TAC Seminar News!!

I know I've been MIA again!! and one of the reasons (the first one is the school year) is that I got a call from an ANGEL that wants for me to go to Seminar this year!! I have to tell you that with all the things happening in my life, this year I wasn't planning to go to Seminar. That was a pretty hard decission for me and one that made me cry A LOT!! I love TAC and I love to go to Seminar to see Mischelle and her family and ALL MY ANGELS friends!! I was sooo sad about it, but then suddenly this opportunity came out of the blue!! I was in TOTAL SHOCK!!! and I didn't know what to say. I wait for DH to come and talk with him, the thing is that I found a ticket for $150 less that what I've seen previously!! so I put it on hold!! Oh well, to make the story short (it's really LONG) I didn't do it on time, but then DH received a call that the class he was going to be teaching was cancel and I cried!!! because the airfare WAS up for $150, lol!!! Then I remembered that the reason I was flying was DH class!!!! (everyone was driving on Wednesday!) so I called my DF Cindie and I am driving with a bunch of SUPER COOL friends from here and I can't wait to be there!!!

All that stress (in the good way) plus other things happening in my life made me be MIA again! I am sooo sorry about that!!

Here I am sharing a card I did for a Virtual Swap, but I couldn't post it in time because my blog was giving me a hard time to post!! Anyway I want to share with all of you! If you don't read more about from me for a while is just because I am getting all my trades ready for Seminar (next week) and I have to finish some stuff here too!! Hope to share with you soon!

A DT Call entry!

Edited: Thanks for your support, but when I went to upload my card it didn't let me!! so I didn't enter for this DT! I e-mail the lady, but never receive a reply from her!
I just found out a Cricut Challenge Blog that is having a DT Call! I rushed and worked hard because the last day is today!!! I love that the blog is in English and Spanish, so I did this card to enter!! What do you think?

The Other Two Cards by my Daughter

As I promised, here are the other two cards I received for Mother's Day!! The I ♥ u Mom is from my lil sister, she has the idea and my oldest help her out!! They work together for this and I can tell you, I am a happy mom!

This one was the one my oldest did a few minutes before they gave me the presents!! She is soooo funny and DH too! He told me here is the card I did for you! and I said: really? and he said yes! (with a face showing that he was lying!) anyway, I asked him wich machine did you use to cut the flowers? and he said: the cricut, of course, lol!! I told him, I got you, that flower is with a bigshot die, lol!!! and he said, what's that?

Hope you are doing great and have a great Memorial Day honoring the heroes that gave their lifes for our freedom!

Como les prometí, tarde pero seguro, jijiji! Aquí las otras dos tarjetas que recibí el día de las Madres, la primera fue la que me dió mi hija menor, la hizo con la ayuda de la grande!! Me encanta que trabajen juntas, me hacen super feliz, jijiji!

La segunda fue la que mi hija mayor hizo, minutos antes de darme los regalos, para que mi esposo me diera en su nombre. El vino super contento a decirme mira lo que te hice (con cara de que no era cierto, jijiji) y yo le dije de verdad? y el siii, siii!! Entonces le pregunté que maquina usaste para hacer la flor? y me dice la cricut por supuesto, jejejeje!! Le dije te cogí!! esa flor es con un molde de la bigshot!! y él me dice que es eso???? jijijiji!!

Bueno me despido por ahora, espero estés muy bien y disfrutes de este Día de la Recordación, honrando y recordando a aquellos heroes que dieron sus vidas por nuestra libertad!

OMG! MIA since Mother's Day!

WOW, I can't beleive I couldn't enter to my blog for a whole week!!! I am sooo sorry about it. I changed to IE9 and it didn't let me publish!!!! so this post was suppose to be on last Monday!!

Here is the card my daugther gave me at Mother's Day, it was the MOST WONDERFUL mother's day ever! It was an amazing day from start to finish!! Love my family, they actually work hard to make it magical! They are all sooo lovely!

My daughter made an extra card so my DH has one to fill out! and she also helped my lil one to make me one!! Lots of details and they didn't want for me to COOK, but that is not possible!! I LOVE to cook and I LOVE to see their faces when I get the plates in the table, so that is a blessing they can't keep from me, lol!! I said to them, I know you want to impress me and to honor me today, but for me is an honor to cook for you, so out of the kitchen!!!! lol, we all laugh and have fun about it! They knew I couldn't seat and watch! Specially since I need to use my NEW Waffle Maker!!

