About me and Awesome Inspiration

I know some of you have been asking what is happening to me! Oh well, I am getting ready to sell my house and move to US, so that's the reason I haven't been around for a while. I am almost done with all the things I need to do to advertise the house for sale so that means I will have bits of time to have some fun doing what I really LOVE to do, not painting, fixing, packing and stuff like that, lol!! Yes, if you need some fixings in your house I can go and help you, I am almost an expert by this time, lol!

Anyway, since I have only been able to do a bit of stamping and coloring for a swap, that I can't share yet I have something that I am sure is going to inspire you!! Do you like this wonderful card you see here? It's Nichol Magouirk artwork and if you haven't visit her blog yet, this is the best time to do so. I admire Nichol's work and her personality, she is such an incredible girl, so talented and so sweet!! I will love to visit with her when I go to her state next year! that will be sooooo awesome!! but in the meantime enjoy her artwork and her videos, she is awesome doing videos and it's soooo natural, that you can stay all day watching her tutorials, go over there to see more! and let me know how do you like it, I know that I LOVE everything there, she is amazing!

Se que muchas se andan preguntando que es de mi vida! Bueno pues les cuento que me estoy preparando para la venta de mi casa y mi mudanza a EU. Así que esa es la razón por la que he estado un poco perdida, jeje! Pero GAD todo va muy bien, lo único que sin tiempo para estar por aquí. Ya estoy casi lista para poner la casa a la venta, así que eso significa que tendré unos momentitos para hacer lo que realmente AMO! sii nada de pintar, reparar, empacar, y cosas por el estilo, jeje! Oh, si al menos ya estoy casi una experta en reparaciones del hogar, así que si me necesitan estoy disponible, jeje!

De todos modos, no he estado haciendo mucho (solo algunas tarjetas para un swap que aún no puedo compartir), pero de todos modos quería compartir una hermosa tarjeta hecha por la talentosísima Nichol Magouirk. Se que será de gran inspiración, pues su trabajo es super especTACular! Si aún no conoces su blog este es un buen momento para visitarla, el pasado viernes estuvo destacando unos sellos de TAC y tiene dos tarjetas con sus videos, sencillamente maravillosos, ella es super creativa y super dulce, me encantaría conocerla personalmente el próximo año cuando esté de visita en su estado! Se que te encantarán sus videos, tiene muchísimo arte y es super natural, me encanta eso de ella. Bueno no las entrentengo más para que puedan visitarla.

I am so sorry for been MIA!

I can't beleive I have been sooo much time absent from here. I have to tell you that I will LOVE to update here every day, but some days are really, really busy lately and with the new semester just around the corner I guess it will be harder! but we will see what I can do to manage not let you that much time without knowing a bit about me.

Time flies!

I have received a couple of messages and even when the challenge was supposed to end first by Sunday, then yesterday and Sony almost kill me, lol (a joke!) I am announcing another extension! Check the post and see that you have a lil bit more of time!

I haven't been around for a while, I know! but trust me it's not because I want to, I will tell you more later, but we have been doing a couple of stuff in the house (landscaping, re-doing the front and taking care of other things as well) so I haven't touch anything here, well yesterday night I took a break and I colored two images that you will soon around (specially if you are suscribe to my newsletter!**wink**). Talking about the newsletter, this card was one I did for the last newsletter but I didn't use it there, so I am sharing here with you! I used some of the sequins that come in the new Gems kit! Simple and sparkling! I also used one of the PWP that you can order for only $2.95 with a $30 order and the heart is from I heart you set! The paper collection is Catelynne and you can see the outside and inside of the card.

I have to run I need to take a bath and go to sleep, tomorrow will be another busy day!

He recibido algunos mensajes sobre el challenge y aunque se suponía fuese para el domingo pasado, luego para ayer! (Sony casi me mata por extenderlo, jeje! relajando!) Verifica el post para que veas hasta cuando tienes!

Se que no he estado por ahi ultimamente, pero creeme que no es por gusto! He estado haciendo algunas mejoras en la casa y ha sido extenuante! no he tocado nada, bueno ayer si toqué dos imagenes que las verás proximamente (especialmente si estás suscrita a mi newsletter, jeje!). Hablando de newsletter, esta tarjeta la hice para el newsletter pasado, pero como no la incluí allá decidí compartirla con ustedes. Look what I found!

I was looking for a picture at my computer and found this card I haven't share with you! If you were at Seminar you will remember about it because it was in one of the boards there! Yes, I submited for the Catalog, but it wasn't choosed! At least I have one there, lol! Not my favorite one, because of course we are never satisfied, right? Lol!

