{TAC} Chicks Day #2

Welcome back to another {TAC} Chicks' Day!! I love to play with my TAC stamps!!! I just love them and miss them soooo much!! but I am not going to cry is time to celebrate sharing my love for them. That is the reason for the {TAC} Chicks, honor and celebrate TAC all the time!!

This time I used an image designed by Soft Pencil Studios that was in the last catalog! Sentiment is from Latina Crafter and papers I am not sure, I just used some scraps I have on my stash, yikess!!! There is so much crap, excuse me SCRAPS, that I need to use asap!!! For the special touch I added a bit of twine!!! ohhhh, I am in love with this thing now!! so much that I am carrying it in my Latina Crafter's site!!

Saturday Spotlight!

As you already know, TAC closed their doors, but that doesn't mean that we have to stop using our FABULOUS images, right? I haven't been inspire to do anything, so today I am posting one of my daughters card! She used the Sunshine and Joy set with Latina Crafter stamps!

What I am spotlighting? The gorgeous images I will treasure forever, TAC used to carry the most wonderful images and that is something I am going to miss terribly! I am sure some of you feel the same way! what I am grateful is that I still have lots of images to play for a long, long time! I am still in shock, but I also agree that the show must go on, deeply sad, but deeply grateful for all the wonderful things I got through TAC, so it wasn't all lost! Have a great weekend and be sure to come back tomorrow, we have a Surprise in store!

Como ya sabrán, TAC cerró sus puertas, pero eso no significa que tenemos que parar de usar las imagenes FABULOSAS que hemos acumulado, jeje, cierto? Aún no he tenido el ánimo, ni la inspiració para crear nada, así que decidí subir una de las creaciones de mi amada hija! Ella usó el set "Sunshine and Joy" con los sentimientos de Latina Crafter!

Cual es el "spotlight"? Las fabulosas imagenes que atesoraré para siempre, TAC tenía las más fabulosas y maravillosas imagenes y eso es algo que extrañaré terriblemente! y esto segura que muchas de ustedes se sienten igual! pero estoy agradecida de que todavía tengo imagenes para jugar por muchoooo, muchooo tiempo, todavía estoy en "shock", pero se que el "show" debe continuar! bien triste, pero bien agradecida de todas las bendiciones que recibí durante mis años con TAC, así que no todo es pérdida! en el saldo neto es muchooo más lo que recibí!

Esperando que pases un hermoso fin de semana y que vuelvas mañana ya que hemos preparado una sorpresa!

A quick card!

I just don't feel in a mood of anything, there is so many things in my life right now, lots of mix feelings so I just sat down to create a card for a friend! I am not use to create with an occasion in mind, I must of the time just feel inspire by something and create, but I am not feeling inspired right now, but I know that a lilttle something can bring a sun ray to someone in a difficult time!

I wish to be in Puerto Rico right now, and that takes all my energy, but I trust my Lord and He has a purpose. I will keep trusting in Him and praying harder everyday, I know He will give me the strengths I need!

Aunque no me siento en el ánimo de nada, hay muchas cosas en mi vida ahora mismo, muchas emociones mezcladas, así que me senté a hacer una tarjeta para una amiga! Regularmente me siento inspirada en algo y me pongo a hacer la tarjeta, casi nunca me siento a crear con una ocasión en mente, pero realmente no estoy inspirada ahora, pero se que un detalle en un momento difícil trae un rayo de luz a nuestras vidas!

Ahora mismo desearía estar en Puerto Rico, y eso me está drenando toda mi energía, pero confío en mi Señor y se que El tiene un propósito, así que yo seguiré confiando en El y orando con mas fuerzas cada día, se que El me dará las fuerzas que necesito!

Saturday Spotlight!

It got me!! sad but true, now I am the one who is sick, lol! So today Spotlight is in charge of my beautiful and creative daughter!! She is amazing!

Sometimes you have a beautiful big image and don't know how to finish the card without taking the focal point from the image, those that sounds familiar? Take a small stamp and do a bit of stamping in the background and that will make the trick, simple and complete! This is what she did with this card, she stamped small flowers from the same set in the kraft paper and voila! The card looks complete without adding a design paper that may distract from the focal point!

This set is one of the new designs by Mabelle (Lily's Rainbow), love it, love it!

Me cogió, triste, pero cierto!! Ahora soy yo la que está enferma, jeje! Así que el "Spotlight" de hoy está a cargo de mi querida y creativa hija!! Ella es increíble, claro es mi hija, jijiji!

