A quick card and an update!

Here I am!! First, I want to say Happy Easter to all of you!! I pray that the risen Christ finds place in your heart today and always! It's wonderful to know that He has given His life for us and also the Salvation we don't deserve! We have to be grateful for all that and we should give Him the place He really deserves! God bless you!

Second, I know I have not been a good blogger, right? I am really sorry about it! Thanks for your messages that you miss me!! I really appreciate it. I'ts the first time I haven't post in so long. I just want to let you know that everything is okay, I am just busy, very busy! Busy with the house, the homeschool and life in general! I think is the first time I feel soooo tired at night that I just want to sleep and I am a night person, lol! I am trying to work with the blog so hopefuly I can blog this week everyday (I already have some stuff to share, wohooo!!!) so don't go far!

Here is a quick card I did just to do something. I can't beleive that I have a couple of colored images sitting there waiting for me to do something with them. But I don't have time to think right now, lol, so I just cut 3 flowers from More Mimi paper using the Accent Essential cartridge in my E. Then I layer them and use a brad to hold them togehter. I cut a flourish from the same cartridge and then of course I need to stamp something! I stamped the sentiment from one of the newest Level A set and the dots lines are from Linear Sentiment, I love that set, everytime I need to add a detail I go for it!

Hope you like it and come back soon! I will be doing something with my images to post tomorrow! Tonight 24 (the TV show) is going to be 2 hours and Damages is almost finishing, just 2 episodes left!!! I can't wait to see what happen!!

Aquí estoy! Primero, quiero desearle una Feliz Pascua de Resurrección (aunque un poco tarde). Oro para que el Cristo resucitado encuentre lugar en tu corazón hoy y siempre! Es maravilloso saber que Él ha dado Su vida por nosotros y nos ha dado la salvación que no merecemos! Tenemos que estar agradecidos por todo eso y debemos darle el lugar que realmente El merece! Que Dios te bendiga!

Segundo, sé que no me he portado muy bien, ¿verdad? Me siento muy mal por ello! Gracias por sus mensajes de que me extrañan! Se lo agradezco con el corazón. Es la primera vez que no he actualizado el blog por tanto tiempo. Quiero dejarles saber que todo está bien, sólo que estoy ocupada, muy ocupada! Ocupada con la casa, la escuela en casa y la vida en general! Creo que es la primera vez me siento taaaan cansada por la noche que sólo quiero dormir y eso que soy una persona nocturna, jeje! Estoy trabjando para poner el blog al día esta semana, por lo que espero tener algo para todos los días, así que no te vayas muy lejos!

Aquí comparto una tarjeta rápida que hice sólo para hacer algo. No puedo creer que tengo un par de imágenes coloriadas ahí esperando a que yo haga algo con ellas. Pero no tengo tiempo para pensar en este momento, jeje, así que corté 3 flores de papel "More Mimi" utilizando el cartucho "Accent Essentials" en mi Cricut E. Luego las uní con un brad y corté unos "flourishes" usando el mismo cartucho y por supuesto que necesito para estampar algo! Usé uno de los más recientes sets de Nivel A para el sentimiento y las líneas de puntos son con el set "Linear Sentiments" que me encanta, cada vez que tengo que agregar un detalle busco este set!

Espero que les guste y recuerda visitarme pronto! Voy a hacer algo con mis imágenes para publicar mañana! Esta noche es 24 (el programa de televisión) y va a ser de 2 horas y luego "Damages" que se está acabando, sólo 2 episodios más! No puedo esperar a ver qué pasa, jeje!! Que tengas una linda semana!

Did you miss me?

Oh well, I missed you! I missed to post here soooo much!! Hope you still read my lil blog, lol. Last week was FULL of birthdays celebrations so I was busy, busy!! then Saturday I had a Christmas Gift Class and I was also working with the preps for that! (we had so much fun!!).