WOW, no puedo creer que no había podido entrar a mi blog por una semana entera! Lo que sucedió fue que cambié a IE9 y no me dejaba publicar, este mensaje era del lunes pasado!!!

Aquí les comparto la tarjeta que me hizo mi hija para el Día de las Madres, que por cierto, fue el Día de las Madres mas maravilloso de la historia, jijiji! Fue un día increíble de principio a fin! Amo a mi familia, de verdad que se esforzaron realmente para hacer de este día uno mágico! Todos ellos son taaan especiales!

Mi hija hizo una tarjeta extra para que mi esposo me la diera! y también ayudó a mi chiquita a hacer la suya! Muchos detalles especiales para mi!! y no querían ni dejarme cocinar, pero eso no fue posible! Me encanta cocinar y me encanta ver sus caras cuando pongo los platos en la mesa, así que esa es una bendición que no me pueden quitar, jeje! Les dije, sé que me quieren impresionar y honrar hoy, pero para mí es un honor cocinar para ustedes, así que... fuera de la cocina!! jeje, todos nos reímos y divertimos con eso! Sabían que no podían decirme que me quedara mirando!! Especialmente cuando tenía que estrenar mi nueva waflera!

Espero que todas hayan tenido un maravilloso Día de las Madres y les deseo una excelente semana!

Happy NSD and a Special Card to share!

Hello my friends and Happy National Scrapbooking Day! Today I want to share this card and her story! Remember I was going to check if I find the cards my DD made for my BFF? Oh well, I found one, but while looking for those I found this beautiful card, isn't she gorgeous? I have to tell you that this card as it said in the picture was made by Madeline Vargas, she is my BFF and she colored this image while at a Copic Class at my house! I was soooo excited because she did such a wonderful work with that girl, isn't she? Well a couple of days later, I received a text message with this card (that's why I found it, lol). We laughed a lot when she gave it to me!! because when she sent me the card by text I asked her who is going to receive that beautiful card (usually she sent me the card with a message like this is for....) but that day I didn't receive that message and for me it was weird, so I asked. She never replied so with all the things I was doing by those days, I forgot about it. For my birthday she came in with THE CARD!!! Ohhhhh, I was sooo honor to receive that card and we laughed about the story with my other friends that were at home that day for my "Cupcake Mini Party", lol!

Okay, I should tell you the story, right? When I was packaging my stuff, the last room I did was my Stamping Rooom, okay, I started with it, but I noticed that I can be there for months and years and don't finish, so I decided to move on and let everything else there for later! The thing is that I NEVER get to finish my room and she and my other BFF help me with that, they went home and packed some stuff to send me. Here comes the story, lol! In one of those boxes I received this card AGAIN!!! Yes, I left this card in my studio and SHE sent it back to me! I felt soooo SAD, that I left the card and that she found it!! If I were her, I guess I would be sad and mad and take the card for me and never say anything about it, but SHE didn't, she sent it to me and I was sooo touch, she didn't get mad at me, she knew what I was going through but there is no reason for me to left that and even when she found out she still loves me anyway! Life is so short that I am happy to be bless with her friendship! and I want to take this moment to say Thanks, thank you my dear friend, my sister!

Feliz Día Nacional de Scrapbooking! Hoy quiero compartirles esta tarjeta que tiene una historia especial para mi! Recuerdas que iba a ver si encontraba las tarjetas que mi querida hija le hizo a mi mejor amiga? Bueno, encontré una, pero al mismo tiempo encontré esta hermosa tarjeta, ¿no es mona esta chica? Tengo que decirles que esta tarjeta como dice en la foto fue hecha por Madeline Vargas, mi mejor amiga. Ella coloreó esta imagen, en una clase Copics en mi casa! Yo estaba taaaan emocionada porque ella hizo un trabajo maravilloso con esa chica, ¿no te parece? Bueno un par de días más tarde, recibí un mensaje de texto con esta tarjeta (por eso la encontré en mi búsqueda, jeje). Nos reímos mucho cuando ella me la dio! porque cuando ella me envió la tarjeta de texto le preguntó quién va a recibir esa hermosa tarjeta (pues por lo general ella me envía la tarjeta con un mensaje como esta es para ....) pero ese día no recibí el mensaje y me extrañó, así que le pregunté. Ella no respondió y con todas las cosas que estaba haciendo en esos días, me olvidé del asunto. Para mi cumpleaños ella llegó con LA TARJETA! Ohhhhh, estaba taaan emocionada de recibirla y nos reímos de la historia con mis otras amigas que estaban en casa ese día para mi "Cupcake Mini Party", jeje!