A veces tenemos una hermosa imagen grande y no sabemos como completar la tarjeta sin quitar la atención de la imagen principal, te suena familiar? Pues toma un sello pequeño y añade un poco de "stamping" en el fondo de la tarjeta y eso hará el truco, sencillo y completo! Eso fue lo que ella hizo en esta tarjeta, estampó una flor pequeña del mismo set en el papel Kraft y voila! La tarjea luce terminada sin tener que añadir un papel de diseño que puede distraer del punto focal!

Este set es uno de los nuevos diseños de mi querida Mabelle (Lily's Rainbow), sencillamente me encanta!

New Creation Stamp!

I love this stamp set, New Creation!! I played with it at Seminar and it was in my first order!!! It's a really good stamp for quick cards and more time consuming as well. At the beginning I thought it wasn't for me, even when I really like it, but thought it was going to be a pain to create with it, lol! but I was wrong! Here I just use a bit of chalk in the butterfly and the words Christ and Creation and Copic makers for the butterfly and the "the new has come" highlighting! the rest is with the Memento Desert Sand ink (I am in love with this ink!!) and a sponge! Really easy to do! and very quick as well!

This is another card I started at Seminar and change the design a bit! I just ran out of my adhesive and have to bring it home unfinished! Hope you like it!

Este set "New Creation" me encanta!! A la verdad que jugar con los sellos antes de comprarlos es un éxito, jeje! Este set me encantaba, pero pensé que sería practicamente super complicado para trabajar y no lo pedí hasta que jugué con el en el Seminario!!! Super sencillo, sólo usé tiza en la mariposa y las palabras "Christ" y "Creation" (azul) y marcadores Copic en la mariposa y las palabras "the new has come" (naranja), lo demás fue con la tinta "Desert Sand" de Memento que me encanta!! y una esponjita! Super fácil y rápido!

Esta fue otro de los "makes and takes" del Seminario que cambié y terminé en casa, jeje!! Es que me quedé corta con el adhesivo y me las traje sin terminar! Espero te guste!

TAC Seminar News!!

I know I've been MIA again!! and one of the reasons (the first one is the school year) is that I got a call from an ANGEL that wants for me to go to Seminar this year!! I have to tell you that with all the things happening in my life, this year I wasn't planning to go to Seminar. That was a pretty hard decission for me and one that made me cry A LOT!! I love TAC and I love to go to Seminar to see Mischelle and her family and ALL MY ANGELS friends!! I was sooo sad about it, but then suddenly this opportunity came out of the blue!! I was in TOTAL SHOCK!!! and I didn't know what to say. I wait for DH to come and talk with him, the thing is that I found a ticket for $150 less that what I've seen previously!! so I put it on hold!! Oh well, to make the story short (it's really LONG) I didn't do it on time, but then DH received a call that the class he was going to be teaching was cancel and I cried!!! because the airfare WAS up for $150, lol!!! Then I remembered that the reason I was flying was DH class!!!! (everyone was driving on Wednesday!) so I called my DF Cindie and I am driving with a bunch of SUPER COOL friends from here and I can't wait to be there!!!

All that stress (in the good way) plus other things happening in my life made me be MIA again! I am sooo sorry about that!!

Here I am sharing a card I did for a Virtual Swap, but I couldn't post it in time because my blog was giving me a hard time to post!! Anyway I want to share with all of you! If you don't read more about from me for a while is just because I am getting all my trades ready for Seminar (next week) and I have to finish some stuff here too!! Hope to share with you soon!

Mother's day card for my MOM!

Have you done a card for something and then you said, no, that's not the card I want for that person? I mean, I just have ONE mom, you know! but I have been doing a couple of cards and none of them was like, yesss!!! that's it! I know you understanding, right? So I keep trying and I think THIS is the ONE for my mom! Specially since I am not going to hand deliver it to her, that's the worst part!! but at least I want that she feels the LOVE I had when I was doing it, I think she can sense it now!

Alguna vez has hecho una tarjeta para algo y luego dices: no, definitivamente no es lo que quiero para esa persona? Quiero decir, sólo tengo UNA mamá, tu sabes! pero he tenido que hacer varias tarjetas pues ninguna era como SIII, ésta es! Se que me entiendes, verdad? Así que seguí tratando y tradando y creo que ESTA es, ésta es la que ES para mami, especialmente porque no se la daré en persona, esa es la peor parte! Al menos quiero que ella pueda sentir el AMOR con el que la hice, creo que ella lo podrá sentir ahora!

Changing Blog Design and a Card Share!

Have you check my new blog design? I've been trying to change all my blog design without investing in hiring someone to do it! I am not sure if is going to work, but I LOVE my new banner, lol!!! It's just sooo mee!!! I love the colors and the boldness about it, don't you?