Today I want to start sharing a card I did using a sketch from a Motivational at the Paper Wings Forum! We had a Holiday Celebration Event and there was lots of challenges and inspiration to help us out, I couldn't make it either to the celebration BUT yesterday night I did some of the challenges so this WHOLE week I will be updating with those projects PLUS the projects from my class!! Que mucho extrañé venir por aquí! Echaba de menos publicar "updates" de mi!! Espero que todavía lean mi pequeño blog, jeje! La semana pasada estubo llena de celebraciones de cumpleaños, así que estaba ocupada, ocupadísima!! entonces el sábado tuve una clase de Regalos de Navidad y tambié estuve trabajando con los preparativos para eso! (Nos divertimos muchísimo!).

Hoy quiero comenzar compartiendo una tarjeta que hice con un "sketch" de un reto del Foro de "Paper Wings"! Esta semana hubo una celebración de navidad y habían varios retos e inspiración para que ayudarnos a prepararnos con nuestros proyectos, yo no pude participar durante la celebración, pero anoche logré hacer algunos de los desafíos por lo que esta semana iré actualizando con esos proyectos y los proyectos de mi clase del sábado!! MIA: the Return!

WOW, a week without posting!! Oh, I did miss you a lot!! First, I am doing great, just busy with life, but perfectly fine. Everyone here is doing pretty good thanks God that keep us close to Him. Second, THANKS for your friendship and your comments during the time I have been with my little blog. I hope you had enjoy your day giving thanks to God that gives us many blessings each minute, each hour, each day!! We are so bless that God loves us sooo much and gives us so many blessings, right? Every minute, every hour, every day we should give thanks to Him for everything, and today we celebrate the blessing that we have food to eat.

Here is a mini card I did with leftovers I had on the table, I couldn't post here and not share anything, but beleive, I haven't done so much!! Take care during this weekend, hope you buy a lot and spend a little!!

WOW, una semana sin publicar!! Oh, las extraño un montón!! En primer lugar, estoy muy bien, sólo ocupado con la vida, pero perfectamente bien. Aquí todo el mundo está perfectamente bien gracias a Dios que nos mantienen cerca de él. En segundo lugar, gracias por su amistad y sus comentarios durante el tiempo que he estado con mi pequeño blog. Espero que hayas disfrutado tu día dando gracias a Dios que nos da muchas bendiciones de cada minuto, cada hora, cada día! Somos tan bendecidos, pues Dios nos ama tanto y nos da tantas bendiciones, ¿no? Cada minuto, cada hora, cada día debemos dar gracias a Dios por todo, y hoy celebramos la bendición que tenemos de comer.

Aquí comparto una mini tarjeta que hice con las sobras que tenía sobre la mesa, no podía escribirles y no comparte nada, pero en realidad no he hecho mucho!! Espero que estés muy bien durante este fin de semana, que compres mucho y gastes poco!!

Cute Bunch of Mini Cards

I told you I have been working with a custom order I got. Well, I finished that during the weekend and I decided to add a mini card to go with each gift! She asked me to use this color combo and I LOVE it!! It looks sooooo beautiful!

I hope she likes them as well, because I really like how they turned. I will try to do some more stuff with this color combo, I think is the very first time I used it!

Ingredients: Linear Sentiments, Sweet Goodies, Flower and Circle Punches, DCWV cardstock, Crop-a-dile and Corner Chomper.

Les había comentado que estaba trabajando en una orden que me habían hecho de unos regalitos. Pues, ya la terminé durante el fin de semana y decidí hacer unas mini tarjetas en combinación con los regalos! Ella me pidió usar esta combinación y de verdad que me ENCANTO! Se ve super hermosa!

Espero que a ella le gusten las tarjetitas, porque a mi me gustó mucho como quedaron. Trataré de hacer más con esta combinación, creo que es la primera vez que la uso!

Scrapbooking Challenge!

Yep! it was time again for another challenge at Paper Wings Forum (the only Angels Forum). As you know I am the host of the Scrapbooking Challenge there and I love it!! is so much fun to come with challenges for your fellow sisters! Our main goal in the Forum is to help us each other, so my main focus is to give ideas on how to introduce Scrapbooking to FUNshops! My challenge this time was to showcase on of our AWESOME SWIC Collections adding the extra touch and FUN with our GORGEOUS stamps! I choose the Mimi Collection and the Linear Sentiment Stamps set! Here I decorated the cardstock with the doted stamp from the LS Set and then added the White Gel Pen to get an extra effect! I really like the results! because is a simple and quick layout that you can WOWed at it! I love to show others how easy can be to do scrapbook! you don't have to incorporate all the NEW techniques and trends to do some scrapbook! you just need to presserve the treasures of your heart! and get those pictures out of those boxes! Haven't start doing scrapbooking! I challenge you to start now! and share with me your work!

