Something Old, Something New!

It's not a wedding! I just want to share an old card and a new card! The other day I had an idea while I was looking to the Spanish Sentiment set and the Spanish Seasonal Cuties! I have been wanting MORE Spanish sets, of course! But I have to work with what I have, right? so my idea was that since we have some sentiments that can be use for more ocassions with just something else I ordered a customp stamp with the word "Mamá" (Mom), that way I can do different phrases just for mom! so I will have even MORE options with what I have on hand. Yesterday I got my order and here is the result! I combine the Spanish Sentiment "para tí" (for you) phrase with my new custom stamp and I love it!!! Now I need to order more custom stamps and I will have more options to use in my cards! of course "Papá" (Dad) is next!

Don't you love this girl? It's from the Cupcake Cuties set and it have been on my table for long time waiting for me!!! I designed the card using a retired paper (Bella Flor) and the Nestabilities Label One set. I have it finished there for a couple of days waiting for the Mamá stamp to come!

Why to share an old card with you? Well since TAC announced the Final Farewells list I have been looking into it to know wich ones I have and wich ones I need to order! While I was doing that I noticed that some of my most used stamps are there, so I decided to share some old cards done with those sets that I love so very much, because I don't want you miss them and now is the best time to get them with 25% off! right?

Memory Crafter Monthly Club Kit

I received a couple of e-mails asking about the MC Club, so I want to answer here. The Memory Carfter Club is a club organized by me and where I send through snail mail a kit for you to do different projects. Wednesday of Challenge and Card Front Trade!

What a nice surprise to see my Card Front trade at Mischelle's blog!! I have problems with uploading picture to my computer so it was great to have this GORGEOUS picture to share with you! and my idea for Today's challenge was to create a background paper!! so now is complete!! YES!! Today's challenge is to create your background paper!! I love to do that!! is just soooo cool to do it! I used the Friendship Strips stamp to create different papers!! This is one of them! I love how it turns out! I also used the Wishing you Happiness set (NEW) and the Enjoy Nature Level A set wich is also NEW). If you do something with my challenge, please share with me your creations!

Que sorpresa tan maravillosa encontrar mi tarjeta de intercambio en el blog de Mischelle!! Saben que estoy teniendo problemas con subir las fotos a mi computadora así que fue genial encontrar esta foto tan bella para compartir con ustedes! Además, mi idea para el Challenge de Hoy era crear un papel con sellos, ahora está completa!! WOHOOOOOO!! el challenge de hoy es crear tu propio papel con sellos. A mi me encanta hacerlo, es super cool!!! Para este usé el sello Friendship Strips y cree diferentes papeles, en este use solo una de las imagenes pero hice varios diseños con otras imagenes del sello (luegos las comparto) A mi me encantó el resultado. También usé Wishing you Happiness y Enjoy Nature (Level A set) ambos NUEVOS en el catálogo 2009-2010. Si haces algún proyecto con el challenge de hoy, por favor comparte tus creaciones!

Just 2 days and my Wed. of Challenge!

Yipee!! I figured it out how to drag my signature to the picture using my laptop without mouse, lol! I know it sounds stupid but I didn't know how to do it!! Just 2 days for Seminar, wohooooo!!!

Hope you have a great Father's Day yesterday, I sure did! I start celebrating my dad on Saturday I did a special "antojito puertorriqueño: Alcapurrias" I am sure he love them. He is very hard to pleased and he said about 30 times that he loves them! and we had a great time!! Then yesterday I was all day at the kitchen (did you know I love my kitchen?, lol) Well I do love it! I did my DH's favorite breakfast, then I cook "Chicken with Rice- Arroz con pollo for the first time in my life!! That is my favorite plate but I was so scared that I never tried it but yesterday I was corageous and I did it!! All my family love my "chicken with rice and beans! - arroz con pollo y habichuelas guisadas (hablandadas), jeje." We laugh so much!!

Well here is my card for last week Wednesday of Challenge! I am having issues with my computer but I upload the pictures to my laptop and now I know how to add the signature too!! I feel soooo good! But I better run because FINALLY! I did my sample for my card fronts trades, yes, just my sample, lol!! and I promise a friend that I will call her that I finish all of them before I get in the plane!! (she thinks I am going to call her that I couldn't make so I am having fun at the airport doing my trades!!) I almost forgot to share with you that this Thanks is from one of the sets soon to be relase in the NEW catalog!! it's called Enjoy Nature, the strips are from Friendship Strips!

Yipeeee!! al fin aprendi como mover la firma hasta mi foto!! jeje se que suena estúpido, pero no sabía como hacerlo.

Espero que hayas pasado un Feliz Día de los Padres! de seguro yo si lo tuve, empezé tempranito celebrando a mi papá el sábado, le hice un "antojito puertorriqueño: Alcapurrias" Estoy segura que le encantaron pues el es bien difícil de complacer y dijo como 30 veces que estaban ricas!! jeje (si las hice yo mismita) disfrutamos muchísimo. Luego ayer, estuve todo el día en la cocina, le hice a mi esposo su desayuno favorito y luego cociné "arroz con pollo y habichuelas hablandadas acá" no sabías que me encantab la cocina, pues siiii me encanta mi cocina, jeje!! Este es mi plato favorito, pero tenía miedo de prepararlo, ayer saqué valor y lo hice por primera vez!! estaba todo el mundo feliz pues me quedó riquísimo, modestia aparte, jeje!

Bueno aquí está mi tarjeta del pasado Wednesday of Challenge! Estoy teniendo problemas con mi computadora, para subir las fotos, pero las subí a mi laptop y ahora se como ponerle la firma wohoo!!! Me siento tannnn bien!! Pero mejor me voy a ver si hago algo pues estamos a sólo dos días del Seminario y FINALMENTE!! terminé mi muestra de los card fronts, jeje!! siiii solo la mustra!! y le prometí a una amiga que la llamaría cuando llegara al aeropuerto para decirle que tenía todo listo!! antes de montarme en el avión (ella piensa que la llamaré para decirle que no pude hacerlo y estoy disfrutando en el aeropuerto haciendo mis swaps, jeje). Casi olvido mencionarles que ese Thanks es de un set que viene en el NUEVO catálogo de TAC, se llama Enjoy Nature! las rayitas son del set Friendship Strips!