Bueno, ya debo contar la historia, ¿verdad? Cuando estaba empacando mis cosas, lo último que hice fue mi Stamping Rooom, bueno empecé con él, pero me di cuenta de que podía estar allí durante meses y años y no terminaría, así que decidí seguir adelante y dejar lo que quedaba para más tarde! La cosa es que nunca llegué a terminarlo, jijiji. Made y otra amiguita especial que quiero mucho, me ayudaron con eso, fueron a casa y prepararon algunas cajas que me enviaron. Aquí viene la historia, jeje! Como diría mi hija "finalmente!". En una de esas cajas que recibí, estaba esta tarjeta! Sí, la dejé en mi estudio y ella la encontró y me la envió de nuevo a mí! Me sentí taaaan triste de dejar la tarjeta y más de que ella la encontró! Si yo hubiese sido ella, creo que me hubiese sentido tan triste y molesta que cogería la tarjeta para mí y nunca diría nada al respecto, pero ella no lo hizo, ella me la envió a mí y eso me tocó el corazón, ella no se enojó conmigo, ella sabía lo que estaba pasando, pero para mi no hay ninguna razón, no hay excusas! La vida es tan corta que aprovecho para agradecer el poder contar con su amistad! Gracias mi querida amiga, mi hermana!

Tengo que decirte que si quieres ahorrar un poco en tus productos para "scrapbook", "stamping", libros y más, debes unirte a Swagbucks. Mother's day card for my MOM!

Have you done a card for something and then you said, no, that's not the card I want for that person? I mean, I just have ONE mom, you know! but I have been doing a couple of cards and none of them was like, yesss!!! that's it! I know you understanding, right? So I keep trying and I think THIS is the ONE for my mom! Specially since I am not going to hand deliver it to her, that's the worst part!! but at least I want that she feels the LOVE I had when I was doing it, I think she can sense it now!

Alguna vez has hecho una tarjeta para algo y luego dices: no, definitivamente no es lo que quiero para esa persona? Quiero decir, sólo tengo UNA mamá, tu sabes! pero he tenido que hacer varias tarjetas pues ninguna era como SIII, ésta es! Se que me entiendes, verdad? I want to share this....

Oh, I am a proud mom!!! This is a card my daughter did the other day while we craft together, I guess since I am doing Mother's Day Cards she wants to do the same, lol!! I said this because she started a couple not only this one! but this is the one she finished completely! But don't tell her I shared it, she is kind of shy and will probably kill me, or maybe she does not give me a gift for Mother's Day, so PLEASE don't tell her anything before Mother's Day!!

What you think? I really like all the details she did for it! I want to share another one she did for my BFF, oh wow!! That card was amazing! and she did another one for her last year, I have to check if I have pics of those on my cell, because when she finish the cards she gave them right away, most of the time because she just made two birthday's card that I can't share yet, bute the are superrr cutee!!!!

Estoy super orgullosa y quería compartir esta tarjeta que hizo mi querida hija los otros días cuando estabamos escrapeando juntas!! Como he estado haciendo tarjetas del Día de las Madres, pues ella no se podía quedar atrás, jeje!! Esta no es la única que hizo, creo que ha hecho mas que yo, jijiji!! pero esta es la única que pude retratar sin que ella se diera cuenta, asi que NO le digan NADA pues me mata, o me deja sin regalo de las Madres, asi que no le digan al menos hasta después del Día de las Madres, jeje!

