Ribbon bonanza!

Wahooooo! Today I was doing some stuff that I need to do in order to get my Counselor License! and one was to get a Employment Certification, so I was near a Fabric Store that I used to visit when I worked over there and decided to see what they have now, specially looking for some white ribbon! and do you know what I find? They have this 10 yds. spool and they were marked at 5/ $1.00 so that is 50 yds for $1.00! I was so happy because they were white, light yellow, light gray and light peach! they have the grosgrain and the satin one, just what I was looking for! So I got 25 spools for a lil bit more than $5 bucks that was a super finding for me, because here in Puerto Rico you don't get that kind of bargain that much!!

I play today and I have FUN!

Yeahhhhhhhh!! it was such a great thing to play with my Scor Pal again! I have being using it to do mini baskets and such but never to try it in cards! but I was getting ansious to do so! and today I did it!! yeahhhhhhhh, this was the result, is such an easy! to do it and it looks so classy! I just love my Scor Pal! and of course I was crazy to play with this set too, but I am a lil bit shy to color images, but I decide, well what can happen? so I give it a try and I just love this lil kid with her icecream, my DH said that he doesn't like it because it looks like Matilda! LOL, he is soooo funny!

Anything Goes Challenge

Well, I am really sad because today I have problems with the electricity, so I have no pics to add here! and that is really soemthing for me, lol. I just love it!

I have to said, that I love to surf on the net for ideas! and I was looking to do something with squares! and specially a card with this color combo (Pink and brown), do I ever tell you that I love PINK! well if I haven't tell you that I need to do it now! I love PINK and with brown, ohhh, is just a fascination! is a mix of brownies with strawberries do you get the idea? Well I decided to take a look at Nichole's blog! and I found this post! I just love that color combo she used and since today is the last day for last week challenge! Your favorite color combo I decided to use my favorite color combo! Spring Suplement is HERE!

I received the happy mail today!!

Wow, today I was ansiously waiting for the mailman!! specially to get my hard copy of the newsletter lol, and I also got my oval scalloped punches, an order from TAC and of course!! my NEWSLETTER with the Spring Suplement! OHHH you have to see the Suplement, the stamps are gorgeous, but the ideas there are pretyy good!! you can cut them and then file them, they have instructions and pictures, just another collection item!! lol (of course like the newsletter)

A big moment in time!

My girls!! yes, a LO!!

Ohhh, yeah!! I have this photos for about a week on my table, but today I said, I have to scrap this! so I just start working with the card and the LO while DH was busy reading some articles! on his research for the book he is writing (you know I am his secretary, so if he needs my help I have to leave my projects!)

I was trying to do a Double LO but with only two pictures I prefer to do a Single one! this was at a Mall in Texas during our vacations! I love to take pictures at every moment and during the days I was at Seminar when I went to my room I start looking at all the pictures, I sure missed them! and the little things are just BIG moments when we are far away!

I was surfing a lil bit today! and I decided to play two more challenges! Caardvarks and CPS so I did both with this card. The sketch is from CPS #53 and using the Love Fest theme Friendship from Caardvarks For this one I used Catelynne papers, Treasure it and other saying stamp set, some stickles in silver and some lace I had on my stash.

Tags for a swap

I love to swap, because you can learn a lot about your friends and abot crafting in general. You can see what others are doing and you can learn! So this year I am doing a lot of swaps, specially smaller swaps, for about 4-5 creations because I used to do swaps on a 25-30 group and that was a lot of work, now I can do this and have fun! So today I was planning to go to the PO to send some swaps, catalogs and stuff and I forgot that I have to do some tags for a swap!! so I ran an start working on them before PO close!!

This are my creations, the Be artistic one it was inspired by the card I did the other day! (BTW, I send that card as a RAK to a friend) and the Happy Mother's Day one I just need to use a bold stamp!! but it turns pretty good for me!

A simple card, a lovely set!

Do I ever tell you that I love Spring Dream set? I really love this set! and now is available for purchase!! yihaaaaaaaaa, love it, love it.

This is a simple card I did using Winterberry paper, specifically the PINK DOTS! I love dots and pink so this paper is awesome for me! Using the Spring stamp set was quick and gorgeous!!

Another swap project!

ATC's for a swap

My daughters were using my table again!! but I decided to watch them and enjoy since I knew I can work at night, lol. So they created a lot, they did a bag for each other, one for me and they asked my DH to go with them to buy chocolates for my bag, then they did a puppet and some other stuff. They want to be like mommy!!

Well when they went to sleep I came and work in some ATC's for a swap in Paper Wings, here is the sample and what I did yesterday (mass production) now I just have to glue them and I am done! Thanks for looking!

Oh YEAHH, I did work

Yihaaaaa!! I can't beleive it, I forgot that I have a lil time when they go to bed! so I did this for them! I just love them and today I was just enjoying a lot seeing them here in my workshop, they are just like me in that sense, they want to be like me! I am so important for them that I couldn't resist to do a lil thing for them, I can't wait to see their faces tomorrow when they get their lil clipboards!

I couldn't work, there was someone on my table...

