A new card! about time, right?

Have you see the Latina Crafter's images? they are designed by Soft Pencil Studios and I know you will love them!! Here I used the Christmas House image without the snow!!! I have some friends in Puerto Rico that told me they wouldn't use that one because there is no snow there, right? but I just did the trick (not inking the snow) and there you have it! This is a quick card (I was ready to go to the postal office and I have everyone looking at me while I was trying to do it, lol) so, it's easy and fun to do it and there is no coloring for those that told me, but I don't color, lol!! Hope you like it!

Ya has visto las nuevas imagenes de Latina Crafter? son diseñadas por Soft Pencil Studios y estoy segura de que te encantarán!! Aquí usé la de Casita en Navidad pero sin la nieve!! Tengo amigas en Puerto Rico que me dijeron que estaba linda, pero que no la podían usar pues allá no había nieve, y es cierto!!! pero aquí la usé sin ponerle tinta a la nieve!! y listo!! Esta fue una tarjeta rapidísima (estabamos ya listos para irnos al correo y tenía a todos mirandome mientras hacía la tarjeta, jeje) así que me tomó solo unos minutos y bajo presión!! fue divertido y fácil y además no colorié para las que me dicen, pero yo no coloreo, jeje Espero te guste!

Te gusta la nieve y colorear? pues te invito a pasar por aquí para que veas la tarjeta de mi hija en Latina Crafter, es tannnn linda, jeje!

Inspirational Sunday!

Sometimes we think that there is no more, we have wait long enough for the things we have been praying and waiting to receive a response, and time is up, but wait and see! One thing that is really important for everything we pray and ask to God is the way we look at it. It's extremely important that if/when we ask something from God, we have to set our mind for that, expect great things because the Lord asked us to trust Him, but most of the time we want it our way and our time, and it can't work like that, if we Believe and Trust God we have to expect that He is going to do something big for us! maybe is not exactly how we ask it to be, but I am sure is going to be something GREAT because our Lord is an awesome God and He will do extraordinary things for those who believe and trust Him! Do you Believe He is working for you and that you will receive extraordinary things from Him? be bold about it and you will see His glory and the amazing things He has in store for you! I am waiting for the ones He has for me!

A veces pensamos que ya no hay más, que hemos esperado el tiempo suficiente por las cosas que hemos estado orando y esperando recibir una respuesta, y que el tiempo se acabó, pero espera y verás! Algo que es bien importante cuando se trata de las cosas por las que oramos y le pedimos al Señor es la forma en que lo vemos. Es trascendental que si le pedimos o cuando le pedimos algo a Dios, pongamos nuestra mente lista para esperar grandes cosas, porque el Señor nos pide que confiemos en Él, pero la mayoría de las veces queremos que se haga a nuestra manera y en nuestro tiempo, y así no es, si creemos y confiamos en Dios tenemos que esperar y confiar que El va a hacer algo grande por nosotros! tal vez no es exactamente lo que le pedimos, pero estoy segura que va a ser algo grande, porque nuestro Señor es un Dios maravilloso y Él hará cosas extraordinarias para los que creen y confían en Él! ¿Crees que El está trabajando por ti y que vas a recibir cosas extraordinarias de Su parte? Atrevete a declararlo y verás Su gloria y las cosas maravillosas que Él ha preparado para ti! Yo estoy esperando las mias!

Saturday Spotlight!

I am sorry I didn't post anything last Saturday, I can tell you I have been busy with Latina Crafter my new line of Sellos en Español, specially now that I added Soft Pencil Studios design to the line!! But I manage to do a card the other day using a DIGI! So today I decided to "Spotlight" Mabelle's Digi images! Yes, I am not that good with digi stuff, but when I found this one made by my dear friend Mabelle, I have to give it a try! and I used one of my new sets ("Dando Gracias"/Giving Thanks) for Thanksgiving day! Hope you like it! and if you want that digi go to Mabelle's store, tell her I send you!! she is such a great friend! She has a lot of good stuff there and I know you already know I love Mabelle's designs! since TAC is no more, you can get her stuff in her store, I have receive a lot of question about what are Mabelle's fans are going to do now, but don't panic she is still designing and soon she is going to have rubber too! **wink**

Siento mucho que la semana pasada no tuve mi "Saturday Spotlight", les cuento que he estado super ajorada con Latina Crafter mi nueva línea de Sellos en Español, especialmente ahora que le he añadido imagenes de Soft Pencil Studios!! Pero manejé hacer esta tarjeta con las imagenes digitales de Mabelle, asi que el "Spotlight" de hoy son las imagenes digitales de Mabelle! No soy muy fanática de las imagenes digitales, pero tan pronto vi esta de mi querida amiga Mabelle, tenía que hacer una tarjeta, jeje! usé uno de mis nuevos sets llamado Dando Gracias en alución al Día de Acción de Gracias! Espero te guste y si quieres esa imagen, te invito a pasar por la tienda de Mabelle, dile que te envíe!! ella es una amiga super especial!! y tiene bellezas allí, se que ya saben que me encantan sus diseños, y como TAC cerró he recibido muchas preguntas de que harán ahora para conseguir los diseños de Mabelle, pues no se preocupen, hay Mabelle para largo, jeje! pues además de sus digis pronto habrá "rubber" **wink**

Did you read the news?

