Wednesday of Challenge!!

I goofed out! lol! I did my post so early today that I didn't notice that today is Wednesday! so the challenge for this week is to do ANYTHING SCRAPBOOKING!! you can create a Scrapbook Layout in any size, any shape it can be square, rectangle, circle, oval! you name it!! the thing is that you do some scrapbooking today in honor of the NSD! (National Scrapbooking Day) that is this Saturday, May 2.

Here is the Layout I did for today's challenge at Paper Wings! thanks God the challenge was to do a 20 minutes layout! I used the Lily Anna collection, Bold Flourishes and Punctuation (both soon to be discontinued and with 25% off) and the Alpha set, is discontinued!

NO Square Scrapbooking Layout!

Yeah!! I am doing scrapbooking! Since this Saturday is NSD! Paper Wings (an Angels Only forum) is having the NSD week event!! National Scrapbooking Week!

This week at Paper Wings (an Angels Only Forum) we are celebrating NSD week!! and yesterday challenge was to do a Progressive Page!! here is my take! You can visit the gallery here and is open to everyone!

I started using a 6 X 6 white cardstock where I add the picture and stamp a sentiment from Lineart Sentiment, then I add this to a 8 X 8 green cardstock from Mimi. I also stamp and cut some flowers from Graphic Blooms and two strips of Catelynne! I add the scalloped cardstock and mount it on a 12 X 12 Kraft cardstock where I stamp some Flourishes from Playful Parenthesis and a line of dots from Linear Sentiment!

Hope you enjoy it! It was a real challenge for me because I like better the 8 X 8, so at that point I thought my layout was complete!! then to mount it on a 12 X 12, was a real challenge! and I need to point out that I started this journey as a 12 X 12 scrapbooker! can you tell?

April WOW Blogger!

I am soooooo happy to share with you this month WOW blogger! Her name is Deb Router. I met Deb through the Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers # 4, she is my sister and visiting her blog is so inspiring!! She is such a great artist! When I asked her if she will accept been my WOW blogger for April and she told me yes I was sooooooooo happ and now happier to feature her here! She is just a WOW blogger!

Here is a little bit about Deb! "I am a SAHM with 4 school age children, I live in the Scottish Highlands, a beautiful part of the world! I have crafted in some shape or form since I was a little girl. Did you forget something?

Oh, well!! I did and I feel terrible. I tried to remember everything, and I used to do so, but I guess I can't do that anymore! What do I forget? To send a card!! I will love to have all dates in my mind and that something sound whenever I need to send a card (about 3 days before?). But that's not happening! I need to be more organized. What system do you use? What works for you? I really need something! I am going to try to add everything to my Palm and that way I can get an alert! That sounds cool; the problem now is to get everything together to add it there, lol! Should I put an announcement here, on Twitter, Facebook and my yahoo groups asking for birthday’s date to all my friends? That way I can add them right away, right? Please give me some advice! I need to work this out so I don’t miss anyone’s important dates!

A bunny wants to tell you...

Here is another card made with the Some Bunny set and the Willoughby Paper Collection, . I have been challenge, by Jany, to get out of my comfort zone!! She knows me very well!! so she knew that this are not my go to products to create one card every week for a month!! lol. But I am sure enjoying it. This one is my favorite, so far, I guess every week I improve using this coloring stamps!! I have been tempted to go with paper piecing, but I challenge myself not to do it and go to pencils and markers to color!! what a great time I have every week! Thank you Jany for the Challenge! Where April is going?

WOW! today is 23, time is sure flying!! Oh well, don't forget to get the April's promotions as soon as you can because is only one week to go!! This card is a quick and easy card for those times when you noticed that you should have done a card!! (but you didn't!). I like how this colors look together! and the simple and sophisticated look that they have! I used the Booko Blessings set again! I am loving this sentiments!!

The other day I promised someone to share my Bread Pudding Recipe, so here it goes:

¼ cup Margarine (I use canola)

2 cups Brown Sugar

4 Beaten Eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Cinamon

1 pd Whole Wheat Bread

2 ½ cups Soy Milk

Pre-heat oven to 350. Beat eggs. In another bowl mix the sugar with the margarine. Mix together the eggs with the sugar and margarine mix. Add the milk, cinamon and vanilla. Crumble the bread on top of the mix and blend it together. Pour the mixture in a grease pand and bake for about 45-50 mins. Enjoy it!

Wednesday of Challenge!

I love this image sooo much!! What you think, is she cute or what? This was the last card I made using this two sets (Little Stinkers and Little Things) Don't you love how they go together? Well, I promise you to tell you a secret, right? The secret is, you can not tell anyone, okay!! Well, the secret is that I love this cards so much!! A little stinker wants a bath?

Not just a bath, a BUBBLE bath!! I told you that I couldn't stop doing cards with this two sets (Little Stinkers and Little Things) it was so much fun!! they was almost made for each other, lol. Are you working the inside of your cards?

Do you remember this Wednesday of Challenge? Another bunny?

Some bunnies want to see you!

Is the Celebrate the Seasons set. I cut the bunnies faces and then punch circles to create the boddy. I use Catelynne papers and the blossoms and buttons are from the Embelishment jars. I am not a big fan of paper piecing, not that I don't like it, just that I am kind of lazy to do it, lol!

Isn't this girl just cute?

I love Mabelle Favorites set! but this cute little girl is just to die for. She looks so sweet, so sassy! that I need to work with it! I used the Catelynne collection because it looks so her! Do you like it? I hope so because I really have fun with it!! lol!