Since I have received a couple of e-mails asking about it, I want to tell you that I did it with Photoshop Elements and Lettering Delights. It was pretty easy and fun! BTW, right now Lettering Delights is having a SALE!!! and if you want something go NOW, because the sale ends tomorrow!!! Most of their stuff is just $1 and the SVG's that you can use to cut with the MTC software are $2 the set! They have some super cute sets I know you will love.





Oh!! about the card, lol!! I color this image when I was packing and getting ready to move, I didn't have a lot of inspiration to create, but coloring with my Copics is really therapy, so I had time for that of course, I HAVE TO DO IT for my own good, lol!!

Something from me!

Yes, I know I am MIA again! Lots of things going on and I don't have enough time to come here to share with you, but it's not because I don't want to, I miss you soooo very much!!!

Here is a quick card I did using Mabelle's digis paired with a sentiment from TAC that I love very much!! that font is so cute!! I colored my image with Copic Markers, you know I love to color and these days I need some stress relief so coloring comes handy, lol!!

Hope to share some other cards very soon, I need to be here more often, just to seat here to "talk" to you is sooooo cool, lol!

I am so sorry for been MIA!

I can't beleive I have been sooo much time absent from here. I have to tell you that I will LOVE to update here every day, but some days are really, really busy lately and with the new semester just around the corner I guess it will be harder! but we will see what I can do to manage not let you that much time without knowing a bit about me.

No puedo creer que ya va tanto tiempo ausente de aquí! Les tengo que decir que a mi me FASCINARIA entrar a diario, pero estos últimos días han estado super ajetreados y con el nuevo semestre ya casi al comenar se imaginarán! pero veré como hago para que no pase tanto tiempo sin actualizarles sobre mi!

Spanish Stamps?

Hey! I haven't been around for a while, we are doing some stuff in the house, so that's the reason!! Today I was thinking about Spanish Stamps!! I know that for some of you, Spanish Sentiments it's not a TOP priority, but for me, it is!!! I love to give away cards in my language, you know what I mean! Oh well, we have 2 different sets in Spanish and I hope to have more in the near future, yes, a girl can dream, right?

Anyway, I am happy with what I have NOW so here is a card I did with the Spanish Seasonal Cuties. Isn't this bear adorable? It's just sooo cute!! Here I did a masculine card because last time I used it in a girl card! Hope you like it!

Se que no he estado por aquí por un tiempito! Es que hemos estado haciendo unos trabajos en la casa!! Hoy he estado pensando en más sellos en español, jeje!! En el caso de ustedes, mis lectoras en español, se que me entienden super bien!! Cuando hablo de más sellos en nuestro idioma!! Me encanta la idea de dar tarjetas en mi idioma, se que me entiendes, jeje!! Bueno al menos tenemos dos sets en español, pero espero tener más en el futuro, estás de acuerdo conmigo? podemos soñar, cierto?

A card to share!

Here is a card I did for the Online Seminar Celebration at the Paper Wings Forum last week, the Challenge was: Remaining Neutral ("almost") so what you can do was to use: Black, White and Kraft cardstock and an extra color! It was a real challenge for me, lol! I want to add more color, but I finally glue it together, lol! Hope you like it, by now I think it looks pretty and elegant, what do you think? BTW I used a new set called: Delicate Florals.

Off to cut the rest of my stamps, lol!! I can wait to start playing with them.

Les comparto una tarjeta que hice la semana pasada para la Celebración del Seminario En línea del foro Paper Wings (un foro exclusivo para Angels!). El reto era Neutral (Casi) asi que lo que podías usar era: Negro, Blanco, Kraft y un color adicional! Fue realmente un reto para mi, jeje! Quería ponerle más colores, pero finalmente la pegué para evitar la tntación, jeje! Espero que te guste, ya me estoy acostumbrando, se ve bonita y elegante, qué crees? Oh, el sello es uno nuevo, llamado: "Delicate Florals".

Me voy ya a cortar más sellos, jeje! Estoy loca por jugar con ellos.

There is no place like Gnome!

Ohhh!!! you don't have an idea how much fun is to work with this NEW set!! It's called No place like gnome and the sad part is that today I got my FREE order (the one I did using my Gift Cards from Seminar, I love TAC, lol!) and I didn't order this set!!! It has to be in my next one!! At least I stamped some from it at Seminar so I can share this card with you!! Don't you think that "gnome" is just beautiful? and fun? I used my Copic to color in and I like the result!!