First, I want to give thanks to all of you that have been praying for my mom. Thanks God she is doing a lot better, still have some pain, but thankfully they removed the tumors and she is doing good. Now she has to go to another appointment with another specialist because they found something else, but I trust the Lord that she is going to be fine with that too! She is so brave, so courageous and so strong, she is a Cancer Survivor and she has been trough a lot of things and I know she will make it trough this too!! I am so proud of her, she is my mother! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, thanks for all your encouraging messages and your prayers!

Elizabeth did such a great job with the images!! and for all of you my English speaking friends, the images don't come with Spanish sentiments, so you can use them as well!! Inspirational Sunday!

I am sure late today! but I can tell you I have been busy with lots of blessings I have received from the Lord! He is the one that sure knows how to do things for us. When something bad happened to us, we sure go right to God and ask Him why this or that is happening to us, but are we that fast to give Thanks to Him when something good happen to us? I mean when you get something big enough, like a miracle we appreciate it and gave Him thanks, but for the day to day blessings do we give Him the credit He deserves? I tried to be thankful to Him for all the blessings I receive from Him, and everything happens because He is in control so we should give Him the glory and be thankful for everything! The health, the family we have, our kids, our jobs, our house, all those little things that we take for granted are there because of Him, because His mercy, because of His goodness to us!

I invite you to think and reflect on those little things and take your time to give thanks to Him, because He is good with us and He shows us His goodness everyday! Amen!

Hoy si que estoy tarde! pero te tengo que decir que he estado ocupada con muchas bendiciones que he recibido de parte del Señor! Él si que sabe como hacer las cosas por nosotros. Lo que me hace pensar en lo rápido que somos para cuestionarlo cuando algo malo nos sucede, pero no se si somos así de rápidos para dar gracias a Dios cuando algo bueno nos sucede. Me refiero a que muchas veces cuando recibimos un milagro o algo grande, si se lo agradecemos, pero damos gracias por las bendiciones del día a día? como por ejemplo, el parking que conseguimos cerca del edificio, las luces verdes cuando estabamos tarde, etc. En mi caso trato de ser agradecida con el Señor por todas las bendiciones que recibo de El, pues al fin y al cabo todo sucede porque Él está en control, a El debemos darle la gloria y dar gracias por todo! La salud, la familia que tenemos, nuestros hijos, nuestros trabajos, nuestra casa, todas esas pequeñas cosas que damos por sentadas son así por El, por Su misericordia, por Su bondad para con nosotros!

Te invito a pensar y reflexionar sobre esas pequeñas cosas y a tomarte tu tiempo para dar gracias a Él, porque Él es bueno con nosotros y nos muestra su bondad todos los días!

A clean and simple card!

I made this card yesterday, while waiting to know something from mom's surgery! Thanks God everything went well with the surgery, but they found something else, so please keep her in your prayers!! Thanks to those that kept and keep her in their prayers, I am deeply grateful!

I used an already colored image that I have seating waiting for me to make it in to a card, lol! I used Latina Crafter sentiment in Spanish to go with it, the image is from TAC! Hope you like it! Clean and simple!

Hice esta tarjeta ayer, mientras esperaba noticias de mami, gracias a Dios todo salió bien, aunque le encontraron algo más, por favor sigan orando por ella! Gracias a todos los que la mantuvieron y la mantengan en sus oraciones, estoy profundamente agradecida!

Usé una imagen que ya había coloreado, jeje! estaba esperando por mi a que la hicera en una tarjeta! Usé un sentimiento en español de Latina Crafter, la imagen es de TAC! Espero les guste, sencilla y fácil!

Inspirational Sunday!

As you know, yesterday I was feeling sick, yikes, I still feel not so good, but today I decided to fill my mind with positive thoughts, I feel better! Yesterday, even when I wasn't feeling good I didn't stop, I slept then fixed the lunch, I slept then I vacuumed the apartment, I slept and then fixed the dinner, and in between I did 5 loads of laundry! Yes, I am not going to let how I feel determined the way I am going to act! Yesterday I had a tons of stuff to do, sadly I couldn't seat here to finish all the things I needed to do, but I managed to take care of my family and the house! Is all about the priorities, when you can't do everything you need to choose what do you have to do first! For me it was my family and the house where we live!