Que les parece? A mi me encantó, pues ella le pone mucho detalle y mucho amor! Deja ver si encuentro unas que ella le hizo a mi BFF, oh wow!!! estaban brutales, tengo que ver en mi celular pues ella es de las que hace una tarjeta para regalarla y la da rapidito, bueno casi siempre, pues ahora mismo terminó unas de cumpleaños que no puedo mostrar todavía, pero que le quedaron brutales!!!

I think this is the Last...

Not, my last post of course, I know I have been MIA but I sure LOVE to share with you all at least through my blog! what I want to say is that I think this is the last Mother's Day card I am going to be doing for now! but hey I can't be sure about that yet, lol!

The other day I got an E for my BFF and of course I have to check is everything was okay before I send it to her (since she is in PR yet... praying that someday she and her family can move closer to me!) I did this cut and I have to use it! I decided that I NEED TO STAMP something!! and I got my stamps and inks to get the feeling, I miss my system back home, I used to have my stamps in a cd carrousel but here I have them in boxes! I have to deal with that soon and memorize where are them in the boxes, I knew where it was each one of my stamps (and I have a LOT!) so back to the card, lol! sometimes I get distracted, you know! I stamped some polka dots (you know how much I L♥V dots, right?) with my Claret ink and I think this card turned out cute!! What do you think?

PS I am entering this card to the Fantabolous Cricut Challenge!!! I decided to check for challenges to get my inspiration back, wohooo!!!

No mi último post aquí, se que he estado un poco perdida, pero me encanta poder compartir con ustedes aunque sea por aquí!! Lo que quería decir es que creo que esta es la última tarjeta de las Madres de este año, jijiji, aunque no lo puedo asegurar, tengo miles de ideas en mi cabeza!!

Hace unos días mi BFF me pidió que le consiguiera una E y tenía que probarla pues tengo que enviarsela a PR (siii, ella todavía está allá, pero sigo orando para que algún día ella y su familia estén acá cerca de nosotros!!), hice este corte y por supuesto que tenía que usarlo, jijiji!! Decidí que también era hora ya de USAR MIS STAMPS!!! y eso hice! Es que no me acostumbro a mi nuevo sistema, allá en PR los tenía en un carrusel para CD's, acá los tengo en cajas, allá sabía exactamente donde estaba cada uno de mis stamps (y mira que tengo muchos!!!) NO ME ACOSTUMBRO!!! pero se que necesito bregar y memorizarme donde están ahora! eso no será tan difícil!!! eso espero, jijijiji! Bueno de vuelta a la tarjeta, arghhh!! ustedes saben que me distraigo con facilidad!!! Busqué y busqué hasta que encontré mi sello de puntos!! me imagino que ya saben que AM♥ los puntos, verdad?, la tinta claret y tan tan! Creo que me quedó bonita, qué crees?

Changing Blog Design and a Card Share!

Have you check my new blog design? I've been trying to change all my blog design without investing in hiring someone to do it! I am not sure if is going to work, but I LOVE my new banner, lol!!! It's just sooo mee!!! I love the colors and the boldness about it, don't you?

Since I have received a couple of e-mails asking about it, I want to tell you that I did it with Photoshop Elements and Lettering Delights. It was pretty easy and fun! Another Mother's Day Card!

Two posts yesterday, I can't beleive it, do you? lol!! I am sooo excited with the 45% promo, aren't you? It's fabulous!! Are you making your list? I am almost ready to send my order, wohoooo!!!! RUBBER!!!! lol!

Here I am sharing another Mother's Day card I did with my girls! I am enjoying those moments soooo much! Isn't these two just soooo cute? I love how it turned out and it was soooo cool to designed and work with my oldest daughter, she is sooo creative, and she gets sooo excited, she is just like me! My youngest doesn't get that excited, she is soooo much fun to play with, cause we never get stress out, she is always making us laugh and singing for us! She did a paper doll for me while we were working with this card, you know she is more creative than us, so she has to do her own thing, lol!! I have to take a picture to share with you! but I have to ask her first!!

Me encanta cómo quedó y fue taaaan divertido diseñar y trabajar con mi hija mayor, ella es suuuperr creativa, y se emociona tanto como yo!! La chiquita no se emociona tanto, a ella le encanta bailar y cantar y hacernos reir, nunca nos da estrés si ella está, siempre nos hace reír y canta para nosotras! Mientras trabajamos con esta tarjeta ella hizo una muñeca de papel para mí, ella es más creativa así que tiene que hacer su propio proyecto, jeje! Tengo que tomarle una foto para compartir con ustedes! pero tengo que preguntarle primero a ella, por supuesto!

