de hoy es hacer algunos o TODOS los tags que necesitarás para tus regalos y así estarás lista para comenzar una temporada tranquila sin ajoros de último momento!

Este es un super sencillo TAG! Comencé con cardstock blanco en el que estampé algunas imágenes del Circle Sampler en rojo y verde! luego añadí un sentimiento que combinara con la bolsita que usé. Además estampé un arbolito del set Holiday Cheer y corté un círculo de scallop con un punch para decorar la bolsita y por supuesto cinta!! Es super sencillo y divertio para que puedas hacer TODOS los que necesitas! Lo bueno de este diseño es que puedes usar cualquier stamp que tengas a la mano para crear tu propio papel y así ahorrar para los regalos que necesias compar!!

Hit the Beach and get Ready for Christmas!

Yes, I am late!! is funny cause on Wednesday I have issues with my computer and then yesterday with Blogger so I couldn't post it sooner!! Please forgive me!! About the card, I used the Mia's Cottage paper and the Hit the Beach stamp set, don't they look just like fun time? I really like the fun of it, this was one of the images I bring with me from Seminar! yes, and now that the summer is gone, I use it, lol!!

Now that is not going to happen with the Christmas cards and gifts, right? is time to get ready to start the Christmas planning, NOW! Wednesday of Challenge and Great News!

I can't stop smiling!! and I am excited because the NEW Inspiration Avenue is on the way!! Can you beleive that the Base Book was out the other day and now we have more NEW sets, to be exact 42 new sets!! I can't wait to see them, but I got a Sneak Peek and I know some I want for sure!! (that is a great reward for been an angel, right? We got a sneak peek of some sets, wohoooo!!) But I am not going to make you suffer, as soon as we have the okay to share I will post more here!!

Today is Wednesday of Challenge and my challenge to you today is do something with a Summer theme!! I know the other day I share a Spring card and now a Summer card, but I just want to get in the Christmas mood and I know is going to be very Christmasy since the Inspiration Avenue is FULL of Christmasy sets I died for!! I will share my creation in a little bit! I still have issues uploading (that's why some of my latest project are projects that I haven't share with you but were saved on the computer!! sometimes she is nice and let me upload and that's when I share NEW stuff!)

NO puedo parar de sonreir!! sencillamente estoy super emocionada porque el NUEVO "Inspiration Avenue" está de camino!! Puedes creer que no hace mucho que salió el Catálogo Base y ya tenemos muchos MAS sellos NUEVOS!! para ser exacta 42 sellos NUEVOS!! No puedo esperar para verlos, sentirlos y jugar con ellos! ya vi algunos Sneak Peeks y ya tengo algunos en mi lista (ese es uno de los maravillosos beneficios de ser Angel, ya vimos algunas cositas!! wohooooooo) Ya tengo mi listita de sellos que quiero con los certificados que me gané en el Seminario! siii, guardé 2 para comprar de esta publicación! No las haré sufrir muchísimo, tan pronto tengamos el okay de TAC pondré por aquí algunas cositas!!

Hoy es "Miércoles de Reto" o "Wednesday of Challenge" y mi reto para hoy es crear algo con un tema de verano!! si, se que los otros días compartí una tarjeta de Primavera y ahora Verano! pero se que pronto estaré con las Navidades! y se que estaré SUPER ocupada con el tema de Navidades dado a que el "Inspiration Avenue" está lleno de sets de Navidad que muero por ellos!! Compartiré mi tarjeta pronto! pues todavía mi querida computadora me da problemas para subir fotos algunas veces (por eso es que he estado compartiendo con ustedes cositas que había hecho y NO las había compartido por aquí, pero que estaban en mi computadora guardadas!) Aunque a veces se ha portado bien y me ha permitido hacerlo y he podido compartir algunas cositas nuevas, como el Monogram gift y el Mini Album de Bendiciones!

My card from Yesterday sketch!

Yes!!! It was a better day, not sunny but good to take a picture!! This is a really simple and easy card. I just used a scrap of A Little Whimsy pattern paper layered with one of my favorite cardstock colors (I am going to really miss this cardstock, lol!) and with my favorite cardstock color for the base! I love kraft because is a color that always said something, don't you think? Then on top of it, I add the black with withe dots ribbon wich looks alwasy so elegant! The green flower is from the Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, have I told you this was one of the items I got in my first order? I haven't use it, but yesterday I was looking for something and I FOUND THEM!! I was a happy girl! so here we go, I finished my card in less than 5 minutes to found out that I couldn't get a decent picture to post, lol!! But thanks GOD here it is!! Hope you like it!

Siii!!! Hoy fue un mejor día, no soleado, pero bueno para tomar una foto!! Esta es una tarjeta realmente simple y fácil de hacer. Simplemente use un pedazo de papel patrón del pad de papeles A Little Whimsy lo puse sobre un pedazo de cardstock de uno de mis colores favoritos!! (se que este es uno de los más que extrañaré, jeje) y por supuesto usé uno de mis colores favoritos para base de tarjetas! Me encanta el "Kraft" porque creo que es un color que siempre dice algo, no crees? Después, añadí la cinta negra con puntos blancos que luce siempre tan elegante! La flor verde es del Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, que fue uno de los productos que primero ordené pues LO NECESITABA!! y todavía no lo había usado, bueno no lo hubiese usado ayer tampoco si no fuese porque buscando otra cosa LO ENCONTRE!! sencillamente fui una chica feliz, jeje!! tan feliz que cuando no pude subir la foto traté de buscar una flor en mi programa y como no la encontré la hice con círculos sobrepuestos, jeje! pero tenía que tener una flor!! Esta tarjeta me tomó menos de 5 minutos y fui tan feliz para luego descubrir que no pude conseguir una foto decente que compartir con ustedes, jeje!! pero feliz pues la lluvia siempre es buena, nos recuerda la maravillosa creación de Dios!! Gracias a Dios que ya hoy está aquí la foto! Espero les guste.

Wednesday of Challenge!

Today is a rainy day here!! Oh, it is soooo humid here! I almost forgot it was Wednesday! It doesn't look like Wednesday! anyway it is and we have to have a Wednesday of Challenge, right? so since I couldn't take pictures of what I do today I decide to draw the sketch!! I know a lot of people love sketches and they are easier to work (for me is not the case! I am not good following sketches, lol). I will try to upload my card tomorrow if there is a little bit of sun! (I have to tell you that my card have ribbon, but I didn't know how to show a ribbon in the sketch, lol!)

Hoy fue un día super lluvioso aquí!! OHHHH, esta super húmedo!! Casi se me olvida que es miércoles!! NO parece miércoles para nada! Pero si lo es así que tenemos el Reto de los Miércoles, verdad? Como no pude tomar fotos de lo que hice decidí dibujar el sketch! Se que a muchas les gustan los sketches ya que se les hace más fácil trabajar (no en mi caso! No soy buena siguiendo sketches, jeje). Trataré de subir mi foto mañana si es que hace algo de sol! Les adelanto que mi tarjeta tiene cinta! pero no tengo idea de como añadir la cinta en el sketch!!

Just the card!

I couldn't upload my Blog Candy picture! (all of them were blurry) so here is the card I did!! One of my favorites color combo is kraft, black, white, red and turquoise, I LOVE ribbons, dots, flowers and scallops!! and I used the Spanish Sentiment set so here is a LOT of my faorites that I just want to share with you LOTS of faves here. I have been all day with a migraine so I wasn't able to take more pictures of the candy and wasn't able to play that much, but tomorrow I will be around (I hope so).