Oh well, it's a short note because I want to finish the indexing part for ALL the new sets I got today and see if I can cut at least half of them, lol! I already indexed about 10 sets so I think I am half done with that part, if I can get out of here, maybe I can make it, so good night!! lol!

No tienes idea que mucho me divertí haciendo esta tarjeta con este NUEVO set!! se llama: No place like gnome! y la peor parte es que hoy recibí la orden de sellos GRATIS (usando las Gift Cards que me gané en el Seminario, amo TAC!! jeje) y no ordené este set!!! al menos había estampado algunas imagenes en el Seminario, así que pude hacer esta tarjeta! no crees que este "gnome" es sencillamente hermoso? y divertido? usé mis Copic para darle color y me encantó el resultado!!

Bueno, esto será una notita, pues quiero terminar de hacerle el "indexing" de todos los sellos que recibí hoy y al menos cortar la mitad, jeje! Bueno ya tengo hecho los "indexings" de como 10 sets, así que es menos lo que me falta, si logro levantarme de aquí puede ser que lo logre, así que buenas noches, jeje!!

Sick Baby and a share!

Did you miss me? oh well, I did miss you all!! I have a sick baby and she needs all my atention so yesterday I couldn't come by to tell you anything, today she is doing a little better but she keeps me a lil busy, lol!!

I know I told you to be on the look out for a pic with the images for the candy, but I still don't have it yet, so I found this one (on DH's computer) and I know that I haven't share with you so here it goes! Hope you like it!! That pattern paper is Rustic Chic wich I love so very much!!! It's one of those 36 pages pad for only $6.95!!! yes, $6.95 for 36 pages (8 X 8) lots of paper for all your needs! The stamps I used were Starfly and Sincere Sentiments wich is a PWP (purchase with purchase) and you can get it for only $2.21, that's cheap, right? and of course the lil bit of coloring was done with my Copic Markers of course! Oh, anyway I need to go and sleep I need to be ready for tomorrow and for the weekend, it's Father's Day and I have lots of thigns to do!! (why are you thinking I haven't done my trades yet?, well you are soooo wrong!!!! you shouldn't be thinking that, you should know it's true, lol!!!) I have lot of things to do!! Love ya so very much!! Please say a prayer for my lil girl!!

¿Me extrañaste? bueno, yo si! Tengo a una de las chicas enferma y necesita de mi atención así que ayer no pude venir a decir nada, hoy se está viendo un poco mejor, pero me mantiene un poco ocupadita, jeje!!

Sé que te debo una foto con las imágenes que estaré añadiendo al "Blog Candy", pero todavía no la tengo y con este trajín no he podido subirla a esta compu, así que he encontrado (en la laptop de DH) estas tarjetas que sé que no he compartido así que aquí va! Espero que te guste! El papel de patrón es Rustic Chic que me encanta muchísimo! Es una de esas libretas de 36 páginas por sólo $ 6.95! Sí, $6.95 por 36 páginas (8 X 8) para todas sus necesidades! Te pido de favor que ores por mi hija para que se mejore pronto, sabes que las madres no podemos ver a nuestros bebés enfermos!!

Copic Certification Class News!

Ohhhh!!! I am sooo excited and tired, lol! Today was my Copic Certification class!!! and I have to tell you how amazingly awesome is Colleen Schaan the Copic Regional Certification Instructor that was today here in Puerto Rico! I have the most incredible time today and I also learned a lot!! She is so talented, creative and she has a gift for teaching! I also share with Juliana from Sizzix, she is also a great artist!! So sorry I can't make it to her class I know it will be amazing!

I will share more with you later on, but be prepare for my next classes, projects and tutorials! I know I am going to use my Copic a lot, you know you always need more practice and more colors! so I need to use all I have to be justify to get more, lol! I know you understand me. Be sure to come back tomorrow as I am working with a special tutoria for Scrapéalo to be featured tomorrow.

Ohhh!! Estoy super contenta y cansada,jeje!! Hoy fue la clase de certificación de Copic (siiiii, ya tengo mi certificado!) Tengo que decirles que la maestra es sencillamente fabulosa! su nombre es Colleen Schaan, ella es la Instructora Regional para Certificaciones de Copic. Les cuento que la pase sencillamente especTACular y aprendí muchísimo, ella es super talentosa, creativa y atenta, definitivamente tiene un don especial para enseñar. También tuve la oportunidad de compartir con Juliana de Sizzix y les digo que es una chulería y super talentosa, que pena que no podré tomar su clase, buaaa!!!

