When I decided to do the card for the hop I got busy helping them to do cards for their uncle so I took that image and did my card, lol!!! Don't laugh, probably she is not going to laugh about it! I did the cloud background with chalks and the card using the Latina Crafter's First Sketch!! The paper is also designed by Mabelle R.O. I just love her!

Saturday Spotlight!

I am sorry I didn't post anything last Saturday, I can tell you I have been busy with Latina Crafter my new line of Sellos en Español, specially now that I added Soft Pencil Studios design to the line!! But I manage to do a card the other day using a DIGI! So today I decided to "Spotlight" Mabelle's Digi images! Yes, I am not that good with digi stuff, but when I found this one made by my dear friend Mabelle, I have to give it a try! and I used one of my new sets ("Dando Gracias"/Giving Thanks) for Thanksgiving day! Hope you like it! and if you want that digi go to Mabelle's store, tell her I send you!! she is such a great friend! She has a lot of good stuff there and I know you already know I love Mabelle's designs! since TAC is no more, you can get her stuff in her store, I have receive a lot of question about what are Mabelle's fans are going to do now, but don't panic she is still designing and soon she is going to have rubber too! **wink**

Some good news!!

Como el post está un poco largo, jeje! Aquí el resumen en español:

De todo uno puede sacar algo bueno, cierto? al menos esa es la forma que yo quiero verlo! Todavía estoy triste, muy triste con el cierre de TAC, pero yo quiero verlo contando mis bendiciones, en especial las personas que he conocido a través de estos años que estuve con TAC y que muy probablemente no hubiese conocido sin TAC. En este grupo incluyo a Mischelle y su familia, mis compañeras demostradoras "angels", mis downlines, mis clientas, quienes mas que clientas son mis amigas! quienes de una forma u otra han tocado mi vida con ricas bendiciones (para una lista ver el post en inglés!)

En mi mente y en mi corazón siempre estarán presentes, todas las cosas que aprendí de ustedes, mi familia extendida!

Ahora, algunas noticias interseantes! siii!!! Qué hay próximo para mi? Saturday Spotlight!

It got me!! sad but true, now I am the one who is sick, lol! So today Spotlight is in charge of my beautiful and creative daughter!! She is amazing!

Sometimes you have a beautiful big image and don't know how to finish the card without taking the focal point from the image, those that sounds familiar? Take a small stamp and do a bit of stamping in the background and that will make the trick, simple and complete! This is what she did with this card, she stamped small flowers from the same set in the kraft paper and voila! The card looks complete without adding a design paper that may distract from the focal point!

This set is one of the new designs by Mabelle (Lily's Rainbow), love it, love it!

Me cogió, triste, pero cierto!! Ahora soy yo la que está enferma, jeje! Así que el "Spotlight" de hoy está a cargo de mi querida y creativa hija!! Ella es increíble, claro es mi hija, jijiji!

A veces tenemos una hermosa imagen grande y no sabemos como completar la tarjeta sin quitar la atención de la imagen principal, te suena familiar? Pues toma un sello pequeño y añade un poco de "stamping" en el fondo de la tarjeta y eso hará el truco, sencillo y completo! Eso fue lo que ella hizo en esta tarjeta, estampó una flor pequeña del mismo set en el papel Kraft y voila! La tarjea luce terminada sin tener que añadir un papel de diseño que puede distraer del punto focal!

Este set es uno de los nuevos diseños de mi querida Mabelle (Lily's Rainbow), sencillamente me encanta!

Saturday Spotlight!

I want to start a Saturday Spotlight Feature in my blog and today I am going to start with a stamp set from Mabelle, BUT also I am doing a technique called "Spotlight" which is the theme for the Technique Blog Hop in the TAC Savvy Blog Hop this weekend!

As you all know I love Mabelle's stamps so I want to start this new feature with one of her NEW sets called "Apple of my eye"

I used the Miss Moxie TAC Exclusive collection and color my "spotlight" with Copic Markers! Also I used my sewing machine for the first time in a card, wohooo!!! I bought it for that but I have done the Strawberry Shortcake outfit for my girl and I also fitted a dress for me, but never use it in a card before, lol!

My dear Mabelle it's going DIGI!!

Yes, that's right! You know that I love MRO's stamps, the ones with R code from TAC, you can check them here if you haven't and here to see the new ones from the Fall Suplement. Oh well, I am sooo excited because now she came with a Digi line!!! I am not a big fan of digis, but I can tell you I will buy a lot of these ones, lol!