Floral Vines and FREE download

I told you the other day that I worked with April's SOTM "Floral Vines" and the FREE download papers, so I need to share with you! I have to tell you that I am in LOVE with this SOTM set! Is so elegant, sweet, romantic and the list can grow! but something I have to tell you is that with a little touch of color this set comes to life in an amazing way!! I have use it with markers, pencils and chalks and everything looks great!! Scrapbook with the FREE download

As you may know I host a scrapbook challenge once a month on Paper Wings Angels Only Forum, so yesterday was my day and my challenge was to use our FREE download paper to do a Scrapbook page! you should also use our amazing stamps to get that pop that we always want on our pages, but keep it simple and fun! Most time people are scare to scrapbook because they think is a lot of work or you need to embelish every inch of your page! and is not true! I want to preserve the treasures of my heart in a fun and simple way! The main goal is just to preserve your legacy, your memories, not to do fancy pages that you can pay more atention to the embelishments than to the photo! so here is my sample! I love those three sets and together with the FREE download paper that TAC is offering us! these are awesome!!

About the picture! yes, that was a Fantastical Fun moment, it was at Seminar 2008 when Mischelle and Cathy was giving me my crown for Star Recruiter! We laugh so much! but I can't tell you what was about, what happened at Wichita stay in Wichita, so if you are an angel and have the opportunity to go to Seminar this year, I will say go for it! Is so much fun! Can't wait to see you there!

Some bunny met Willoughby!

WOW! this was a hard one for me!! but I made it!! My dear friend and downline Jany, asked me if I can design some cards with a kit she will send me. Of course I said yes! Is an honor for me. I did knew wich papers and images she was sending me! but when I start working with it, it was soooo hard!! I called her and she was there with me through almost all the process, lol! Wohooooooo NEW sets!

How cool!! Yesterday I used the Mabelle Favorites for the Wednesday of Challenge card, I couldn't upload it because I had a migraine at night that it was impossible, so here it is. I got yesterday some new rubber: Mabelle Favorites, Floral Vines SOTM and Sweet Things! and Today I reedemed my Gift Certificate for becoming Executive, and now I can't wait to play with more NEW rubber! lol!!

Wednesday of Challenge!

Wohoooooo! I am posting early, yes, I decide that I am going to post the challenge during the morning even without my sample that way you have all day to post and share with us! I am planning to create a banner so you can add it to your blog as well. I hope this helps you to get here and create something for the challenge. Who doesn't love challenges?

Todays challenge is to create with CARDSTOCK only! is a really easy peasy challenge! with cardstock (that usually we have lots of it) we can stamp on it and create our own designs and we also can leave it as is and work with the cutest image we have so that imagae can pop on our creations! I LOVE to create with cardstock only! it looks simple, smart and sophisticated! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE pattern paper, but sometimes mixing different cardstock colors give that pop that we are looking for our creations! Have fun and get back here to add your link!

I have something to share!! "Estoy Celebrando"

WOW!! I am sooo happy!! I just became Executive with TAC! Is a goal that I had since I became Manager after a year of becoming a Demo with TAC. I just want to share a little bit about me with all of you.

First, I felt in love with TAC since the very first moment I get the catalog on my hands! I didn't signed up inmediately because I didn't get the correct information right away! BUT, after looking around over the net I found Jackie! (my dear upline) she was sooooooooo nice with me! She gave me all the information I need and I signed under her on June - July, 2006. I did it just to get the discount on my personal supplies, so I just gave away the first box of catalogs the starter kit came with! (to some friends I have that do scrapbooking and stamping and haven't see TAC yet). A couple of days later, I got a call from one of them ordering $250 in products! I was soooooo happy! and excited, I told DH: "honey I think this is something else! I am going to give it a try and see what happen". I keep sharing with my friends about it and I did the Perfect Start Program completely! YEAH!! I received $500 in stamps I was the happiest girl on earth! So I keep the good work sharing my passion for TAC and in no time I became Team Leader and by Seminar 2007 (a year later) I became Manager and thanks to DH I went to Seminar that same year and I make it to the Club Med (a luncheon for Managers and above). It was soooo cool! meeting your fellow angels and TAC staff! Seminar was the must exciting thing that happened to me since I married and have my two precious daughters. It was incredibly fun! and that wasn't everything, on Seminar Banquet, I was having so much fun and having a good time when TAC start the Awards Ceremony (I didn't have an idea on what was that) when they called my name for START Recruiter award! and then for Rising Star award, ohhhhh, I was WOW! I cried, I laugh, it was just the BEST time ever! When I came from Seminar I was really excited and want to share it with everyone. I keep sharing with others my passion, recruiting, teaching, just having FUN! times flies and Seminar again! I won the STAR Recruiter award again and I was featured as Catalogue DESIGNER! it was Awesome!! (My goal was to made Executive by that year but I didn't made it because of my sales, I recruit all my customers because I am so passionate about the opportunity that is contagious, lol). But here I am April, 2009 just 2 years and 9 months since I became an angel and I am Executie, lol!! Can you tell I am really excited? I hope you can celebrate with me! Here I share a little bit of what happened in this two years with TAC! This pictures said so much!! I will love to add more pictures later for this year! I haven't been so active with classes and such, but I keep working through my blog, my newsletter and phone calls. The best part of having your own business is that you work as you can, and do what is best for God, your family and you!

I also want to take the time to say THANKS! GRACIAS! to all of you! Without your support and your friendship, I wouldn't make it! Thanks to my downlines, my customers, my fellow angels, my friends, TAC staff and all of you that leave comments here for me! YOU are my inspiration!
