Happy NSD and a Special Card to share!

Hello my friends and Happy National Scrapbooking Day! Today I want to share this card and her story! Remember I was going to check if I find the cards my DD made for my BFF? Oh well, I found one, but while looking for those I found this beautiful card, isn't she gorgeous? I have to tell you that this card as it said in the picture was made by Madeline Vargas, she is my BFF and she colored this image while at a Copic Class at my house! I was soooo excited because she did such a wonderful work with that girl, isn't she? Well a couple of days later, I received a text message with this card (that's why I found it, lol). We laughed a lot when she gave it to me!! because when she sent me the card by text I asked her who is going to receive that beautiful card (usually she sent me the card with a message like this is for....) but that day I didn't receive that message and for me it was weird, so I asked. She never replied so with all the things I was doing by those days, I forgot about it. For my birthday she came in with THE CARD!!! Ohhhhh, I was sooo honor to receive that card and we laughed about the story with my other friends that were at home that day for my "Cupcake Mini Party", lol!

Okay, I should tell you the story, right? When I was packaging my stuff, the last room I did was my Stamping Rooom, okay, I started with it, but I noticed that I can be there for months and years and don't finish, so I decided to move on and let everything else there for later! The thing is that I NEVER get to finish my room and she and my other BFF help me with that, they went home and packed some stuff to send me. Here comes the story, lol! In one of those boxes I received this card AGAIN!!! Yes, I left this card in my studio and SHE sent it back to me! I felt soooo SAD, that I left the card and that she found it!! If I were her, I guess I would be sad and mad and take the card for me and never say anything about it, but SHE didn't, she sent it to me and I was sooo touch, she didn't get mad at me, she knew what I was going through but there is no reason for me to left that and even when she found out she still loves me anyway! Life is so short that I am happy to be bless with her friendship! and I want to take this moment to say Thanks, thank you my dear friend, my sister!

Feliz Día Nacional de Scrapbooking! Hoy quiero compartirles esta tarjeta que tiene una historia especial para mi! Recuerdas que iba a ver si encontraba las tarjetas que mi querida hija le hizo a mi mejor amiga? Bueno, encontré una, pero al mismo tiempo encontré esta hermosa tarjeta, ¿no es mona esta chica? Tengo que decirles que esta tarjeta como dice en la foto fue hecha por Madeline Vargas, mi mejor amiga. Ella coloreó esta imagen, en una clase Copics en mi casa! Yo estaba taaaan emocionada porque ella hizo un trabajo maravilloso con esa chica, ¿no te parece? Bueno un par de días más tarde, recibí un mensaje de texto con esta tarjeta (por eso la encontré en mi búsqueda, jeje). Nos reímos mucho cuando ella me la dio! porque cuando ella me envió la tarjeta de texto le preguntó quién va a recibir esa hermosa tarjeta (pues por lo general ella me envía la tarjeta con un mensaje como esta es para ....) pero ese día no recibí el mensaje y me extrañó, así que le pregunté. Ella no respondió y con todas las cosas que estaba haciendo en esos días, me olvidé del asunto. Para mi cumpleaños ella llegó con LA TARJETA! Ohhhhh, estaba taaan emocionada de recibirla y nos reímos de la historia con mis otras amigas que estaban en casa ese día para mi "Cupcake Mini Party", jeje!

Bueno, ya debo contar la historia, ¿verdad? Cuando estaba empacando mis cosas, lo último que hice fue mi Stamping Rooom, bueno empecé con él, pero me di cuenta de que podía estar allí durante meses y años y no terminaría, así que decidí seguir adelante y dejar lo que quedaba para más tarde! La cosa es que nunca llegué a terminarlo, jijiji. Made y otra amiguita especial que quiero mucho, me ayudaron con eso, fueron a casa y prepararon algunas cajas que me enviaron. Aquí viene la historia, jeje! Como diría mi hija "finalmente!". En una de esas cajas que recibí, estaba esta tarjeta! Sí, la dejé en mi estudio y ella la encontró y me la envió de nuevo a mí! Me sentí taaaan triste de dejar la tarjeta y más de que ella la encontró! Si yo hubiese sido ella, creo que me hubiese sentido tan triste y molesta que cogería la tarjeta para mí y nunca diría nada al respecto, pero ella no lo hizo, ella me la envió a mí y eso me tocó el corazón, ella no se enojó conmigo, ella sabía lo que estaba pasando, pero para mi no hay ninguna razón, no hay excusas! La vida es tan corta que aprovecho para agradecer el poder contar con su amistad! Gracias mi querida amiga, mi hermana!