I am sooo sorry for not being around I can tell you I have been pretty busy lately! PLUS there is a BIG news, but I can't share now, lol!!! Hopefully soon, but that has me really busy (not craft related, just in case!). Anyway I just want to say that I am around! and to share this card I found!! I love the clouds, it was a template and sponging with white ink! and everything else was with the Sweet Goodies stamp set! I like all the possibilites with that set!

Estaba buscando una foto en la computadora y encontré esta tarjeta que no había compartido contigo!! Si estuviste en el Seminario, se que la viste pues estaba en uno de los carteles con tarjetas! Siii, fue una de las que sometí para el catálogo, pero no fue publicada! Al menos me publicaron una, cierto? No fue mi favorita, por supuesto, nunca estamos satisfechas, jeje!

Siento muchísimo que no he estado por aquí como de costumbre, de verdad que he estado supe atareada!! Además, tengo una SUPER noticia, pero aún no puedo compartir, jeje!! Pronto, pronto! (nada que ver con el hobby, por si acaso!). De todos modos, sólo quería decirles que estoy bien y compartir esta tarjeta que encontré! Me encantan las nubes, fueron hechas con tinta usando una esponja y un patrón que corte a mano de un cardstock, todo lo demás fue con el sello "Sweet Goodies" me encantan todas las posibilidades que nos da este set!

Espero te guste! de mi parte te diré que me divertí muchísimo cuando la hice!

A challenge for Sonia's Studio 60!

My dear friend Sony! asked me to host a challenge for her Birthday Celebration at her blog and ofcourse I said YES!! I love Sony and I love challenges, so it was an easy YES, lol!

For this challenge you just have to do some Girly Mini Cards (not necessary to be PINK or childish, just girly!) and if you can incorporate the birthday theme, that will be awesome BUT not required! The project you see here it's a set of girly birthday's mini cards! and back yo can see an easy and simple mini layout. When Sony asked me she suggest some differents themes/projects and I was sooo tempted to do them all, lol! She suggest: girly, mini cards, from card to crop and birthday of course! and this is my final product, I hope she likes it!

I guess you want to know if there is a prize for the winner! of course there is!! so be sure to post your project because you can be the winner of a Surprise kit designed by me!! that is the 1st prize and we will also choose two more winners that will get a Mini Surprise kit! I will try to post pictures later, it's soooo hot here that I have to go for a bit!

Mi querida amiga Sony me pidió que hiciera un reto para su celebración de cumpleaños que está haciendo en su blog! Yo quiero muchísimo a Sony y me encantan los retos, así que por supuesto le dije que si!! Fue un siii super fácil, para mi un honor!

Para este reto, sólo tienes que hacer unas mini tarjetas bien "girly" (no tienen que ser ROSA o de niña, simplemente femenina) y si pueden ser de cumpleaños mucho mejor (así ya tienes para un próximo regalo, jeje, PERO no es requerido!). El proyecto que hice es un set de mini tarjetas de cumpleaños bien "girly" y atrás puedes ver un mini layout super sencillo y fácil. La razón es que Sony me sugirió varios temas y no supe que escoger, jeje! Los temas sugeridos fueron: mini tarjetas, "girly", cumpleaños, de tarjeta a scrapbook! así que pues traté de hacer un poquito de todo, espero les guste!

Me imagino que quieres saber si hay un premio, verdad? pues, claro que sí! Así que no dejes de participar, la ganadora recibirá un Kit Sorpresa y además escogeremos dos ganadoras más y cada una recibirá un Mini Kit Sorpresa diseñado por mí! Yes! Short and sweet! I just want to share this card with you! A bit about the card! This card used the NEW paper collection called: Maggie and the stamp set is Fairytale Fun. The funny thing about this card is that I colored that image before Seminar, so I had no idea about Maggie!! and it worked pretty cool with it! What you think? Un poquito sobre la tarjeta, jeje!! Spanish Stamps?

Hey! I haven't been around for a while, we are doing some stuff in the house, so that's the reason!! Today I was thinking about Spanish Stamps!! I know that for some of you, Spanish Sentiments it's not a TOP priority, but for me, it is!!! I love to give away cards in my language, you know what I mean! Oh well, we have 2 different sets in Spanish and I hope to have more in the near future, yes, a girl can dream, right?

Anyway, I am happy with what I have NOW so here is a card I did with the Spanish Seasonal Cuties. Isn't this bear adorable? It's just sooo cute!! Here I did a masculine card because last time I used it in a girl card! Hope you like it!

