Happy NSD and a Special Card to share!

Hello my friends and Happy National Scrapbooking Day! Today I want to share this card and her story! Remember I was going to check if I find the cards my DD made for my BFF? Oh well, I found one, but while looking for those I found this beautiful card, isn't she gorgeous? I have to tell you that this card as it said in the picture was made by Madeline Vargas, she is my BFF and she colored this image while at a Copic Class at my house! I was soooo excited because she did such a wonderful work with that girl, isn't she? Well a couple of days later, I received a text message with this card (that's why I found it, lol). We laughed a lot when she gave it to me!! because when she sent me the card by text I asked her who is going to receive that beautiful card (usually she sent me the card with a message like this is for....) but that day I didn't receive that message and for me it was weird, so I asked. She never replied so with all the things I was doing by those days, I forgot about it. For my birthday she came in with THE CARD!!! Ohhhhh, I was sooo honor to receive that card and we laughed about the story with my other friends that were at home that day for my "Cupcake Mini Party", lol!

Okay, I should tell you the story, right? When I was packaging my stuff, the last room I did was my Stamping Rooom, okay, I started with it, but I noticed that I can be there for months and years and don't finish, so I decided to move on and let everything else there for later! The thing is that I NEVER get to finish my room and she and my other BFF help me with that, they went home and packed some stuff to send me. Here comes the story, lol! In one of those boxes I received this card AGAIN!!! Yes, I left this card in my studio and SHE sent it back to me! I felt soooo SAD, that I left the card and that she found it!! If I were her, I guess I would be sad and mad and take the card for me and never say anything about it, but SHE didn't, she sent it to me and I was sooo touch, she didn't get mad at me, she knew what I was going through but there is no reason for me to left that and even when she found out she still loves me anyway! Life is so short that I am happy to be bless with her friendship! and I want to take this moment to say Thanks, thank you my dear friend, my sister!

Feliz Día Nacional de Scrapbooking! Hoy quiero compartirles esta tarjeta que tiene una historia especial para mi! Recuerdas que iba a ver si encontraba las tarjetas que mi querida hija le hizo a mi mejor amiga? Bueno, encontré una, pero al mismo tiempo encontré esta hermosa tarjeta, ¿no es mona esta chica? Tengo que decirles que esta tarjeta como dice en la foto fue hecha por Madeline Vargas, mi mejor amiga. Ella coloreó esta imagen, en una clase Copics en mi casa! Yo estaba taaaan emocionada porque ella hizo un trabajo maravilloso con esa chica, ¿no te parece? Bueno un par de días más tarde, recibí un mensaje de texto con esta tarjeta (por eso la encontré en mi búsqueda, jeje). Nos reímos mucho cuando ella me la dio! porque cuando ella me envió la tarjeta de texto le preguntó quién va a recibir esa hermosa tarjeta (pues por lo general ella me envía la tarjeta con un mensaje como esta es para ....) pero ese día no recibí el mensaje y me extrañó, así que le pregunté. Ella no respondió y con todas las cosas que estaba haciendo en esos días, me olvidé del asunto. Para mi cumpleaños ella llegó con LA TARJETA! Ohhhhh, estaba taaan emocionada de recibirla y nos reímos de la historia con mis otras amigas que estaban en casa ese día para mi "Cupcake Mini Party", jeje!

Bueno, ya debo contar la historia, ¿verdad? Cuando estaba empacando mis cosas, lo último que hice fue mi Stamping Rooom, bueno empecé con él, pero me di cuenta de que podía estar allí durante meses y años y no terminaría, así que decidí seguir adelante y dejar lo que quedaba para más tarde! La cosa es que nunca llegué a terminarlo, jijiji. Made y otra amiguita especial que quiero mucho, me ayudaron con eso, fueron a casa y prepararon algunas cajas que me enviaron. Aquí viene la historia, jeje! Como diría mi hija "finalmente!". En una de esas cajas que recibí, estaba esta tarjeta! Sí, la dejé en mi estudio y ella la encontró y me la envió de nuevo a mí! Me sentí taaaan triste de dejar la tarjeta y más de que ella la encontró! Si yo hubiese sido ella, creo que me hubiese sentido tan triste y molesta que cogería la tarjeta para mí y nunca diría nada al respecto, pero ella no lo hizo, ella me la envió a mí y eso me tocó el corazón, ella no se enojó conmigo, ella sabía lo que estaba pasando, pero para mi no hay ninguna razón, no hay excusas! La vida es tan corta que aprovecho para agradecer el poder contar con su amistad! Gracias mi querida amiga, mi hermana!

Here I am and a card!

I haven't been around for a while, right? I know my bad. Yesterday I was talking with DH and I told him I haven't updated my blog in weeks and he said, I know you have been pretty busy with a lot of stuff, right? and that moment I realized that at least I should take a moment to let you know, that I miss you, I miss coming here to "talk to you" and that I hope to be back sooner than soon. May was sooo busy and when I look at my June agenda it looks pretty busy too. I have the Copic Certification, two business meeting and TAC Seminar (wich includes get my swaps done!!!). So many things and so little time! I know you know what I mean because most of you have the plate full as well. At least we finished the homeschool year and I am trying to finish a distance course I am enrolled in and two certifications I am doing too. I know I have a lot going on, but I love to be busy, lol! ANyway I just want to pop in and let you know a bit about me!