Hello Friend!/ Hola Amiga!

Just a little note to share with you another of the images I colored a while back with my Copic markers! This is from the Happy Girl stamp set (wich is retired) and the sentiment is from the NEW Spanish Seasonal Cuties! I like to have Spanish cards on hand, just in case I need them and living in Puerto Rico means that I do need Spanish cards, lol! (but don't forget there is an English version too!). The paper I used is from the A Little Whimsy paper pad (I love this paper pads because I love to have papers that coordinates and this pads has 36 papers and they cost only $6.95 ;0)!!). Don't forget to check our Specials, there is some stuff you will like and at prices you will LOVE!

PS: Don't forget the Make the Cut program is still on sale for only $58.36 with this program you can cut whatever you need with some different cutters, go over there to learn more! Sólo una pequeña nota para compartir con ustedes otra de las imágenes que había coloriado hace un tiempo atrás con mis marcadores Copic! Esta es del set Happy Girl (que está descontinuado) y el sentimiento es del nuevo set en español "Spanish Seasonal Cuties". Me gusta siempre tener a mano tarjetas en español, por si acaso las necesito, viviendo en Puerto Rico significa que las voy a necesitar, jeje! El papel que usé es de la libreta de papel "A Little Whimsy" (me encantan estas libretitas de papel porque me encanta tener papeles que coordinen entre sí y esta libretita trae 36 papeles y sólo cuesta $ 6.95; 0 )!!). Por cierto no olviden el enlace de especiales!! allí encontrarás cositas que se te gustarán y a unos precios que no podrás resiistir!

I am so thankful!

I just love this saying!! I got it from the Stamping Room at Seminar and I have to use it!! I create this card in a few minutes and I really want to get the attention to the sentiment!! I am so thankful for a friend like you! and that is what I am with all the great friends I have right now thanks to TAC and the online world! I really love to share with you a little bit of me, and what I love the most is to read your comments!! I am sooo thankful for that! I want to really say from my HEART thank you for visiting me!

I used here the A Little Whimsy paper (wich I love), white, brown and robbin eggs cardstock. The stamp set is Sunday Stroll.

Sencillamente me encanta este sentimiento!! Fue otra de las imagenes que estampé en el Stamping Room en el Seminario y definitivamente estaba loca por usarlo! Hice esta tarjeta en pocos minutos ya que realmente quería enfocar la atención en el sentimiento: Estoy muy agradecida por una amiga como tú! y eso es lo que estoy con todas las maravillosas amistades que he conocido gracias a TAC y al mundo cibernético! Realmente me encanta compartir con ustedes un poquito sobre mi, pero lo que me más me fascina es leer sus comentarios! Estoy tan agradecida por eso! De corazón GRACIAS por visitarme!

Usé los papeles A Little Whimsy (los cuales me encantan), cardstock blanco, brown y robbin eggs. El stamp es Sunday Stroll.

My card from Yesterday sketch!

Yes!!! It was a better day, not sunny but good to take a picture!! This is a really simple and easy card. I just used a scrap of A Little Whimsy pattern paper layered with one of my favorite cardstock colors (I am going to really miss this cardstock, lol!) and with my favorite cardstock color for the base! I love kraft because is a color that always said something, don't you think? Then on top of it, I add the black with withe dots ribbon wich looks alwasy so elegant! The green flower is from the Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, have I told you this was one of the items I got in my first order? I haven't use it, but yesterday I was looking for something and I FOUND THEM!! I was a happy girl! so here we go, I finished my card in less than 5 minutes to found out that I couldn't get a decent picture to post, lol!! But thanks GOD here it is!! Hope you like it!