Hello my FRIENDS!

I am sooo happy to share with you a card I did recently with my girls, now that I don't have a ROOM for my stuff and that I have to work in the dinner table, my girls work with me ALL the time, lol!! Is a bit messy but is soooo MUCH FUN!

Here is an easy card I did since most of the time I am looking for the stuff my girls need for their projects, lol! (mom I need pink cardstock, mom the scissors, mom the create a critter cart, where are the embossing folders?)

Estoy super felizzzzz de poder compartir una tarjeta que hice recientemente con mis chicas, ahora que no tengo un CUARTO para mis cosas y que tengo que trabajar en la mesa del comedor, mis chicas trabajan conmigo TODO el tiempo, jijiji!! Es más revolú, pero es muchoooo mas divertido!

Aquí les comparto una tarjeta super fácil de hacer ya que la mayor parte del tiempo estoy buscando las cosas que mis chicas necesitan para sus proyectos, jeje (mami, cardstock rosa, mami el cart de create a critter, mami dónde están las tijeras? y los embossing folders?)

Solo necesito hacer más tarjetas para el Día de las Madres, está a la vuelta de la esquina, jijiji, que tengas una semana llena de bendiciones, les hablo pronto!

A bit about ME!

Finally I am here!!! First, I want to apologize for this LONG, GIGANTIC absent!!! as you know I was working with the house and moving to US! Yes, finally I made it to the US but haven't sell my house in Puerto Rico yet!!! so if you know someone interested in buying a house in Trujillo Alto, PR just let me know!

I want to do a lil review in photos of my life for the last couple of months! I know I did more stuff, but some weren't capture in pictures like the day I celebrate my birthday with some of my best friends, my SIL and her daughter and of course my two wonderful daughters (it was just a lunch and cupcakes, lol, organized at the very last moment), I hate that I was sooo disorganized that I didn't have any picture from that awesome day!!

Oh well I have to start, rember that I was fixing some stuff in the house? look at my terrace roof!!! It needed special attention that I couldn't make it done alone, I tried, lol!!

Thankfully, I have the most amazing dad that came to my rescue, he is a retired history teacher, lol, but he is always there for me when I need him, even when I asked to work with reparing the roof.

At least I was good with him and also asked a friend to help me out, and this one is a wood working guy, so for him was piece of cake! Even when it was REALLY SUNNY and when it starts to rain like madness!! It was an awesome month sharing with my dad all those days!

It was really crazy, since some days was bright and sunny and suddenly it began to rain and others they couldn't come because it was raining A LOT!! but here you can see part of the process!! and I managed to helped them out with the project and the cooking stuff too!! yes!!! I actually enjoyed the construction thing, lol!! my father once asked me to come inside because it was raining and I said to him, I am enjoying the rain now cause I couldn't when I was a kid, and he said!! Lier, lol!! I love to get down the rain, it's just magical, right?

Of course, everything wasn't Diana the Builder! I had a lil bit of crafty time! Here some cards I did for a swap hosted by my dear friend Holly and a wedding album for a special gift.



Also, my oldest daughter and myself create a magical birthday party for my youngest girl!! she wanted a Strawberry's Birthday party and that was what we did, we even dress up like Strawberry, Plum (myself) and Blueberry, lol!!! (noooo, no pictures of me!!)The beautiful and yummy cake was done by a dear friend from my infancy!!! Dalia did an amazing job with it, and it was soooooo good!!


Now some pictures of my very last days in Puerto Rico!! I enjoyed my Old San Juan and my very BEST FRIENDS!!! my daughters were soooo HAPPY!! and me? I was in CLOUD NINE!





Look what I found when I arrived to TX!! it was a nice weather and then suddenly SNOW!!! How fun, right? The girls had a lof fun playing with the snow!! Hope you enjoy to know a bit about me and stay in touch that I am almost ready to start crafting again!!! Thanks for keep visiting me, even when I was soooo MIA!!