Se que no he estado por aquí por un tiempito! Es que hemos estado haciendo unos trabajos en la casa!! Hoy he estado pensando en más sellos en español, jeje!! En el caso de ustedes, mis lectoras en español, se que me entienden super bien!! Cuando hablo de más sellos en nuestro idioma!! Me encanta la idea de dar tarjetas en mi idioma, se que me entiendes, jeje!! Bueno al menos tenemos dos sets en español, pero espero tener más en el futuro, estás de acuerdo conmigo? podemos soñar, cierto?

Como estoy feliz con lo que tengo ahora, jeje! les presento una tarjeta que hice con el set "Spanish Seasonal Cuties" no es chulísimo este osito? jeje, hoy es osito, pues la otra vez fue una osita! Espero les guste!

A card to share!

Here is a card I did for the Online Seminar Celebration at the Paper Wings Forum last week, the Challenge was: Remaining Neutral ("almost") so what you can do was to use: Black, White and Kraft cardstock and an extra color! It was a real challenge for me, lol! I want to add more color, but I finally glue it together, lol! Hope you like it, by now I think it looks pretty and elegant, what do you think? BTW I used a new set called: Delicate Florals.

Off to cut the rest of my stamps, lol!! I can wait to start playing with them.

Les comparto una tarjeta que hice la semana pasada para la Celebración del Seminario En línea del foro Paper Wings (un foro exclusivo para Angels!). El reto era Neutral (Casi) asi que lo que podías usar era: Negro, Blanco, Kraft y un color adicional! Fue realmente un reto para mi, jeje! Quería ponerle más colores, pero finalmente la pegué para evitar la tntación, jeje! Espero que te guste, ya me estoy acostumbrando, se ve bonita y elegante, qué crees? Oh, el sello es uno nuevo, llamado: "Delicate Florals".

Me voy ya a cortar más sellos, jeje! Estoy loca por jugar con ellos.

There is no place like Gnome!

Ohhh!!! you don't have an idea how much fun is to work with this NEW set!! It's called No place like gnome and the sad part is that today I got my FREE order (the one I did using my Gift Cards from Seminar, I love TAC, lol!) and I didn't order this set!!! It has to be in my next one!! At least I stamped some from it at Seminar so I can share this card with you!! Don't you think that "gnome" is just beautiful? and fun? I used my Copic to color in and I like the result!!

Oh well, it's a short note because I want to finish the indexing part for ALL the new sets I got today and see if I can cut at least half of them, lol! I already indexed about 10 sets so I think I am half done with that part, if I can get out of here, maybe I can make it, so good night!! lol!

No tienes idea que mucho me divertí haciendo esta tarjeta con este NUEVO set!! se llama: No place like gnome! y la peor parte es que hoy recibí la orden de sellos GRATIS (usando las Gift Cards que me gané en el Seminario, amo TAC!! jeje) y no ordené este set!!! al menos había estampado algunas imagenes en el Seminario, así que pude hacer esta tarjeta! no crees que este "gnome" es sencillamente hermoso? y divertido? usé mis Copic para darle color y me encantó el resultado!!

Bueno, esto será una notita, pues quiero terminar de hacerle el "indexing" de todos los sellos que recibí hoy y al menos cortar la mitad, jeje! Bueno ya tengo hecho los "indexings" de como 10 sets, así que es menos lo que me falta, si logro levantarme de aquí puede ser que lo logre, así que buenas noches, jeje!!

Blog Candy Updated!

Just a little note to let you know that the Blog Candy to Rossana went postal on Friday!!! also I sent on Friday stamped images to: Yelyn, Samantha, Nena and Adriana. Those are the address I had by that time!! I still need address from the other girls so I can send the stamped images!!! I am going to wait until July 15 if I don't receive the info by then I will be choosing another winners!

On another note, I have been pretty busy here with some stuff I am working with, but I will be sharing bits soon and enjoying time with the family!! Hope you had a great weekend, I am sure I did!

I am sooo happy!!

Yes!! I never thought that have a Candy was that fun and I can tell you this wasn't my first candy, but this time I received a lot of encouragement and a lot of excitement from you! and that is something really cool! (I am just brainstorming ideas for the next one, or maybe once a month?, lol, just looking for something really cool to share with you!).

Here is a "sweet" card that I want to share with you in Celebration of the Blog Candy winner and the Stamped Images winners!!! The image I used here is from one of the new sets called: Sugar Coated Sweetness and I used my Copic Markers to color in! The papers are from Catelynne paper collection wich is now at a new price from $10.95 to $8.95 for a pack of 11 cardstock pages (9 X 9) and also includes a tabs and tags embelishement page! Really beautiful and stylish!

I already have some address so those are going to be mail tomorrow!!! I can't say with words how happy I am to have you ALL in my life!!