Siii!!! Hoy fue un mejor día, no soleado, pero bueno para tomar una foto!! Esta es una tarjeta realmente simple y fácil de hacer. Simplemente use un pedazo de papel patrón del pad de papeles A Little Whimsy lo puse sobre un pedazo de cardstock de uno de mis colores favoritos!! (se que este es uno de los más que extrañaré, jeje) y por supuesto usé uno de mis colores favoritos para base de tarjetas! Me encanta el "Kraft" porque creo que es un color que siempre dice algo, no crees? Después, añadí la cinta negra con puntos blancos que luce siempre tan elegante! La flor verde es del Garden Mix Bitty Blossom Jar, que fue uno de los productos que primero ordené pues LO NECESITABA!! y todavía no lo había usado, bueno no lo hubiese usado ayer tampoco si no fuese porque buscando otra cosa LO ENCONTRE!! sencillamente fui una chica feliz, jeje!! tan feliz que cuando no pude subir la foto traté de buscar una flor en mi programa y como no la encontré la hice con círculos sobrepuestos, jeje! pero tenía que tener una flor!! Esta tarjeta me tomó menos de 5 minutos y fui tan feliz para luego descubrir que no pude conseguir una foto decente que compartir con ustedes, jeje!! pero feliz pues la lluvia siempre es buena, nos recuerda la maravillosa creación de Dios!! Gracias a Dios que ya hoy está aquí la foto! Espero les guste.

I have to share a SECRET!

I still laughing about this!! Please don't tell anyone. Well, my little secret is that when I was creating the projects I wanted to submit to TAC for the Design Call, I did lots of projects! and I was ready to send them when I noticed that I haven't done anything with one of my most FAVORITE SET!! Spanish Sentiments!! Can you beleive it? I felt sooo misserable, lol! I asked so much for that stamp set (I really think I was such a pain asking for a set in Spanish ;0) and I haven't done a card for the call. So I ran to do some cards but NONE of them was what I will expect because I was so out of ideas already!! Here is one of the cards I submited, the other one is on the Catalog so if you have it you can see it, lol, but if you don't have one yet, contact me to get one copy! and I can sign it for you if you want, lol! Anyway, I wasn't satisfied with my cards but at least the set is on the Catalog and that is really something for me, I wish TAC can bring more sets in Spanish soon, what do you think?

If you haven't order that set, you can do it now! I know that you have some friends or family that speak in Spanish, it will be awesome if you send a card in tehir language, right? I know is true because when I get a message, a card or anything in my language (coming from someone that doesn't speak my language, it means the world to me! yes, the other day I received a message from someone really special for me and she wrote: you are Número Uno! and I was almost crying, lol). So get your set here!


Todavía me río de esto, por favor no se lo digan a nadie. Bueno, mi pequeño secreto es que cuando estaba creando los proyectos que quería enviar a TAC para el "Design Call" y ya estaba lista para enviarlos, me di cuenta de que no había hecho ni uno solo con uno de mis sets FAVORITOS!! el Spanish Sentiments, pueden creerlo? Me sentí tan miserable, jeje! Tanto que pedí ese sello (en realidad creo que fui suficientemente molestoda pidiendo un set en Español ;0) y ni siquiera había hecho una tarjeta para el DC. Así que rapidísimo hice algunas tarjetas usando el set, pero NINGUNA eran lo que esperaba por que estaba ya sin ideas!! Esta es una de las tarjetas que hice, la otra está en el Catálogo así que si tienes uno la puedes ver, jeje! pero si no tienes uno todavía, contáctame para hacerte llegar una copia y lo puedo autografiar si quieres, jeje!! De todos modos, no quedé muy satisfecha con las tarjetas que envié, pero el set está en el Catálogo y eso significa muchísimo para mi, desearía que TAC hiciera pronto más sellos en Españo, que crees?

Si todavía no tienes tu sello en español, puedes comprarlo aquí. Es super maravilloso poder enviar tarjetas en nuestro idioma, no hay muchos por ahí, así que compra el tuyo ya para que la próxima vez que envies tarjetas lo hagas en tu idioma!

From Card to Crop!

A card, blog candy and an update!

WOW!! TAC announced that the Fresh Spring Things kit is SOLD OUT!! I love that kit! and I think that everyone loves it too!! wohoooooo!! I am sorry if you haven't orders yours yet! because they are ALL gone!! that is sad, but since I like to see my water glass half full instead of half empty! is a good thing to know that we are getting our name out there!! every day more and more! Once in a while I get people what is The Angel Company? and I love to share TAC with others so getting this kind of respond to our FST kit it makes me HAPPY!!

I wish we can have more of those babies, but this is a good lesson for all of us, next time order yours as fast as you can! (yess, I got mine ordered last week, lol).

This card features one of the new sets from the magalogue: Beautiful Day and our Little Whimsy collection! those colors are perfect for this season, don't you think? I have some scraps here and there, so I used them!