Doing what is most important will give you a sense of accomplishment that nothing else can give you! Even when you can't do everything! I pray the Lord that He gives me the strengths I need to keep going, leading me through the right path, sometimes I can't make it, sometimes I can, but I trust Him and I keep forward. Seat down and write your priorities and don't try to do everything at the same time, you will find the strengths if you trust God, He will help you even when you think you can't make it happen.

I pray for a fabulous week for you and me! Today take a time to remember those heroes that gave their life for us: Christ that died for our salvation and our soldiers that died for our freedom! Also remember those who died at 9/11, and cherish what you have today, take nothing for granted, you will never know what is going to happen tomorrow! Prayers for those affected by this tragedy and for the soon and safe return of those serving our country! God bless them!

Saturday Spotlight!

Today I just want to use more of my Catelynne paper, yes!! Just a short post because I feel a bit sick, headache, muscle pain and I really want to go to sleep, but today is cleaning day, lol! BUT I am soo excited to play with this lovely palette! that I have to do something, lol. Since I didn't have a lot of time, I took one of my already color images and did this quick card! My spotlight is to use different pattern paper and some embelishments, nothing fancy, just a quick card to get your mojo back!

Hoy sólo quería usar más de mi papel Catelynne, sí! Sólo un breve post, porque me siento un poco enferma con dolor de cabeza, dolor muscular y tengo muchas ganas de ir a dormir, pero hoy es día de limpieza, jiji! Pero estoy taaan emocionada de jugar con esta paleta de colores tan preciosa! que tengo que hacer algo, jajaja. Como no tenía mucho tiempo, tomé una de mis imágenes que tenía coloreadas e hice esta tarjeta rapidito! Mi "spotlight" es el uso de papel de patrones diferentes y solo un embelishments, nada "fancy", sólo una tarjeta rápida para ver si me ánimo de nuevo!

My inspiration is coming back!! kind of...

WOW! The other day I received an envelope with lots of Catelynne paper!! I found out that I gave away all my Catelynne paper back in Puerto Rico and now I can't order anymore!! So one amazing angel sent me some paper to play! I can tell you I got inspire quickly and here a card I did!

I also got some stamps I had in the garage (the discontinued ones, I haven't touch in a long time, lol) so here it is! It's not a master piece instead a quick card to start getting use to it, lol!

Hace unos días recibí un sobre con muchos papeles de la colección Catelynne! cuando TAC anunció su cierre me di cuenta que había regalado todo mi papel de esa colección y ahora no lo puedo ordenar, arghhh!! Gracias a Dios una muy querida amiga/angel! me envió muchos para poder jugar! De verlos nada más me inspiré a hacer algo y aquí la tarjetita que hice!

Como había subido del garage algunos de los sellos descontinuados decidí usar de esos, jeje, pues hacía tiempo que no los usaba!! No es una obra de arte, pero el comienzo a lo que me llega toda la inspiración, jeje!

Inspirational Sunday!

So long no post!! sorry, I haven't been around, lots of things, lot of work, but everything is good, thanks God! Today I want to talk to you about taking control of every opportunity you have. There is no second chances in life, so you should try to take advantage of each one of thew opportunities you get. How do you that? filling your life with meaning-full activities! Sometimes we choose meaning-less activities over the meaning-full ones. Watch a TV program over reading a story to your kid! Success come to those that fill their life with meaning-full activities like calling a friend instead of feeling sorry for their life! If you learn how to balance your life dividing your activities between this two categories, meaning-full and meaning-less you will have better results and your life will be so much better!

Hope you start filling your life with meaning-full activities today and enjoy the time of your life! Read to your kids, call a friend and tell me how you feel by doing that, expect amazing things!

Hace tiempo que no escribía! Siento mucho no haber estado por aquí, muchas cosas, mucho trabajo, pero todo está bien, gracias a Dios! Hoy quiero hablarte acerca de tomar el control de todas las oportunidades que tienes. No hay segundas oportunidades en la vida, así que debes tratar de sacarle provecho a cada una de las oportunidades que recibes. ¿Cómo hacemos eso? llenando tu vida de actividades con significado! A veces elegimos hacer cosas con menos significado sobre actividades llenas de significado. Por ejemplo, escogemos ver un programa de televisión en lugar de leerle un cuento a tu hijo/a! El éxito viene a los que llenan sus vidas con actividades llenas de significado como llamar a un amigo en lugar de sentir lástima por su vida! Si aprendes a equilibrar tu vida dividiendo tus actividades entre estas dos categorías, es decir actividades llenas de significado y actividades de menos significado tenrás mejores resultados y tu vida será mucho mejor!

Espero que puedas empezar a llenar tu vida con actividades llenas de significado hoy y que disfrutes del tiempo de tu vida! Lee con tus hijos, llama a un amigo y me dices cómo te sientes al hacer eso, espera resultados increíbles!