I love Mabelle because she is an incredible friend AND she is SOOO talented!!! At the begining I just love her images and designs because I haven't met her but then I met her in KS City during my first TAC Seminar in 2007, oh WOW, this girl is as sweet as her images and we connected inmediately, she has a very special place in my heart! Sí, así es! Ya sabes que me fascinan los stamps/diseños de Mabelle, los que tienen código R de TAC, si aún no los has visto ve aquí para hacerlo ya y aquí para ver los del nuevo suplemento de otoño (hay cuatro de ella, los primeros en el enlace). Oh bueno, estoy SUPER emocionada pues mi querida amiga ha sacado una nueva línea de digis (imagenes digitales para nuestras creaciones) que están hermosos!! No soy muy fanática de los digis, pero de seguro de estos compraré muchos, jeje (ya tengo algunos, buaaa!!)

Yo quiero muchisimo a Mabelle, pues ella es un ser humano increible y además SUPER talentosa! Al principio solo me gustaban sus imagenes, pues no la conocía, pero tan pronto la conocí en KS City en el Seminario de TAC 2007, oh WOW, la historia es otra!! Esta chica es tan dulce como sus imagenes, es sencillamente un privilegio poder contar con su amistad y poder conocerla. Conectamos rápido y desde entonces tiene un lugar muy, muy especial en mi corazón! 75, 700 & 1 Card for Dad!

No, I am not crazy, lol!!! This numbers mean something, but what? 75 Followers and 700 posts! I am a happy girl today! Hope we can get to the 100 followers soon, because I want to know who is going to get the Candy, lol! I am sure you want to know too. Tomorrow I will share another sneak peek of what the Candy is going to include (don't forget to check here to see a lil more!).

As I told you yesterday, here is another card for dad! When I colored this lil cutie from Cheery Thoughts! first thing on my mind was DAD. For me dad is always a star, a hero! at least that's the way I see my dad and the way my daughters see their father as well. I can tell you, both of them are Super Dads and Super Heroes! This card is dedicated to both of them and to every Dad that takes his job with the love and patience it's required. Keep it up and show the world that there still hope! God bless Fathers!

PS The flowers you see in the picture my lil daughter gave them to me when she was taking a walk with daddy!

No, no estoy loca, jeje! Estos números significan algo, pero ¿qué? bueno pues significa que ya hay 75 Seguidoras y que ya he escrito 700 mensajes en este blog! Soy definitivamente una chica feliz! Espero que podamos llegar a los 100 seguidores pronto, porque quiero saber quién va a recibir el "candy", jeje! Estoy segura de que tu también quieres saber. Mañana voy a compartir otra probadita de lo que el "candy" va a incluir (no se olviden de lo que ya les había mostrado aquí!).

Como les dije ayer, aquí les comparto otra tarjeta para papá! Cuando colorié esta bella muñequita del set de Mabelle "Cheery Thoughts"! lo primero que vino a mi mente fue Papá. Para mi papá es siempre una estrella, un héroe! al menos esa es la forma que veo a mi papá y la forma en que mis hijas ven a su padre también. Les puedo decir, ambos son Super Héroes y Super Estrellas! Esta tarjeta está dedicada a ellos dos y a cada papá que toma su trabajo con el amor y la paciencia que son necesarios. Sigan así para demostrar al mundo que aún hay esperanza! Sé que es así! Dios bendiga a todos esos padres!

PS Las flores que ven en la foto, son unas flores que mi hija menor me trajo cuando salió a dar una vueltita con su papá!

Happy Heart Day!!

Just a quick note to let you know that I am thinking of you and that your friendship is really a blessing in my life! Thanks for visiting me and for write comments here, you don't have an idea on how much I value every one of them!! I check my e-mail looking for your comments, lol!! Hope you had a great day with your dear ones, I can tell you I have an amazing one. I did strawberry & cream cheese heart sandwiches for the girls during the morning, their favorite lunch and for snack I baked some pecans cookies yesterday night for them and I put them in a lil tent I did with my scor pal and my TAC stamps that said a treat for you! They love it. We did a card swap and the table was full of cards! We read aloud the cards and actually we had a great day even when we don't celebrate Valentines, lol!! How about yours?

About the cards! I used More Mimi, Flower Punch and stamps from The Angel Company and the label diecut is from the Storybook Cartridge from Cricut. Hope you like them!