Angels Blog Hop!

Melissa challenged us, angels, to use the Seeds of Blessings set! and I have this sets a while ago and I haven't use it!! then my dear friend Jany want to enter but she doesn't have it so I told her that I could stamp some images for her! so when I stamped her images I said to myself you have to do one card!! so here it is!! The Owl is here!

Yes, Finally I did an owl's card! This one is from Fall Fun one of the new Mabelle's stamps! I just love it!! don't you? is so easy to work with! you can even stamp it with PINK!! lol! I love that girl on that set and I did a card with it, but I sent it to a dear friend without taking a picture!! soooo I need to redo it and then share it with you!! and of course I color it with PINK!

About the card! this is a quick and simple card you can make in less than 5 minutes!! the kind of card we need to be working if we want to have all Christmas cards and all lil gifts we have to do for the Christmas season! I used the Fall Fun set, Spanish Sentiment set and A little Whimsy paper pad this paper is sooo awesome you get 36 (8 X 8) papers for just $6.95!!! you can do a lot of cards!!! and even is great for doing my favorite scrapbook layouts!! (I love the 8 X 8 size!!)

From Card to Crop

Is raining a lot down here!! and there is a lot of devastation on the southeast part of the Island, really sad! Hope they can receive the help they need at this moment, please pray for all the people affected around the world (Haiti, Cuba, Texas, Puerto Rico...)Thanks God me and my family are doing fine (we have a lot of rain and we had problems with the water service, but that is already back to normality, at least that what I think so)

Here is a project I did for PW's Newsletter! the theme was From Card to Crop, what you have to do is creat a Layout from a card sketch or idea and here is what I came with! The picture was taken at Dallas Zoo last year!

Wednesday of Challenge!!

I told you the other day that I did some projects for the Wingers DT and I remembered that I haven't share with you my May's project!! yessssssss I can't share my projects for a 3 months period!! (at least now you can program future post in Blogger so now I need to do so with last week projects so I can share them wit you on December!!! lol) Sometimes I forgot to share with you! So finally is here! I did this project on April and I used some acetate sheets and for the covers I used the clamshells our stamps comes in!! I use the Bind it all to bind it and I love it soooo much!!

So my challenge to you is to make something CLEAR! you can do anything but use something clear! acrylic, acetate a clamshell, whatever you feel inspire to do and to use! Hope to see your creations soon!

Wednesday of Challenge!!

Yeahhhhhhhhh another Wednesday and another challenge, last week we was working with MINIS!! and this week we will work with SQUARES!! yesssssssss I did a Square card to finish my project, is the card my friend is going to use for her secretaries gifts! Well so I decide that it can be a great challenge! I love square cards!! they looks so elegant!

I will work with another one later this week, I hope, but for now here is the one I did today!

The complete project is here!

Wowza!! I finished, I can't beleive it, but I did it, lol! This is the complete project I was working on it. It is like a stationary kit with a set of Mini Cards, a set of Full Cards, a Note Holder, a Mini Album in a tin all this in a purse bag done with the Scor Pal!! plus a Brown Sugar cologne from Beauti Control! what else do they need? lol. As you see I did 3 kits! I regreat from not doing another one for ME!! But I hope I can make another one just to keep it! It have to be later because now I need to work with my next workshop! An 8 X 8 album for MOM! using the Mimi Collection if you are in Puerto Rico and will want to be part of this e-mail me to get you on the list, I just have a few spots! Price is $35 and includes all the materials for the Album (20 layouts plus album), a card, a project with coasters, make and take, plus more!! Sharing more of my project!

This is a set of full cards I did for the custom order I told you the other day! I love to work projects like this and I know the ladies getting this are going to love it and have fun!! they are not paper crafters! so I am so happy that my friend asked me to do this for them! I always love that more people start preserving her photos and sharing creativity!

My workshop today!

OH, I have to share with you that today I did a workshop for 26! so I did 26 kits to work a Handmade 8 X 8 Chipboard Mini Album and I have to tell you that I love it! The group was awesome, they were so talented and they love so much Scrapbooking, that they want more workshops!! Can you beleive it?

Well here are the 2 albums that I did for them. The boys one I used the Just like dad collection from TAC and the girls one was with the A Little whimsy collection from TAC also. It was so much fun to work with this collections, it was my first time working a mini album for BOYS!!