Finalmente estoy aquí! En primer lugar, quiero pedir disculpas por esta GIGANTESCA y LARGA, ausencia! como ustedes saben yo estaba trabajando con la casa y preparandome para mudarme a E.U.! Sí, por fin llegué a E.U., pero todavía no he vendido mi casa en Puerto Rico todavía! así que si conoces a alguien interesado en comprar una casa en Trujillo Alto, PR, déjame saber!

Quiero hacer un resumen en fotos sobre mi vida en el último par de meses! Sé que hice más cosas, pero algunas no las tengo en fotos como el día en que celebré mi cumpleaños con algunos de mis mejores amigas, mi cuñada y su hija y por supuesto mis dos maravillosas hijas (fue sólo un almuerzo y cupcakes, jeje, organizado en el último momento), odio que estaba taaan desorganizada que no tomé ninguna foto de ese maravilloso día!

Bueno aquí empezaré, recuerdan que estaba arreglando algunas cosas en la casa? Mira el techo de mi terraza!!! Ya ven? Era necesario darle atención especial y por supuesto que no podía hacerlo sola, aunque creanme que lo intenté, jeje!

Por suerte, tengo el papá más maravilloso del mundo y vino a mi rescate, aunque él es un profesor de historia jubilado, jeje, o sea NADA que ver con construcción!! él es un hombre muy trabajador y siempre está ahí para mí cuando lo necesito, hasta para arreglar el techo!!! buaaaa, pobrecito!

Por lo menos yo fui buena con él y también le pedí a un amigo que se especializa en madera que me ayudara! Fueron muchos lindos momentos trabajar con papi!! Incluso cuando hacía mucho sol y cuando empezaba a llover, una locura! Fue un mes maravilloso, a pesar de TODO el trabajo que implicaba, los últimos días fueron un poco triste, pues me acostumbré a ver a papi a menudo!!!

Fue realmente una locura, ya que algunos días hacía un sol increíble, pero FUERTE, FUERTE yo hasta me broncié, jijiji y de momento comenzaba a llover y otros que no pudieron venir porque estaba lloviendo demasiado! pero al menos aquí pueden ver parte del proceso! Me las arreglé para ayudarlos con el proyecto y también para tener la comida lista (a veces me levantaba a las 6am a cocinar, jijiji)Gocé realmente todo este proceso de las mejoras, jeje! un día papi me dijo que entrara porque estaba lloviendo y yo le dije, estoy disfrutando de la lluvia ahora porque cuando chiquita no me dejaban, jijiji, y me dijo embustera, jijiji!! Siempre me ha gustado mojarme bajo la lluvia, es simplemente mágica, ¿verdad?

Por supuesto, no todo fue Diana La Constructora, jeje!! Tuve un poquito de tiempo de creatividad, jijiji! Aquí unas tarjetas que hice para un swap organizado por mi querida amiga Holly y un álbum de boda para un regalo especial. Bueno parte, pues fueron 20 páginas!!

Además, mi hija mayor y yo creamos una fiesta de cumpleaños mágica para mi hija más pequeña! que quería una fiesta de cumpleaños de Strawberry Shortcake, y eso fue lo que hicimos, incluso nos vestimos como Strawberry, Plum (yo) y Blueberry, jeje! (noooo, no hay fotos mias!)

El hermoso y delicioso bizcocho fue hecho por mi querida amiga de la infancia! Dalia, que hizo un trabajo increíble con él, y estaba tannnn bueno!!

Ahora comparto algunas fotos de mis últimos días en Puerto Rico! Disfruté de mi Viejo San Juan y mis MEJORES AMIGAS! mis hijas disfrutaron tantoooo! y yo? Yo estaba en la novena nube, jijiji, aunque triste también pues AMO a mi PUERTO RICO y AMO mi GENTE!

Por último, mira lo que encontré cuando llegué a Texas! hacía un muy buen tiempo y de repente NIEVE! Qué divertido, ¿verdad? NO tanto, después de unos días, jijiji!

Espero que les guste saber un poco sobre mí y quedate pendiente que estoy casi lista para iniciar de nuevo! Solo me falta organizar mis STAMPS!!!!! Gracias por seguir visitandome, incluso cuando estuve TANNNN PERDIDA!!!