Sólo una pequeña nota para dejarles saber que estoy pensando en ustedes y que su amistad es realmente una bendición en mi vida! Gracias por visitarme y por dejar sus mensajitos aquí, no tienen idea de lo mucho que valoro cada uno de ellos!! Por las mañanas reviso mi correo electrónico en busca de sus comentarios, jeje!! Espero que hayan tenido un gran día con sus seres queridos, les puedo decir que el mio fue riquísimo. En la mañana hice unos sándwiches de jalea de fresa y queso crema en forma de corazón para las chicas, de almuerzo su comida favorita y para la merienda galletas de nueces horneadas por mi!! siii anoche las hice para ellos y las puse en una carterita que hice con mi scorpal y mis sellos de TAC que decía: "a treat for you!" Les encantó. Luego hicimos un intercambio de tarjetas y la mesa estaba llena de tarjetas! Leimos en voz alta las tarjetas y en realidad tuvimos un gran día, incluso cuando no celebramos San Valentín, lol!! ¿Qué tal el tuyo?

A card that didn't make the catalog!

It was sooo cool to see some of my creations at the Seminar Boards this year!! Here is one of those! I submited this card for TAC Design Call (in 2008), but later TAC changed back to one year catalog in June (and two Magalogues: Spring (February) and Fall (September) and when this one came out the set I used here was on the list of Discontined Stamps, lol!! I love that set (Deco Designs by Mabelle Ramirez). Hope you like it and if you have the stamp this is another idea to use it. I also used the Spanish Sentiment set by Mabelle and the Juliette paper!

No saben la alegría que me dio ver algunas de mis creaciones en los Carteles del Seminario este año (eran varias, jeje!!). Esta es una de ellas. La envié para el Design Call del catálogo (en el 2008), pero luego TAC cambió a solo un catálogo al año en Junio (y los dos Magalogues: Primavera (Febrero) y Otoño (Septiembre)) y el sello que usé como punto focal estaba en la lista de sellos a descontinuar, jeje. A mi me encanta este set (Deco Designs de Mabelle Ramirez). Espero que te guste mi tarjeta y sea de inspiración para ti, ya sea si tienes este set o con alguno otro! Además, en esta tarjeta utilizé el Set Sentimientos en Español (también diseñado por Mabelle) y la colección Juliette!

World Card Making Day!!

Today we have a blast celebrating the WCMD! We did 16 cards and an awesome/gorgeous box to keep them in!! I JUST LOVE this days when I can met with my dear friends and we can create and share!! I really LOVE this days!!

I'm going to share with you later the cards (we made 8 designs and made 2 of each) and then I create a box using the Scor-Pal! My oldest daughter asked me about 2 months ago to some drawers for her so she can keep her cards in! and I NEED TO DO SO! because she thinks I'm CREATIVE/WONDER Woman, lol!! Some kind of Wonder woman mix up with a LOT OF CREATIVITY! and she asked me to do a lot of creative things (and as a MOM I HAVE TO DO IT, right?) So I start creating her drawers and I thought it was a great idea than I just need to flip and get a nice box!! You have to see the results!!

I'm sorry but today I'm a lil bit tired, and upload the pictures and do a slide show with them is going to take a lot of time, so I will share everything later with you! I promise you are not going to be dissapointed and you're going to enjoy it a lot!! I did the template with instructions so you can do the box at your home!! as a gift for the WCMD! The Owl is here!

Yes, Finally I did an owl's card! This one is from Fall Fun one of the new Mabelle's stamps! I just love it!! don't you? is so easy to work with! you can even stamp it with PINK!! lol! I love that girl on that set and I did a card with it, but I sent it to a dear friend without taking a picture!! soooo I need to redo it and then share it with you!! and of course I color it with PINK!

About the card! this is a quick and simple card you can make in less than 5 minutes!! the kind of card we need to be working if we want to have all Christmas cards and all lil gifts we have to do for the Christmas season! I used the Fall Fun set, Spanish Sentiment set and A little Whimsy paper pad this paper is sooo awesome you get 36 (8 X 8) papers for just $6.95!!! you can do a lot of cards!!! and even is great for doing my favorite scrapbook layouts!! (I love the 8 X 8 size!!)

Yeahhh, IS HERE!!

My Spanish Sentiments stamp set!! Wohoooo!! I can't wait to share with you some projects, so I'm going to start with this card! The stamps and pattern paper here are designed by Mabelle!! When I knew about the set in Spanish, I ran to my workshop to start working on this card! The girl's stamp and the paper are both discontinued, but since I love them I keep them. I color my image with BIC markers, I really like them. Hope you like it as much as I do! I stamped the Feliz Navidad (Merry Christmas) direct to the green paper because the sentiment is bigger than what I calculate, lol!!