The other day I decided to relax and took my Copic markers and this image to do just that, take a break! Then I found a piece of the Pop Rockz paper collection (wich I love because it's so versatile!) and I did this card. No he estado por aquí por un buen tiempo, ¿verdad? Lo sé mala mía. Ayer estuve hablando con DH y le dije que no he actualizado mi blog en las últimas semanas y me dijo: has estado muy ocupada ¿verdad? y en ese momento me di cuenta de que al menos me debía tomar un momento para dejarles saber sobre mi y que les echo de menos, extraño venir aquí a "hablar con usted", por eso espero estar de vuelta muy pronto. Mayo fue un mes super ajorado y miré mi agenda para junio y se ve más o menos igual!! Tengo la certificación de Copic, dos reuniones de negocios y el Seminario de TAC (que incluye hacer mis swaps/intercambios!!!). Tantas cosas y tan poco tiempo! Sé que sabes lo que quiero decir, porque la mayoría de ustedes tienen el plato lleno también. Al menos hemos terminado el año de "homeschooling" y estoy tratando de terminar un curso a distancia que estoy inscrita y también dos certificaciones que estoy haciendo. Sé que tengo mucho que hacer, pero me encanta estar ocupada, jeje! De todos modos yo sólo quiero pasar de brincadita y dejarles saber un poco acerca de mí!

El otro día me decidí a relajarme y tomé mis marcadores Copic y esta imagen para hacer precisamente eso, tomarme un descanso! Luego encontré un pedazo de papel de la la colección Pop Rockz (que me encanta por su versatilidad) e hice esta tarjeta. Last days and TWO cards!

I know I am MIA again!!! I will tell you soon what is going with me, but until then just forgive me! First things first! This are two cards I just did. Yesterday, while I was watching TV with DH I colored this two images so today's work was nice and easy, create these simple cards to feature these awesome little girls! Don't you think they are just specTACular? I really love them and I have so much fun coloring them. I stamped 3 images just in case I mess up something, I color these two and the other I couldn't finish it, but NO, I didn't mess up any of them, lol. That's something I love about the Copic Markers, you can go over and over until you get the results you want, doesn't that sounds cool? I really LOVE my Copic markers! BTW, I also used my Cuttlebug embossing folders!! I am using my stuff, how about you? Let's get the dust out of our stuff and start creating, it's something FUN you can do soon! Lo se, sé que soy nuevo Perdida! Les prometo contarles pronto lo que está pasando conmigo, pero hasta entonces les pido que me disculpen, sale? Primero lo primero! Estos son dos tarjetas que acabo de hacer. Ayer, mientras estaba viendo la televisión con DH aproveché para colorear estas dos imágenes. Así que el trabajo de hoy era agradable y fácil, crear estas tarjetas simple para destacar estas hermosas chicas! ¿No te parece que son especTACulares? Realmente me encanta y me divierto mucho coloreando. Comencé estampando 3 imágenes (por si ocurría un desastre)pero colorié estas dos y la otra no pude terminarla, pero no, no estropié ninguna de ellas, jeje. Eso es algo que me encanta de los marcadores de Copic, que puedes colorear una y otra vez por encima hasta que obtengas los resultados que deseas, ¿no es maravilloso? Me encantan mi marcadores Copic! BTW, también he usado mis Cuttlebug "embossing folders"! Si! estoy usando mis cosas, ¿y tú? Vamos a sacarle el polvo a nuestras cosas y empezar a usarlas para crear algo, es algo divertido que puedes hacer en seguida! Comparte conmigo si utilizas algo que no usabas hace mucho tiempo.

Using my Copics with Wonder of Joy

Hey, sorry I didn't post yesterday night! I was hoping to do it, but I had a lil problem that need my attention and later I was kind of sad about it and couldn't do it! Oh, well! here is the card I made! I think it needs the saying, but I am not sure for what ocassion I will use it, so I will add it later when I need it. The image is from a stamp set called "Wonder and Joy" and it's such a great set! I used my Copic Ciao Markers (don't forget you can get at 50% off) to color it and I think it looks cute, don't you? lol! you have to agree with me! I am not an expert, but I will practice more to become one. I have been in love with my cricut that I forgot my Copics, so I decided to give it a try and also used my Labels One Nestabilities and Mia's Cottage paper collection. Hope you like it and let me know wich sentiment can I use for this card.

Disculpa que no puse nada ayer aquí. Pensé que iba a poder hacerlo, pero se me presentó un problema y luego, estaba un poco triste, así que no lo hice. Oh, bueno! aquí está la tarjeta que hice, pienso que le falta el sentimiento, pero lo añadiré cuando la vaya a usar. La imagen es de un set llamado "Wonder and Joy" y está SUPER! Usé los Copics (recuerda que los puedes coseguir a ½ de precio) para colorear y pienso que quedó de lo más "cute", no lo crees? jeje, tienes que decir que si!! No soy una experta, pero practicaré hasta llegar a serlo. He estado tan enamorada de mi cricut que me olvidé de mis Copics, así que decidí usarlos y además use mis Nestabilities "Labels One" y la colección Mia's Cottage. Espero te guste y dejame saber que sentimiento le añaddirías a esta tarjeta.