Luego les estaré contando más y por supuesto vayan preparándose para las futuras clases, así como proyectos y tutoriales. Se que estaré usando los Copic más pues siempre se necesita más práctica y más colores, jeje! tu sabes, practicar más para justificar la compra de más colores! se que me entiendes, jeje!! Máñana estaré compartiendo mi primer tutorial para Scrapéalo, así que espero vengas por acá y por supuesto por el blog de Scrapéalo.

Another Masculine Card

Oh WOW!! Today was a super busy day! Yesterday I read a 268 pages book in one day and I complete one of my certifications. Today I woke up early to go to a business meeting and then I was tired to death, so I just put together this easy peasy card using an image from the Bears and Bubbles set that I had previously colored with my Copics, lol! Hope you like it! It can be use for Father's Day as well as birthday and almost everything! The paper I used is from the Reece Collection!

WOW! Hoy si que fue un día bien ocupado y largooooooooooooo!!! Ayer leí un libro de sobre 268 páginas y terminé una de las certificaciones que estoy haciendo! Hoy me levanté temprano para una reunión de negocios y estoy cansada a morir! Así que para despejarme antes de irme a la cama monté esta tarjeta sencillita usando una imagen del set Bears and Bubbles que ya había coloriado con los Copics, jeje! Espero les guste al igual que a mí. La hice genérica y así se puede usar para el Día de los Padres, para cumpleaños, o para casi cualquier evento! El papel de diseño es de la Colección Reece!

For you Dad card

I am so happy to have a little time to be here posting! Yesterday I finished one of the certification course I was doing and today I asked to send me the exam, oh well!! I got it and it's pretty long, lol! Over 220 questions!! At least I finished half of it and hope to finish the rest tonight or tomorrow, that way I have a lil more time to finish the other one for next week and be ready to complet me trades for Seminar, complete? I haven't start them yet, lol! Yes, if you know me you know what that means! Anyway, I need to finish a couple of things but wanted to share this new card with you! Estoy tan feliz de tener un ratito para actualizar aquí!! Ayer terminé una de las certificaciones que estoy haciendo y hoy pedí que me enviaran el examen, oh wow!! es super largo sobre 220 preguntas!! Bueno al menos ya hice la mitad y espero terminarlo esta noche o mañana, así tendré más tiempo para terminar el otro para la próxima semana y así terminar mis tarjetas para el intercambio en el Seminario, terminar? jeje!! Here I am and a card!

I haven't been around for a while, right? I know my bad. Yesterday I was talking with DH and I told him I haven't updated my blog in weeks and he said, I know you have been pretty busy with a lot of stuff, right? and that moment I realized that at least I should take a moment to let you know, that I miss you, I miss coming here to "talk to you" and that I hope to be back sooner than soon. May was sooo busy and when I look at my June agenda it looks pretty busy too. I have the Copic Certification, two business meeting and TAC Seminar (wich includes get my swaps done!!!). So many things and so little time! I know you know what I mean because most of you have the plate full as well. At least we finished the homeschool year and I am trying to finish a distance course I am enrolled in and two certifications I am doing too. I know I have a lot going on, but I love to be busy, lol! ANyway I just want to pop in and let you know a bit about me!

The other day I decided to relax and took my Copic markers and this image to do just that, take a break! Then I found a piece of the Pop Rockz paper collection (wich I love because it's so versatile!) and I did this card. No he estado por aquí por un buen tiempo, ¿verdad? Lo sé mala mía. Ayer estuve hablando con DH y le dije que no he actualizado mi blog en las últimas semanas y me dijo: has estado muy ocupada ¿verdad? y en ese momento me di cuenta de que al menos me debía tomar un momento para dejarles saber sobre mi y que les echo de menos, extraño venir aquí a "hablar con usted", por eso espero estar de vuelta muy pronto. Mayo fue un mes super ajorado y miré mi agenda para junio y se ve más o menos igual!! Tengo la certificación de Copic, dos reuniones de negocios y el Seminario de TAC (que incluye hacer mis swaps/intercambios!!!). Tantas cosas y tan poco tiempo! Sé que sabes lo que quiero decir, porque la mayoría de ustedes tienen el plato lleno también. Al menos hemos terminado el año de "homeschooling" y estoy tratando de terminar un curso a distancia que estoy inscrita y también dos certificaciones que estoy haciendo. Sé que tengo mucho que hacer, pero me encanta estar ocupada, jeje! De todos modos yo sólo quiero pasar de brincadita y dejarles saber un poco acerca de mí!

El otro día me decidí a relajarme y tomé mis marcadores Copic y esta imagen para hacer precisamente eso, tomarme un descanso! Luego encontré un pedazo de papel de la la colección Pop Rockz (que me encanta por su versatilidad) e hice esta tarjeta.