Yes!! Today, DH asked to do some stuff outside (Bank, Office Max, Sam's, etc) so I was almost until 3 pm outside!! and when I arrived my lil DD was playing at my desk (she was at pbskids.org) and my oldest DD was on my table doing some projects! so I have an invation!! lol. Here is one of the bags my DD did this one was for her father! and of course when she saw me taking a picture, she asked me, mom are you planning to upload that picture to your blog? and I say of course I am, and she said but you have to give me the credit okay! I cann't believe that my DD was saying that I said "can you tell me just one time I take credit for anyone's stuff?" and she said, I can't just to make sure!! (Everytime she helps me with something crafty she say, you have to give me credit for this!) When she started with her cardmaking designs I said that she is going to be the next Elsie Flanigan, her style is just like Elsie and I don't have Elsie's book, but I think I am going to buy it for her, she is just very talented, even do she is only 8! but started at 6. She is ansioxly waiting to be an 18 year old to sign as a TAC angel! lol

I love BOLD stamps!!

Don't you? I like to color stamped images, but sometimes you need to do something real quick and that is when I just LOVE BOLD stamps!! I got my inspiration from page 3 on the Spring/Summer 2008 Catalog, and created this quick card. I used Oh How set, wich I love!, Catelynne papers wich are one of my favorites collection, Cote D'Azure Palette ink (is just gorgeous) and of course Scallops!

It's almost Valentine Day!!

Today I received a treat from a friend! and I am sooooooooo happy!! It's just lovely! I don't know how I am going to eat those chocolates, should I save them? lol I don't think so because I am a sugar baby so this is the last time they are going to look so pretty!! Another Treat for Friendship

I was working on my dd's album but I organized a swap and I need to do a "Treat for Friendship" so I have to work on that too! (Don't asked me how can I make it, because I really don't know! I don't know where from I get time to do all the things you do, my day is always in fast motion, I wish I can have someone recording my day! it have to be funny!) My dd's birthday party album!

Well, yesterday! I was so tired that I couldn't upload the pictures!! sorry! but here I am BABY! this birthday was so much FUN! It was only my daugthers, my stepdaughter and my two lil nieces. So it was a lil group but LOTS of fun, I was so impressed that my niece Jeliana (who is 11) works great! and she was very interested in the scrapbooking and paper crafts!! (she is just like me, lol) and my stepdaughter enjoy it a lot (she is almost 20) and even do I tried so bad to get her hooked with this I haven't so much luck with that! My lil daughter started working until my lil niece arrived, then they just want to play (they are 5) so I got to work with my oldest daughter (and she loves it!), my niece Jeliana and my stepdaughter Gabriela. My mother was here and she asked me why I didn't have a kit for her!! OHHHHHHHHHH, can you beleive it!! Well I finished giving her my album, so I need to do another one, or two or three because now my DH wants one for him, so he can display the pictures he took, one for my sister (I forgot to send an invitation just for her!! please don't kill me, I feel really miserable!) and one for me, because I have pictures too! lol.

Handmade Accordion Mini Album

This is a mini album I used to teach about 3 years ago! and it is a HIT for everyone, I always have some customers that ask for one when they want to give a special gift to someone. This time my friend/customer asked me to use BRIGHT colors! I am not a bright stampers/scrapbooker, but I get it done in no time! I did this from scratch. I hope she likes it and the person who is going to receive it too!

6 cards in a round!!

Wooo HOooooo!! I love swaps! the best reason to get involve in swaps is that you have the pressure to work!! lol. Well I am in a swap and I have to make 6 cards by Feb. 15 and today I did all of them!! can you believe it? I can't!

Is so nice to work in something you love and enjoy, I am really blessed during the day I am my dd's teacher and then I am a stamper!! isn't that awesome (of course I have to cook, do the chores, etc) but to be a teacher and a stamper is the best thing in the world!!

I celebrate 8 years of Motherhood!!

How sweet!! I found myself today as WOW! if my oldest daughter is 8 years old today, I have being a mother for 8 years, right? Maternity is a real blessing for me, I used to be so different! Now I just think about what they want to eat, what they want to do, what the will prefer, evend o I am still being Diana the person, I feel like most of my life is about them!! How much I love this girls, specially because they are a gift from God! He blessed me with this wonderful kids!! Sometimes I asked myself how my life could be without them? I can not imagine that because I am just so Happy to be a Mother and to be their mother! I know they feel the same. I am here almost all the time with them and I feel so bless!

Tomorrow is my dear daughter birthday!! YESS, I am old, she turns 8!! and she is sooo big!! so that means I am old!! lol Well, she decided to celebrate on Saturday so I have time to do ALL the things she asked for!! in the mean time I have some fun playing!

This is a pocket card using some of my favorites and one of the new Level A sets(Circle Sampler, Blooming Builders, It's the lil things Level A), Uptown Girl and Scallop punch!! and of course the Scor Pal.

The Scallop border on the black cardstock it was made with the NEW corner rounder in TAC catalog!! yihaaaaaaaaa!! Love it! I was dreaming to work with that and I did it (I have the CM corner rounder and you can't do that with it!)
