Selling your handmade cards?

**See below for the version in Spanish**

Have you think to sell your handmade cards? I have been asked sometimes how you should they can start doing this because after made a few cards, family and friends start asking about buying some cards. Here are some tips that I hope help you out in this new adventure! that can be very profitable!

Starting your business: you can decide how are you want this to be. You can earn a few extra dollars or to get one or two payments with it or you can think big and pay your mortgage+ with it! Whatever you want to do you should start with this!

Finding a Market: this is one key element! You can think first about selling to family and friends and then go beyond that to a local business, craft fares or via Internet, find what you want to do and how! You need to decide in advance if you want a few extra dollas or an income, this is going to help you out if you want to do some cards or a lot of cards!

If you are going to use stamps, you need to check the Angel Policy of the stamps you are going to use! I can tell you that TAC Angel Policy have no limitations or restrictions other than they have to be hand-stamped, not reproduced for any electronical medium. That's one of the reasons Mischelle Smith started The Angel Company!

Presentation: WOW! that is what you want everyone say about your cards! I will sugest to have your cards in clear envelopes and inside the card with the white envelope, that way everything looks clean and professional. In the other hand this is better for you as well because you can guarantee that your cards aren't going to get dirty. Don't forget to sign your cards with your name, phone number and other important information like your wesite if you have one, this way your customers and the ones that receive your cards can contact you for further orders.

Remember: Just do you plan and specify what you want to do and stick to it! Get busy creating, get busy telling everyone about your new adventure and keep it doing it! To your success!

If you want to start creating and need any products for your new adventure, don't forget to visit my online store where you can find anything you need! Remember you can use TAC stamps for anything you want to sell (the only thing you have to do is hand-stamp your images). Alguna vez has pensando en vender tus tarjetas?

Favorite Tools: A Review

This weekend I had a meeting and we was just talking plain scrapbooking! While we were talking about anything and everything I noticed my passion for two awesome tools: Scor Pal and Bind it All. I love everything I use and I don't buy anything I don't feel passion for it (well just sometimes, lol), but I want to talk about this tools because they are so versatile! I love to create boxes for everything and even when I had the Expression and the Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge, I love to do them with my Scor Pal, I love that I can just design it as I want to and I love to design them. I also love the embossing styles you can add to your cards! Is an amazing tool!! that you can buy with confidence and if you want to add something good to your inventory get one of this!

Some projects and templates using the Scor Pal

I am also a mini album lover so for me the Bind it All is a required tool! (DH bought the blue one for me and when the pink one came out, I sold the blue one (with DH permission, lol) just to get the PINK one! because I love pink!) I love the professional look that this tool add to my mini albums and needless to said that I do mini albums, mini note books, post it note holders, calendar and so much more including bind some projects for DH! I even use it to punch cardstock or paper to use in my cards, it gives a great look! is amazing how easy this tools works and how much I use them. Because you know that sometimes we buy tools that sit in our studios without been used once! I highly recommend the Bind it All.

Some projects using the Bind it All

Next time you have some spare money to invest in a NEW tool that you can use over and over, think about the Scor Pal and the BIA. Remember with TAC you can host a FUNshop, Catalog Party, be in one of my Hostess Clubs and get these at half price, ask me more! I will love to help you out.

The project here is a Post it Note Holder I did using the Bind it All. I sent this project to the hostess of one of my online hostess clubs! I used TAC Black and White download papers, Black and White Ribbon, DCWV Chipboard Stacks, Booko Blessings and Elizabeth Embelishments, hope you all like it, specially my hostess!

Are you organized enough?

I can tell you I am not, with the lost of my computer and having to pay to get my data transfered to MY external drive (yep, you read right I had one but I just sent there the family photos NOT everything), I learned a lesson! I need to get more organize and try to think twice before I do something. I know I have read a lot about this but I haven't done it! Are you doing the same or are you organize?

I have been thinking about this (beleive not having the computer I have had lots of time to think!) specially about scrapbooking those pictures I had on my computer (Thanks GOD I didn't lose any photo). I think that one reason many people do nothing with their pictures is that they think they are not organized enough. It is not reasonable to think that you need to have everything sooo organized previous to scrapbook those pictures. I think that the best way to do scrapbooking is going first with those pictures you love and then keep going with the rest, don't stop because you can't start from the beginning!! just START today! you are going to be inspire when you really DO something!!

You can start with the Mother's day pictures, Graduation pictures from this year, Christmas if you want, but let start it. I mention this themes because you can still have those fresh in your memory! I think the secret is to start working on you current pictures, because you still in LOVE with them. Print them now and work them right away, don't think that you need to have TIME to do your MASTERPIECE! No, they are for you to remember and for the next generations to see what was going on, not for winning a Master contest! Preserve your memories today, remember those are the treasures of your heart, don't get them stuck in a computer or in a box, scrap them today and share them with your family, is a great time you can enjoy during this summer!!

Need some stuff to start, contact me for ideas or shop with me here. The Angel Company have lots of products to help you start, remember don't wait any longer start today!