In this layout I also used: Just a note (a great set for journaling) and Family is Forever! I love this set for this kind of picture! We enjoy so much at El Morro in Old San Juan!

National Scrapbooking Week!

This week at Paper Wings (an Angels Only Forum) we are celebrating NSD week!! and yesterday challenge was to do a Progressive Page!! here is my take! You can visit the gallery here and is open to everyone!

I started using a 6 X 6 white cardstock where I add the picture and stamp a sentiment from Lineart Sentiment, then I add this to a 8 X 8 green cardstock from Mimi. I also stamp and cut some flowers from Graphic Blooms and two strips of Catelynne! I add the scalloped cardstock and mount it on a 12 X 12 Kraft cardstock where I stamp some Flourishes from Playful Parenthesis and a line of dots from Linear Sentiment!

Hope you enjoy it! It was a real challenge for me because I like better the 8 X 8, so at that point I thought my layout was complete!! then to mount it on a 12 X 12, was a real challenge! and I need to point out that I started this journey as a 12 X 12 scrapbooker! can you tell?

Wednesday of Challenge

A lil late!! I have to explain, I was trying to do this early today and I just start feeling worst and worst! I need to go to bed to try to feel better, my head was exploiting! The pain was sooooo bad! I have a reall bad synus, I went to the dr and he said that my synus looks bad, my throat is really red and I have fever! and I went just because my noose hurt, lol! well I feel a lil better now so here is the challenge!

Do something for a special person! and you can't use HEARTS! or LOVE words! (take a break from my Love & Hearts creations, lol) I did this card using Rustic Chic paper! (I love this one!! only $6.95 for 36 (8 X 8) papers!), Just Because set and Linear Sentiments set.

Wednesday of Challenge!

Another Wednesday!!! and the same challenge! lol! Today my day was hard, since we have the Hurricane Warning! I kept working to be prepare for the worst scenario we can get! so I don't do much stamping today! but yes I do some, lol! I sent some stamps and stuff that I sold yesterday and I created a lil note to go with. I did take a photo but when I uploaded it wasn't great so I need to do one again to share with you! lol, but this card you see here! I did it today too, is for a friend (I can't tell you now because I want to surprise her!). Hope she likes it! and of course you too! I use some scraps on my table, the Linear Sentiments set, a Pink felt flower and the Spanish Sentiment set, lol! yes again!! I used some texture on it with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and the Corrugator.

Inside pages - yesterday share!

Opsssssss!! I forgot to add the rest of the album yesterday!! Since I don't have internet access from my computer I depends on when I can get into my DH's computer, lol!! and sometimes the time flies!! and I need to run to do something else! sorry for that!

First project from Project Day class!!

I want to share with you one of the projects we did Saturday!! We use the Penelope collection to create 3 projects!! and the one I am sharing with you today is a 6 x 6 mini album!! I love the results what you think? if you have TAC catalog the instructions are there and we also did it at Seminar, is way to fun to do it and clean and simple!! you can do it quickly so you can start with your Christmas presents today! if you don't have a catty and need one, let me know! and if you want the details for the project e-mail me!!

My BLOGOVERSARY!!

I can't beleive it!! this year goes so fast!! I want to say THANKS to all of you that visit my blog and comment either about my life and my artwork. I have to say that I feel like I have TONS of friends around the world, INTERNET is awesome and BLOGGER is too, lol!! is really nice to have this space to write and share with you! and is better when I read your comments, it is really a blessing for me! I also want to say thanks to Kelly L my dear SBsiter! because she was celebrating her blogoversary yesterday, so I decide to check when is mine!! and that way I just noticed that I started to blog regulary on August 8, 2007!! it was so much fun! (well I open the account with blogger back in 2005 BUT just last year! I decided to start working with it regularly, well not that much during summer, right?)
